Cruel Raiders - Styr doesnt go in brothel. So sex act is broken, and quest couldnt set as completed. As i wrote before koldun, hargaven, primal initiations are broken. Scripts dont work, after u speak with girl near the Hunger. Arachnes Project - scripts don't work at all. I did use console in every stage of quest =/ A new Sybil for the Old Gods - i can say to Armin that i did infiltrate sisters of dibella when i didnt. He asks me about New Sybil, i say i dont know where she is, but i know. So i cant reach 3 stage of quest. But i should say that i do quests for The Sisterhood of Dibella mod, so i cannot do Armin's quest properly for now. And again - Vulkos Lesson - no markers, no explanation where to get virgin's blood. Add blood through console dont work. Is this quest connected to The girl and the wolf? Because i dont know where to start The girl and the wolf =/
wps Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Impressive mod. I appreciate the work that went into it, but... wow, it's fragile. Here are a few bugs I've picked up so far. Most of them are easy enough to work around, but I'm completely stuck on the shamanic ceremony. Any help on that one would be appreciated. General response timing: About 10% of the time the dialog flashes by too quickly to read, and I have to guess about the response. Sometimes (not often) the same message is readable if I restore from an earlier save and play through again. There are a few messages that I have never been able to read -- most notably the one that says something about being late during the Sicambre shamanic ceremony. When it isn't zero, the pause for conversation is unusually long. I have Fuz Ro Doh installed. I haven't noticed this issue with any other mod, and it's very intermittent with this one. Initial quest: If you talk to Katalia before you talk to the mercenary leader (Shae?), the quest advances (and breaks). Katalia responds as though she's already in jail, and the mercenary leader will no longer respond to conversation. Solution: reload an earlier save and don't talk to Katalia. Still, it's unnecessarily fragile. Also, if you get the East Empire Company quest from Madanach instead of from an innkeeper, the odds are good that you will also run into the girl who gives the Cyrodiil Geographic quest. Running those quests at the same time is a really bad idea, and breaks lots of things. Perhaps it's better to say that it gives the player lots of opportunities to break things, especially if it's the first playthrough and the player doesn't know how everything is supposed to work. It would probably be a good idea to make the quest giver a bit less aggressive about running up and starting the quest when you enter her AI detection radius, and let the newbies pass by unmolested. Shamanic ceremony (Sicambre version): I can't complete it. Ethrane immediately goes into her sandbox AI (chopping wood and what not), a message flashes about someone (I think Ethrane) being late, Thusnelda says something about replacing her and then something about silence, and everyone except Ethrane freezes. Ethrane continues her sandbox pathing indefinitely. Solution: damned if I know. I've tried various combinations of running ahead to the ceremony site, waiting behind to let the actors assemble before I arrive, and waiting for an hour at various points before and during the scene, but nothing changes. The final complement of actors is always the same. I don't want to setstage my way through, since I know the quest script does a bunch of faction stuff that's required for subsequent quests. I don't know if anyone is missing. Is there a list of the actors who are supposed to be there? General request: Is there a walkthrough, or at least a list that shows the order in which different quests are expected to be done? (Am I supposed to do the bit where three novice Forsworn follow Armin to beat up some Nords before the shamanic ceremony, or after? Does it break things if I get the order wrong?) I know the list would break immersion a bit, but digging through the forum topic looking for clues isn't very immersive, either. Any help would be appreciated. (Obviously it's been interesting enough to keep going this far!) Thanks --

In previous play throughs none of these ended up in completions. Next attempts avoided these with much better results. I'm wondering why these debug choices are there? Perhaps the author could clarify? Red Riding Hood Quest: For some reason on my first attempt I picked up the progression quest about Red living in Braith's Den without being married before I had even encountered Red Riding Hood. This lead to multiple quest choices once I found her that were not supposed to happen yet . Second attempt at this quest only having the choice to find the werewolf, without picking up the progression quest at the village, went smoothly and I completed the quest line. Kondul Initiation: I was able to get through most of this until the Nordic Ruins where I ended up at the Strange Cave with a Spriggan Keeper and no dialogue and no exit. Jumping out of that cave area (climbing out the way I came) and falling off the invisible bridge that lead me there, just dumped me into another cave with Ethrane and Moira with no quest dialogue and no way out. Could not complete. Fortunately I could port out using the spell. So in lieu of the above working I tried the option to start the end ritual via the MCM. . I realize the author has a warning to "use carefully". This worked fine, to the point of the beheading and dining on the Dibellan Priestess, but then failed once the Hungers show up. There is a choice at this point to go near the Hungers and talk to Katalia. This was confusing; I first went to approach the Hungers but Katalia doesn't follow so I talked to her and this resulted in a sex scene. I went down to the Hungers after this scene with no result and Katalia still doesn't follow. I could not complete this. The Sybil Quest; I went through this whole quest line, bringing the new Sybil (Fjorta) to the ceremony spot. The ceremony party showed up and each did their thing with her and then it stopped with no end result. Once they were done with her they all just stood around with no end and no further dialogue, Fjorta was still looking to be delivered to the Dibellan Temple and I had to take here there in order to get rid of her having no other option. No completion on this one either. Despite the results above a lot of the other quest lines have worked just great and were very enjoyable, it just seems to be the bigger ones, interlinked with other mods that seem to have glitches. There were also some minor inconsistencies like quest dialogue not disappearing after a particular quest was completed such as the quest to bring Romula San to the village; the choice to introduce her to the chief remains after she has already joined, etc. Freeing Medanach; I went trough this whole quest, freed Medanach but when I attempt to report this to the chief, who gave me the mission, there is no dialogue to close it out with him. Again, could not complete.

