P.S.- PLEASE! TID that works without console commands. I`m begging you! It just taunts me in it`s current state. IF you ever go back and work on it, perhaps PAHE implementation? Be nice to hand over my slaves to Ibn for training. Also, having to ask for sex(as a slave) kinda sucks. "Excuse me, ugly, disfigured monster. Would you like to force me to service you?" Be better if anyone/anything with high enough arousal just used the slaves(and servants?) whenever they felt like it, no dialogue. Also, taking the girl you`re captured with as a slave once PC is high enough rank would be nice. I never made it far enough through the mod to find out what happens to her, though.       Just some suggestions/requests. Feel free to ignore them.

in AFS, player join the forsworns, the clothes he wears doesn't matter.

The goal of the redone mod is to take control of the Reach.

 

In TID, only Ibn falmers are friendly at the start. You need to submit all other falmers dens to make all the falmers friendly (the famous "underground empire project".

In don't know for PAHE and TID...

Hi. It seems that new version of AFS prevents some mods from loading in mcm menu (PAH Home Sweet Home and PAHE AYGAS, to be precise). Not sure if AFS is doing it or there's something in my setup. Any tips on how to fox this?

AFS have no script involving in mcm... i don't know how we can detect the conflict, if conflict there is.

Hi, I'm playing the redone version but unforntunately I'm facing the same barrier that prevented me from completing the original version again. I am unable to progress past the "Following a Forsworn Girl" quest after it ends because Aramin has no dialogue options for me to continue the next quest. Am I supposed to overcome this via console commands to begin the next quest after this or using skipstage during the quest?

yes. the next quest is AFS2BeginTribes. Use setstage AFS2BeginTribe 10 and superior to make that quest progress.

I'll see how I can solve that problem.

About the War, I think I have an idea :

 

An interactive map, with some interactive markers.

- forsworns figurines reprensent forsworns forces.

- neutral forsworns figs represent tribes you didn't rally yet.

- markarth figurines markarth forces.

- chaurus represent Ibn falmers forces (only if you have TID)

- Markers for strategic places (towns, mines, redoubts).

- markers for Zenoby, mercenary chief, Katalia, Ethrane, Moira.

 

The idea : each region have a forsworn or markarth figurine (it represent who own the place, and the forces).

You click on each figs you have on your side to deply (defend a redoubt, etc...).

Moira, Katalia, and Ethrane figs are here for tasks too (for example, send Katalia to solve Phage and Vulkos love problem, send Moira to kill Ravana and take control of Hag rock redoubt, etc...) instead of doing these tasks yourself.

 

At the end of the war, most of the reach will be undercontro, except Markarth and some irreductible forsworns warchiefs. There will be the start for the Carmin Eagle stuff.

 

Of course, this is far beyond my skills, so I ask for help.

ok I got CTD when updating from 2 to 0.0. so proper way to update would be uninstall old one first, clean and install new one. but that way it will reset any progress made so far. anyway to not lose that progress?

Yes. The new one have too lot of changes to be compatible with the old one.

 

Hum... I should add some shortcuts, like I done in TID...

Thank you. Another thing to maybe note is that when I had to escape the mercenary jail with Katalia in the new (?) jail cell, it took a strangely long time for her to break the jail cell lock. I toggled off collision  to escape it myself whilst she was just walking back and forth from the door and it wasn't until I ran up the stairs and fought the mercenaries that she broke out herself.

 

Good luck on your efforts, I like the sound of the war quest idea. Maybe you could have a sidequest where you undermine the mercenaries' efforts by spreading propaganda to sympathetic NPCs in surrounding areas which results in them having fewer people fighting against the Forsworn.

I think she have difficulties to reach her spot. You can help her by disabling the jail door.

 

Propaganda ? Good idea, the persons you helped during the side quests could be used... like 'for each side quest completed, you gain +1 forworn sympathy'.

How to make normal animations start, turning this Funnybizness off completely will not help.
Playing as a male sex with Ethrane starts only lesbian animations.

I even did a completely new game save and the same things happen.

