TanookiTamaTachi Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 @tanookitamatachi Something to do with mounting. Game is searching for node "NPC COM [COM ]" but it was not found and it tries to use the node without checking if it exists. I can fix this with my plugin. Oooh, that makes sense. I have followers set to ride horses when I do, but one of them is non-humanoid. He musta tried saddling up when I passed by the stables. Aha, then I should instead of fixing just throw an error message so user knows that they have a problem with mod. Can you make a test real quick if this is really the case with non-humanoid mounting? Turned off "followers ride horses", went to stables, nothing happend. Turned it back on, crash after a few seconds. So yes, pretty sure it's that. Weird though, none of my other creature-followers ever tried riding horses... might be a missing keyword or something that'd prevent this. As for how to deal with it, dunno? I do think this problem should not happen unless you have a unfortunate mod-combination going on, but it's your call, ultimately.
h38fh2mf Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 New Crash ;-; Reinstall skeleton and rerun FNIS.
SqueezyLemon Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 New Crash ;-; Reinstall skeleton and rerun FNIS. Still Isn't working. If you need my modlist let me know.
sidfu Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 h38 i think the error might deal with the skleton weapon placement effeccts of xpms. whenn i disiabled the ffects but for PC i havent got that error. so wouldnt it be more of the skelton effects than the skeleton itself?
Umaril Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED, please IGNORE! @h38fh2mf I have this weird issue where the ENB d3d9.dll is causing my game to CTD when the loading screen finishes. The crash dump also says its the d3d9... It only occurs with the newest enb version. You possibly know whats going wrong here? (If not its not bad, I might figure it out eventually).. I know you dont use ENB, but I just ask for the case you can easily see whats going wrong by looking at the debug... The Exception adress where it crashes is always identical.... gooser Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Is that negative message number still there in your skse.log? If it is, I'd recommend finding out the plugin causing that while it's still fresh. It doesn't seem right. Yes, its still in the log for a succesful game load. I guess the best to track it down is trying to disable on plugin at a time?
Umaril Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 first try resetting your computer. ive had weird issue before where game did that and reset would fix it. also check make sure your enblocal.ini si setup right. for some haveing the 64x enabled or disabled causes it. reinstalling directx can also fix it as occasionaly for some reason windows screws up direct x. Enblocal and directx is always in order, but magically restarting PC fixed this issue. Game runs again. Any idea why this occurs? Really weird... I got this problem a couple of times now, but didn't really realize that restarting fixes it. I have a minimalistic OS install for Skyrim so ENB files do not interfere with any "crapware" how boris calls it Anyways, at least it's an easy to fix problem.. Thanks for ya tip! Back to hunting them random CTDs! Cheers

I guess the best to track it down is trying to disable on plugin at a time? It's negative because SKSE prints the number incorrectly. UInt32 messageType = ...; _MESSAGE("dispatch message (%d) to plugin listeners", messageType); It's an unsigned number and should have %u instead of %d. If shown correctly it's "2654435769" or "0x9E3779B9". This number is used in cryptology funny. No idea what mod would put it, but if used correctly it should be fine, it can be whatever ID the plugin wants. maybe here someone can help me I made a clean install and now i am installing also step by step my mods. I noticed some random CTDs, here the skse minidumps with always same exceptionaddress. ... It should be fixed with http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2551-crash-fixes/

It should be fixed with http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2551-crash-fixes/ Good find regarding the printf formatting. Not sure what you mean about cryptology. Do you mean cryptography?

Forgemaster Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 After playing further a new crash has appeared, I was casting a healing spell on top of an existing one a second before it happened. The recent thing I've done was adding Real Shelter and patching the weathers. 20 hours later in-game time from the last crash save which was the one with magic projectiles at 7 hours in-game time. Before this I had a crash with Kernelbase32.dll as the fault module, it was windows acting up I suppose. I haven't hold how invaluable and awesome your work is, so thanks. Forgemaster Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 @Forgemaster It has something to do with: calculating the object in your crosshair, raycasting and a mesh. I don't know more. Thank you, Ill try to narrow down what mod could have caused this, i'll restart the computer and retry from the last save doing what I did before to retrace steps. I can only think of Immersive HUD, Immersive First Person view, Customizable crosshair, Archery Gameplay Overhaul or Real Shelters as conficts at this point. I need to test. Edit: After cleaning a save from some script instances afterwards running the save and repeating the steps as I did before I couldn't replicate the crash and the game seems to run normally for now. I'll try to keep the save game as stable as possible. Currently I'm level 33, almost half-way into the main story, only one type of crash so far has been worked around. One non-TES executable crash and one crash you recently described have happened a day apart. So far so good, saving at critical points helps.
sidfu Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 h38 want to ask what type of ctd causes game to have a 0 size dump.
h38fh2mf Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 There could be many reasons, some not even related to the crash itself. SKSE log file should have more information.