A good half of the quests also don't have quest markers (they will sometimes randomly appear though)/ My main issue is with the shamanic ceremony. First Ethrane wouldn't have sex with her wolf so I had to do the short version of that part of the quest and now I'm at the ceremony and at first most of the people came but the rest did not (even if I waited with T). Then after that I reloaded and it was only me and Katalia sitting at the tree and no one else came. I often have to reload 10+ times before a scene works.

Yep, It need a review, but I don't have time for this. NMM and DP are my priorities... That's strange... on my side, the bugs appears only at the chapter 4 of the mod... chapter 2, including the ethrane sex scene with her wolf, and the shamanic ceremony, works well... Check if a character is trapped in a scene...

I added also some objectives. Cruel raiders : they don't enter because they are trapped in a scene outside (the girl who fuck the dog)... I removed the useless trigger, add a setstage(30), There is a scene in the brothel to force styr and his friend to come in... but if they're trapped outside by a scene, they'll never come... there is a true risk they can be block in the previous quest final scene (depend of what you chosen : i recommand you to kill yourself the farmer girl, she have debug script linked on her) Can you give me details about the koldun, hagraven and primal initiations quests ? AFS1Begin : Katalia conditionnal dialogues modified. Arachne's quest : at first view, scripts in dialogues are missing, or corrupted. I'll change them. A new Sybil for the Old gods : you need to start the sybil quest in Markarth temple. I'll add the info in an objective, and specify it. The script at stage 40 really sucks (AFS is my first mod after all !). I made a modification in Hamal dialogue, it shoudl work now. I add also more objectives (where is Fjotra, where is Sigorn) Vulkos lesson : ok, there is no virgin blood in the game ! Only two scripts use it... I'll add one into the cheat chest, and one into a merchant chest. I could also add it at the end of the virgin and dragon quest. The Girl and The wolf : talk to Sicambres forworns... no link with Vulkos or Vulkos quests. Romula will become a Sicambre. She'll appear again in the Primal shaman quest line. She talk at stages between 80 and 100. Did you got the message about Katalia smell ? The Sybil Quest; This quest can have glitchs during the ceromony due to the huge number of actors raping the poor Fjotra... The kldunic ceremony works better than the primal one (creature framework causes that, I guess). Freeing Medanach; Surely a problem in the script... this mod is old, some scritps really sucks... I found a little time in my schedule, and I have no more ideas for Deadly Pleasures... So, I decided to spent it on fixing/update/refresh my old mods. I made an update for Deadly Traps and Curses (now cureses are truly a pain in the ass). And now, It's time to work a little on AFS. I'll use your notes (reunited in that post) as a base for my work.

Great story, and it adds to a vanilla faction that didn't seem to have much depth in the vanilla game. Well done, and thanks for the hard work. As someone who worked on a game within secondlife, looking at lines of code, and working out a bug that may create 20 more is soul crushing work. I can truly appreciate your time and effort, especially when you don't get compensated to put up with critique, where as I ast least got commission on the amount of stuff I helped to develop sold on the market. I appreciate a good story over fetch n sex quests, and this adds a lot of content and choice. Great mod. In short, you rock and thank you!

npd732 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 The mod is still crashing Skyrim outside of BrittleShinPassExterior01. The problem appears to be with placed object 000A9916 referencing 000A9915 AFS3RepQuestWild_GiantTrigger. Removal of this trigger from the cell allows it to load normally.
H Bof Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I'm having an issue where I download AFS 2.2 test.rar and my file converter (bitser) says it's an unsupported archive and NMM just says that it can't be added if I try to install with that. I don't see any other main files that I might have to download, any suggestions?

The script in the CK is ok, so it should work... Check if the quest stage is corrupted... You can also stop the quest, and use the MCM to trigger one of the ways quests.

I only get as far as receiving the note that the East Empire is hiring, but Zenoby gives no dialogue option for getting hired. Truth is i am really good at fubaring anything with computers if i mess around on my own. Any advice or help getting her to talk to me?
hioluy Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Hi! Regarding CTD in the area north of brittleshin pass. I tried to exit the pass (on the north side) to no avail with AFS 2.1 -> CTD. Tried 2.2 and the same CTD behaviour. Went back to 1.9 and I managed to load the exit of the pass successfully (twice). Just wanted to mention it. Appreciate the excellent work! Regards hioluy