What I would like to see in the new version are more funny, sexy scenes/quests like the one with the wolf training before the ceremony with Katalia and Ethrane. That was my favorite mini quest. Also like the sidequest with the princess of the wolves, or the red riding hood and the werewolf. These kind of quests are the most fun.

There's a download file that says it is UNP armors.  Does that mean that the armors that come with the mod are CBBE, so I don't need the UNP patch?  What is the other armor patch file for?  And why are so many characters naked?  So far, a forsworn woman on the road to markarth has no clothes, and niether does Gleba.  (And he's following me around after he told me to go kidnap a Dibellan priestess.)  At least a third of the generic NPC Marses and Sicambrian Forsworn aren't wearing clothes.

After a lot of setstaging and movetoqt (these quests REALLY NEED quest markers, and some descriptions of where the person might be...) I got up to and finished AFS3BeginArmin.  But the next quest didn't start, and Badycia had no dialogue.  So I manually started AFS3WaysTrial, but the big iron door into the ruins doesn't teleport me anywhere.  It just opens and closes.  It looks like two variables weren't filled, sqv shows AFSRuinsExtDoor_var = None and AFSTrialSpriggan_var = None.  Could you give me a refID of where the door should teleport me to so I can player.moveto there?

I got into the Ways Trial by teleporting to the entrance of the strength trial, then walking back to the main door to trigger entry.  Had to cheat  my way through the combat trials, there's no way I could handle a skeletal dragon with no gear at my level, my magic use isn't strong enough.  Not to mention the spiders and falmer later on that I had to kill via console.  Speaking of the falmer, the Trial of Darkness had no exit, it just looped back to the beginning.  Had to setstage to get past that.  Pretty much had to step through setstaging the rest of the quest to complete it, but I did and now I'm a Primal Shaman.  

 

My main question now is, where do I get my gear back?

Yes, the trial is very tough... maybe too lot. I could reduce the difficulty, or place some help (like a bow and some special arrows).

 

The tiral of darkness is simple : you find and kill the falmer chief. It should trigger the next stage.

A trigger which check this falmer death is necessary...

 

Your gear is in a cave called the shaman labs. It's near Sicambres village.

I'll write up some notes about specific quests tomorrow.  Quick question, in AFS4QWar1, do the opposing forces ever attack?  We've gathered at Lost Valley Redoubt and are waiting, but no one seems to be coming to fight.

No one ever came, so I had some fun by using player.placeatme <Markarth soldier refid> 15 a couple times.  :) No quest started after this one ended, I've been looking around to see how to start other AFS5 quests but all I've been able to do is afs5primalhealing.  I'm pretty sure something should have auto-started after afs4qwar1 but I don't know what. I think Armin is suppposed to offer some quests but he has no dialogue to do so, except the repeatable quest dialogue.  What comes after AFS4QWar1?  And I thought I remembered something was supposed to happen after we found the burned up grove next to Dragon Bridge Overlook camp.  Maybe the AFS5GroveDefense quest?  Should it have autostarted?

no quest started after. Normal, the mod redone ends here for now. The next quest will be the War management.

 

You can still call the old quests by console. The first of them is AFS5GroveDefense (it will be supressed or redone ad a radiant quest : defend some sacred sites to preserve the power of forsworns).

I see the problem.

 

You need some spells (the decap head spell does amazing damages on humans, I'll adit it to make it damage creatures too). The shrines of the old gods grants you a nice perks enhancement and magicka recover. The outer gods one (very rare) grants you *25 healt regeneration in combat.

 

I'll add some percecoeur arrows in the temple and a bow. I'll add also the shrines inside the temple of the ways (the old gods and the outer gods ones).

 

Outside the temple, AFS provides must have stuff :

- Yngride bow, upgraded, is a very nice bow.

- percecoeur arrows are deadly.

- the kolduns and hagravens destruction spells.

- celerity is nice to avoid ennemies attacks and circle around them.

- Entangle reduce strongly their speed.

 

You need to seek the lessons side quests from shamans and hagravens in part 3. Having only the beast calm is not enough for the trial.

 

With my modifications, I suceed to kill the dragon at level 1.
