dewguru Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 oh total mate and i see your point did not want to tread on toes just you add i not sheer the mod any more and that as a gamer is some thing im trying not to do since i enjoy your dark mod:P Something real quick - folks making recommendations ISN'T what I view as steering the mod. That was directed at the involuntary (although admittedly a pretty cool offering - yet still one I wouldn't use) of using svn, and a few side conversations with folks outside this thread. Those things actually aren't as big a deal as the hot fix postings. It sort of just got lumped in there. I'm all for folks making recommendations. Sharing ideas is cool, and I've used some and explained why others didn't fit into my vision - which I think helps others see where I'm coming from with the mod. So - in summary Hot fixes while I'm actively working on the mod = bad (please don't do) Sharing ideas = cool, feel free to continue Offering up big mod shaping or delivery / storing options = not desired, yet not bad - I'm just likely to ignore it My apologies for the unintended drama. I do have the tendency to try and "over communicate" at times which can muddy the water.
MuteDay Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 alright sorry for trying to help, this will be the last post you see from me here, good luck
Fearbringa Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 While testing this mod out my character got fucked by tue werewolf several times while being imprisoned on the far side of the map. Request adding a prisoner check on the events. I noticed new options on the slave training but they don't seem to do anyone when selected. Are they still a work in process? I really enjoyed the werewolf content. Please add more beast related content. Perhaps a "Mother Gaia" or "Earth Mother" quest line with the character giving thems to nature. Just a thought.
Jack Archer Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 alright sorry for trying to help, this will be the last post you see from me here, good luck What he meant was, dont post fixes of his mod. He didn't say leave my thread. If you find a fix, make a post of it or a sample fix of the code with the BBcode. It's nice to see your comments and suggestions for fixing as well you know.

