Just to be certain, saves are generally compatible between versions, right?

 

 

Not always. Most often there are reports of traits spawning to random people. After MuteDay offered a thought, I added a line to those traits that should never be handed out at random, but I don't know if it addressed the issue or not.

 

This update will also include an overhaul to the brothel whoring, and in doing so I've removed the old nadamod whoring event and added my own, so that may cause some issues with a save.

 

You could always try it out with your save, and if it doesn't work, remove the mod and then download and install the previous version (I'll leave it up for a bit before removing the old one - just in case someone wants to roll-back).

i was wondering if you added the check for the slave building so SC will know when the capital has the buildings to enable turning on a law?

 

I didn't catch it initially, but I see it now. I'll add it in for the upcoming release. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is there any known bug that can cause the futa-merchant event to be indefinitely blocked? MTTH is 10 years, but I haven't seen him in almost 85.

 

Also there should maybe be additional checks on the event that huge-boobed futas can trigger for males, because having your 60-year-old futanari mother try to seduce you is all kinds of awkward

I went through a number of pages, but didn't see a direct answer on this.  Is there any way to make the portrait part of this compatible with other mods that make graphical changes?  For instance, I want to use this mod with the Warhammer mod in my Slaaneshi campaign, but get a weird error with the graphics when using an updated version (even after deleting the various portrait packs that I don't have).   An earlier (pre-Remedy portrait) version of the mod works fine, but I get graphical errors if I try to use the latest version.  

 

Specifically, I get all non-child portraits split up into really big components with some shadows to the right.   ... that's not a very good explanation, but I expect if someone knows what is going on they'll probably understand.

 

I'm moderately conversant with CK2 modding, but have never touched the graphical stuff.  If the best I can do is surgically remove all the portrait work while still retaining the base mod, I'd be fine with that.

Re: Futa merchant - not that I can think of, although it'll be changing in the release that should be out late Monday or Tuesday, as it's switching to a random on_action event trigger. So if something is messing with it, it should now be more stable.

 

And I love that your 60 year-old futanari mother tried to seduce you. :) But I'll toss in an age check for the next release. They'll have to be younger than 50.

The fix is meant more to handle a lack of DLC, rather than making it work with other image related mods.

 

I can guess that the incompatibility in this case is the portraits.gfx, or possibly the portrait_properties.txt.

 

If you want to try something - you could try to nix everything in the Dark World > interface folder, save Dark World.gfx and nada.gfx.

Perhaps also a relation + religion check? Your mother (or far less likely, daughter or sister) should probably only try this if you're Zoro or Messalian

Quick notes about the Whoring overhaul.

 

Both female or males can now go to a whore house. (used to be males only)

 

Both females and males can now work as a whore. (used to be females only)

 

Some balancing may be needed as I'm shifting away from the nadamod approach of assigning a potential ai_whore to characters when they become adults and get their tits trait.

 

Some people won't become whores, or go whoring with traits like chaste or eunuch, while others will be more inclined to do so (such as hedonist or those who are lustful).

 

The idea is to make things more dynamic, as the previous flag was only based on a single point of time, so someone who later in life became a hedonist, lustful, greedy person, wouldn't have the option of becoming a whore. Now, they will.

 

And some good news, still looking like a later tonight or tomorrow release for v0.70.

this sounds like an amazing mod from the feedback everyone is giving, which is even more frustrating because i cant get the thing to work. I'm running version 2.3 (im using a pirated copy right now because im locked out of my steam and cant get the newest patches so i have to manually install everything) with a pirated copy of Way of Life and no matter what I do my game crashes as soon as it starts loading the database, all my other mods are comptiable with my dlc, and none of my mods effect portraits that i know of. I am missing some portraits but I followed the guide to eliminate the ones i didnt have and that didn't work either. im a complete noob and cant figure out whats wrong, does anyone have any advice?

Wish I could help you more, but the main piece of advice I can give would be working with Steam to get your locked out situation resolved.

 

It has been proven that there are issues trying to run the mod on a CK2 version that is earlier than 2.4x.

 

So outside of getting things fixed with Steam, the only other advice I can give is that you need to be using at least version 2.4x before giving it a try.

Alright, getting ready to post the latest update. I was going to squeeze a little bit more in, but the new Witcher 3 expansion hit, so I'm going to spend some time with it.

 

I'll be resuming the smaller, quicker updates as well. I like how the Warrior slave training is tracking and I'll apply that same functionality over to the other types of slave training as well, plus I've a lot more things bubbling and waiting to be implemented from more whoring options, to spells, and the Wizard's Lab.

 

Here's the change log for the upcoming release.

 

v0.70
    - Update: Female education upon reaching adulthood is now a little more than a placeholder event.
    - Update: Slight expansion to the Futa Merchant event and it is now a random on_action event.
    - Update: Overhaul to Whoring - females can go to the whorehouse, choices based on cash and quality of whores available, and more.
    - Fixed: add_lover error in the Werewolf Bitch event had the werewolf both keeping the bitch and himself as lovers
    - Fixed: bad bounce had the ruler potentially getting wounded when it should have been your werewolf courtier.
    - Tweak: Added is_female check for one of the Semen Wine options so it matches the event that follows
    - Fixed: A bad bounce in the vampire ball event that could banish the ruler.
    - Fixed: Removed old check on the immortal trait that could remove it after granting it via the new Succubus spell mechanism
    - Tweak: Added a prisoner check to the Werewolf Bitch event, although it was a bit funny when considered
    - Added: A province flags that will be used if Sexual Crusader exists, intended for SC to recognize certain Dark World buildings
    - Tweak: Futanari's over the age of 50 won't try to seduce you.
