Overall I am enjoying this mod.  Lots of great work done on it and looking forward to the completion of more of the quests.

 

I have had an issue with the "Quick and Hard Initiation" Quest.  For one thing, the quest step "go to ceremony place" doesn't have a marker indicator and the step doesn't get marked as complete.  But the bigger issue is that after the player has sex with Katalia and the avatars, and receives the new spells, the quest "quick and hard initiation" doesn't go away.  Furthermore, and more seriously, my character can no longer craft, use an alchemy table or enchant.  They start to use the item, then the animation quickly ends. 

 

Now, I've dealt with - or avoided - this bug before.  It was associated with the "Magic Duel" mod (which I don't use), and has something to do with an animation not completing.  In the past when I've run into it, I just go to a save from before the problem began and all is well.  The problem with "Quick and Hard Initiation" is that I've gone back several times and the bug is definitely associate with that quest.  The quest won't complete, and I can no longer craft. 

 

I don't know if this has been brought up by someone else.  Hopefully will be addressed in a future update?

Aaaaargh it's still there.
Yes it's a dirty animation bug but Delzaron thought he tracked it down.
We don't know what to do anymore te get rid of it...

I just spoke about the same bug in the other mod (From the Deep) and Delzaron is wondering if it's a script compiling problem, and it's definitely linked to the "taking control of the player character" animations.

We'd really need some help on this one. ;)

All people having the crafting-station-stuck thingy : having a sexlab scene and/or aborting the current animation seem to be a (somewhat random) workaround for this bug.
Keep us informed if it works for you.


EDIT: it seems there are succesful reportes or sheating/unsheating weapons correcting the bug, and Magic Duel Reborn is one of the culprits often cited, but it can happen with other animation mods (that doesn't mean we're not guilty too).

cant use workstations?

i remember zaz had that issue a time ago. maybe ask him? something like adding an pack to the pc coused it.

I totaly changed thaht for AFS1.7...

 

But I need time to made ther werewolf part and the side and repeatible quests...

I finally got past the shaman initiation quest.

 

Now, It took me about 7 reloads/trys to get it to finish, and I think I know the problem I was having.  The NPC with the executors axe can't remember her name, kept roaming around the tree sitting down.  Now that in itself is not a problem, but that npc chooses to sit exactly where you have the quest npcs/player set to sit as well for the quest.  So I ended up having myself or one of the npc's standing looking down at that npc for untold minutes while she would just look at you and spam the whole " Yes?  You need something? " dialoge.  And yes tried many times hitting T and resting, but a lot of the time that npc's ai package would have her gone the minute I finished resting, but only to have her come right back and sit down in the way.  Maybe remove her from that part of the valley for the quest?

 

Only other bug I seem to find is the Nords Must Die part, npc just stays flagged as combat and spams " I surrender! "

AFS2BeginTribe : new indroduction scene, with Ethrane, Badycia, and Katalia.
Siplify the tent diqlogues. stages 190 and 191 supressed.
Reworked AFS2SidequestSkirmish (decapitation option supressed). changed the checkdeads() script. Segeste dialogie deleted.
AFS2SideQuestSkirmish is now a core quest.
Armin is now in Sicambres faction.
Armin now sleep in the Sicambres village
AFS2SideQuestPrincessWolves : Armin replace Odoacre.
AFS2SideQuestBrenus : Armin replace Odoacre. Katalia replace Segeste.
Laure moves in the youngs cave.
AFS5Investiguate : octavia Armin scene is now in the sicambre village.
AFS3Lesson Badycia : Henrieta slicing dialogue pathway disabled.
AFS2SideQuestWerewolf. Segeste replaced by Brenus.

ok i have found to game breaking glitches that dont let me proceed on the story at all

 

first one when you decided which tribe you wanna join and have gone to your new cave you have the quest of talking to the guy who asked you for the markarath shields when you talk to him he wants to ambushed some nords and killed them, i did that but the moment that ends the farmer girl comes to me and say i surrender plz dont kill me... but the game doesnt give me any options i just keep talking to her again and again and she only repeat the same words i surrender plz dont kill me. cant do anything after that

 

second one i found when vulkar asked you to help him get hes heart i go and that biatch ripped me heart out then i go and get three hearts, and i got vulkar heart but the moment i speak to him to turn me back to normal he do it but the second he finished the game crashes...

 

 

last ohh i wanted genserine to hate the date because she said she was gonna punish my character with being a sextoy for wolves that sounded cool i wish there were a way to fail it but that's just my opinion, everything else i have try have been really good congrats on this mod i just wished i could find the quest easier but that just me, and can you finish the quest of the raven lady i have read all over this topic that is broken but can i forced it?

- Yeah we kinda know about the farmer girl bug now, being reported çà&é"# times and all ;)

- Has the crash happened more than once ? Crashes nearly always happen because of a memory failure.

- I'm not sure Ravena's quest can be securely stage'd. There's probably a lot missing down the road.

can be done but its not worth it, you almost see nothing just travel from here to there no sex no action untile the end where she doesnt stops following you.

just skip it.

yes everytime i have try 4 times it crashes the second i he return my heart

 

how do i console command those 2 quest?

i see in your TODO LIST that you're having problems with getting your merchants to work. There's a good tutorial on You Tube by Darkfox127: Creation Kit (Create a Merchant)

Why not look it up yourself with the CK?

Console quick tips for betatesters:

"help AFS" will give you all the mod's quests and assets. So you can find your quest ID. useful if it doesn't start.

as explained just above
"getstage <QUESTID>" will give you the quest stage
"setstage <QUESTID> <STAGENUMBER>" will get you to a specific stage, and you can't revert, so save before.

there's also
"showquesttargets" that will give you all your active quests (and so you can quickly find your stuck one, instead of going through all the mod quests)
"player.sqs <QUESTID>" that will give you all this quest's stages and if accomplished or not. Some quests have blank or choice stages, but it's still a good tool.

Im sure its been brought up before. But mentioning incase it hasent. Doing the Ravena quests where your her slave. And as soon as you have Phage start tagging along at each Location Ravena no longer starts up dialogue with you. She does the little dialogue when you arrive depending on the time it took for you to arrive and you snap in place to face her. But the chat box and what she says after never pops up so your just kinda stuck there.

 

Ive tried jumping ahead a few stages in the quest and at every new location its the same thing.

Nah, people should just check the OP, when or if they tend to have a problem with a quest first.  I mean it says in red lettering its " Not Working for Now"  and " rewriting. "

Hi Delzaron !

 

I've just downloaded v1.7 and started it with a save cleared from any previous version of this mod, but as soon as I load the game, two quests starts:

 -Hagraven initiation

 -Forgotten Cave

 -Moira teleports to me and is following

 

Maybe that was a debug process you forgot to remove before releasing v1_7, isn't it ?