MuteDay Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 here is a code for interlinking SC with DW, Not going to post files anymore so just give code namespace = SDW_BC character_event = { # add province flag id = SDW_BC.0 hide_window = yes trigger = { has_global_flag = SC_enabled ai = no } mean_time_to_happen = { months = 1 } immediate = { capital_scope = { if = { limit = { or = { has_building = dw_slave_dungeon has_building = dw_slave_market has_building = dw_slave_pen } } set_province_flag = DW_enslave_built } } any_realm_province = { if = { limit = { not = { is_capital = yes } has_province_flag = DW_enslave_built } clr_province_flag = DW_enslave_built } } } }
MuteDay Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 thats what the svn was for, was so we could add simple code like one above with ease, guru even has access to my svn
Vienas Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 None of the events are starting for me. And the only change that appears to exist in game is the Messalian faith being a possible religion. First and foremost, a few in-game days need to pass before the first event pops up. There is also a chance for mods conflicting. I ran the Harem mod before getting this one and it completely cancelled out this mod - the events didn't pop. Try to run the game with nothing enabled but DW. Maybe even disable DLCs. If everything looks fine and it still doesn't pop, you can "force" the chain to start by opening the console and typing "event DWLilith.1". Good luck! I disabled all my mods, except Dark World of course, and all my expansions, except Way of Life (I don't have Horse Lords). I waited for a few in-game years and no events fired off. I even forced start the event 'DWLilith.1', and all that poped up was an event box with only my character portrait on the left-hand side, and the letter 'A' <=(in caps) on the right. that means one of the events is missing its requirement I also forgot to point out that the traits from the mod don't apear in the ruler designer; and when I tried to add any of them through the console, it would say they do not exist. All of this points to you having installed the mod incorrectly. If you installed this in the mod directory located in your Steam > Crusader Kings directory, then it's the wrong place. Outside of that, we'd need more information. What version of CK2 are you running. What if you delete the mod and reinstall it? Is it selected both at start-up and then once again while in game? I placed DW where all of the other mods that I have, that do work: users > my documents > Paradox Interactive > CK2 > mod. I'm running the current version of CK2: 2.4.4 I deleted and reinstalled your mod, and it appears both on the launcher and in game. I would also like to know if I am suppose to see the traits for DW in the ruler designer?
centerflag982 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Hey, first off I just want to say I absolutely love this mod so far! Now, got a couple questions for you - first, is the futa trait non-inheritable? Your changelog mentions futa children, but I've had 9 daughters now with futa concubines and none of them got the trait. Second, what exactly triggers the werewolf event? I got it twice in about 10 years with my first character on this playthough, but haven't seen it since. Event file doesn't show a MTTH so I'm not sure how it starts. Also, there's a bit of a bug with Harley - if you're married to her, and she gets pregnant from the card-cheater event, the game treats the resulting child as if it's both your bastard (option to legitimize, with all the relevant opinion hits) and someone else's ("my wife has betrayed me," -200 unfaithful harlot)! I think this might be a result of the event calling the normal impregnate command if she's married, instead of the cuckoo variant. Haven't tried changing it and testing it, so I'm not certain. Also a bug with the semen-wine collection events - the "hands-on" approach doesn't seem to check whether the PC is female.
daemonforge Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Now, got a couple questions for you - first, is the futa trait non-inheritable? Your changelog mentions futa children, but I've had 9 daughters now with futa concubines and none of them got the trait. No, it's possible alright, just rare. I'm not sure what the odds are, pretty much luck of the draw.
LickeyDs Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Second, what exactly triggers the werewolf event? I got it twice in about 10 years with my first character on this playthough, but haven't seen it since. Event file doesn't show a MTTH so I'm not sure how it starts. It's supposed to have about 30% chance to trigger every decade. If not, the console command is "event DWWerewolf.100" Okay, the Vampire Event has a some problems too. When I clicked it I got an instant Game Over.
fishface60 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I noticed new options on the slave training but they don't seem to do anyone when selected. Are they still a work in process? I get script errors dumped to logs from the slave training scripts, and I've never had slave training progress either. I suspect they may be broken. Now, got a couple questions for you - first, is the futa trait non-inheritable? Your changelog mentions futa children, but I've had 9 daughters now with futa concubines and none of them got the trait. It is inheritable, I cheated it onto my succubus queen, and a fraction of my children inherited the trait. It's got inherit_chance = 20, so you've just gotten unlucky that none of them were futa, you should have had one by now. Okay, the Vampire Event has a some problems too. When I clicked it I got an instant Game Over. You're getting banished, which makes you abdicate to your heir, who is not of your dynasty.
LickeyDs Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Okay, the Vampire Event has a some problems too. When I clicked it I got an instant Game Over. You're getting banished, which makes you abdicate to your heir, who is not of your dynasty. I understand that. The problem isn't the Game Over, it's that the option even comes up.
Homilion Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Okay, the Vampire Event has a some problems too. When I clicked it I got an instant Game Over. You're getting banished, which makes you abdicate to your heir, who is not of your dynasty. I understand that. The problem isn't the Game Over, it's that the option even comes up. The problem isn't the option but that it targets you instead of the NPC like with the werewolf. It is probably the same mistake make due to the use of the same function.
fishface60 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Because the immortal trait has potential = { trait = lillith } in it, if you grant immortality to a character, then ask them to convert religion, or grant them land, then the immortality gets lost. Presumably the game recalculates game state at that point, and realises that you shouldn't have the trait.
LickeyDs Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 The problem isn't the option but that it targets you instead of the NPC like with the werewolf. It is probably the same mistake make due to the use of the same function. True, but the event comes up after I've invited the vampire to my court. It shouldn't trigger the second time.

I really enjoyed the werewolf content. Please add more beast related content. Perhaps a "Mother Gaia" or "Earth Mother" quest line with the character giving thems to nature. Just a thought. Prisoner check added. Thanks for sharing the issue. Not certain what you're talking about regarding the Slave Training. alright sorry for trying to help, this will be the last post you see from me here, good luck What he meant was, dont post fixes of his mod. He didn't say leave my thread. If you find a fix, make a post of it or a sample fix of the code with the BBcode. It's nice to see your comments and suggestions for fixing as well you know. Pretty much this. And my intention wasn't to single out any one person MuteDay, I tried to state it in a way that would address the current instance and hopefully discourage any future instances from anybody. It's not a hate thing. I've a lot of respect for the work you do. You've really done the adult CK2 mod community some good. I just don't want hot fixes posted. That's all. None of the events are starting for me. And the only change that appears to exist in game is the Messalian faith being a possible religion. I would also like to know if I am suppose to see the traits for DW in the ruler designer? Depends on the traits. Not all of them would appear there. Some should. I presently don't have the time to go through and see specifically what should and shouldn't. If you're not getting any of the events though, well, I've no more ideas for you. The mod wasn't really meant to build out via ruler designer. If you start with a female ruler, you'll get a visit from Lilith in your dreams sometime during the first six months usually. If you play a custom ruler that needs tits or a dick trait, then you should get an event after a few months that will give you the option to select your size or to assign one at random. Also a bug with the semen-wine collection events - the "hands-on" approach doesn't seem to check whether the PC is female. I believe someone answered the futa question for you. The werewolf event has chance to trigger once a decade. If you got the semen wine event, then that means it won the random roll for that decade, as that's another one of the decade event chances. And thanks for the mention regarding the is_female check. I've taken care of it.

I had totally forgotten about that requirement, since my intent was to never open up immortality until folks asked for it so often. Thanks for mentioning it. The problem isn't the option but that it targets you instead of the NPC like with the werewolf. It is probably the same mistake make due to the use of the same function. True, but the event comes up after I've invited the vampire to my court. It shouldn't trigger the second time. Yeah, what it's supposed to do is give you a last second out. The banish is actually supposed to be a clean-up of sorts, keeping them from joining your court and sending them elsewhere in the game world, as the ball is meant to be a mechanism for one of them to attach themselves to a court (so if not yours, someone should end up with a vampire in your game world unless you call it a night before ever speaking with one).
dewguru Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Alright, back from vacation and I've a few things to wrap up before releasing v0.70 which should be a Monday - Tuesday release, if not sooner. Here's what it presently entails: v0.70 - Update: Female education upon reaching adulthood is now a little more than a placeholder event. - Update: Slight expansion to the Futa Merchant event and it is now a random on_action event. - Update: Overhaul to Whoring - females can go to the whorehouse, choices based on cash and quality of whores available, and more. - Fixed: add_lover error in the Werewolf Bitch event had the werewolf both keeping the bitch and himself as lovers - Fixed: bad bounce had the ruler potentially getting wounded when it should have been your werewolf courtier. - Tweak: Added is_female check for one of the Semen Wine options so it matches the event that follows - Fixed: A bad bounce in the vampire ball event that could banish the ruler. - Fixed: Old check on the immortal trait that could remove it after granting it via the new Succubus spell mechanism - Tweak: Added a prisoner check to the Werewolf Bitch event, although it was a bit funny when considered
daemonforge Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 As the mod stands now, how does one go about getting the werewolf trait for their ruler? Assuming, of course, that it's possible.
Abraxis00 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Dewguru, I just wanted to check if you caught my post at the top of the last page -- the one pointing out the bad bounce in DWWerewolf241. Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to fix for the next patch, but I wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. Daemonforge, I don't know if it's the only way, but one possibility is to have your ruler take the werewolf as a lover, have a child with them (and make sure the child inherits the werewolf trait), make sure that child's your heir, and then get your current ruler killed. A little roundabout, but it should work. I don't know if there's a way to actually add the werewolf trait to an existing character (short of console commands).

So, no straight forward way to do it, as far as you know? And the way you outlined only works with female rulers since there are no female werewolves, as of yet. Is that correct?

You can still trigger the werewolf event as a male, have them join your court, and odds are they'll hook up with someone and start spitting out kids. Then you'd need to marry one and have kids of your own. You should then be able to create a werewolf heir that you'd then be able to play once your current ruler passes on. So it's definitely possible, just not a quick/fast method (outside of just doing the add_trait werewolf cheat). Abraxis00 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 MIssed that note -- sorry, I can be terribly unobservant. Thanks!
