Yes

 

Have you verified you aren't missing a mod using TES5EDIT or LOOT?

 

Because a missing required mod is the single most common cause for this kind of crash. (I should have said that in the last message).

 

I feel really stupid...

 

I overlooked the obvious importance of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and thought I had already installed it a long time ago but turns out I didn't. Sorry about that.

So in the College of Winterhold there's a guy that sold a family heirloom to Enthir, and Enthir refuses to reverse the sale. If you do this quest, Solutions adds an option to get the item back with sex; and the sex works fine, but afterward no family heirloom; I still had to go talk to Enthir again, trigger the vanilla quest and get the heirloom back the old-fashioned way.

 

Anyone else has had this problem, or is it just me? And if so, anyone figure out what the problem was? Or is it bug in Solutions itself?

I am having a bit of a problem (and yes I tried looking through the fourm for an answer). 

 

The image pretty much explains it's self, but as you can see, despite me having USLEP installed, Solutions doesn't recognize it in the reproccer. (In the plugins menu it says it does however) My version of the Unofficial patch is a fresh download.

Okay, tried a solution with sex to get Mikael off of Carlotta's back; again, the sex animation played, but the quest doesn't get updated. So, apparently none of the sexlab solutions to quests work properly. Anyone have an idea?

You've tried two quests and want to write off the whole mod... that's been in use and unchanged for a couple years with no other complaints like yours?

 

I'm not sure what is going wrong, but I wonder if the mod just doesn't work on SSE for some reason.

Version 5.0.7 released.

 

- Added event for Jorgen in Pieces of the Past.
- Orc players no longer get dialogue to Orc stronghold event by default, as they're already Blood-kin.
- Added MCM override to start the Orc stronghold event for players that are already friendly to the tribes.
- Fixed inacessible dialogue when asking the bounty hunter to go somewhere private.
- Revelers no longer randomly walk away from free sex.
- Updated deprecated animation hooks.
- Removed USLEEP dependency. For good this time. Probably... I don't even know at this point.
- Minor tweaks to the animation selection algorithm.

That's happening probably because I'm still using dinosaur-era animationEnd hooks, and the SexLab framework for SSE might not support them anymore as they're deprecated. I've updated the mod to use the new hooks now, let me know if that fixes your issue.

An alarming number of people seem to have all sorts of USLEEP related problems, so I'm just gonna bite the bullet and axe it. Latest version should no longer give you or the people using SSE any more headaches.

Weird, because over in the SSE Sexlab page it said the Solutions 4.02 should work, but the newer ones wouldn't, so I'm just going to see what happens with the newer versions.

Version 5.x was incompatible with SSE because of a mere technicality: the unofficial patch it requires isn't the same you need when playing SSE. This is the main reason why I decided to drop the dependency, since at this point it's less effort to manually check for inconsistencies against the unofficial patch on every new version, especially with how infrequently I update.

 

With that said, the deprecated animation hooks were present in both 4.0.2 and 5.0.6, so if other people using SSE + Solutions 4.0.2 aren't having your issue, then there's something more to your problem we haven't figured out yet.

I'm not using SSE and haven't had too many other problems.  Are the "tweaks to animation selection" just handled in scripts that I could copy over the originals? I made a number of dialog edits to the esp that I'd rather not have to chase down.

It was just a small correction for the animation builder in SSv3Handler, if you haven't recompiled that script then there's nothing to worry about.

So as everyone pointed out options added by SL Solutions are not advancing quests in Skyrim SE. I got random encounter that starts Bovine Salvation and tested it with 4.0.2 and 5.0.2 and both don't advance quest after dealing with giant. Animations play, but SSv3_GiantCounter is still 0 after deed is done.

 

So I think either SexLab Light doesn't have "orgasm counter" (or something like that) or does it in different way due to lack of fully functional SKSE and Solutions are made using old way.

 

For now be careful when choosing. Make sure that Solution you chosen does not block of vanilla way of solving quest. I know that becoming thane trough solution is impossible and blocks quest. You have sex with Jarl and he does not recognize it and you are stuck in loop. You ask him again and again and he just uses you like plaything without fulfilling his promise (new option to implement with Devious Devices?:love:)

 

Now I save before any solution now and then after sex I chose vanilla option.

Love this mod and have used it for ages. I'm playing a new character now after a fresh install - a male character for the first time in ever - and I've run into an issue with the Valtheim Tower bandit toll: my male PC goes through the sex animation with the bandit, the money exchange happens after the sex, and then the bandit attacks me and the whole place goes aggro. I'm playing with cutting room floor for the first time, but I have SL Solutions at the end of my load order. It's not a game breaking bug, but it's a shame nonetheless.

It might be the base toll bug, where another bandit patrols close enough to spot you during sex, and that causes the aggro.

reason i ask is that the bandits (any bandits actually) have different classes (even in vanilla) and bandit ranged types (from what i have seen) have a larger aggro

the base toll bug occurs when a bandit "spots" you in passing (not first but actually during the scene with the "toll collector" and before it is completed) and to make it

further complicated any mod that increases bandit abilities (in any way even by boosting levels) makes this more likely to occur.

 

from what i have seen (while playing the game) vanilla breaks bandits into types - melee, magic, ranged (from smallest to largest aggro ranges).

so it is possible to hit the bug (even in a straight vanilla game) where the "toll collector" starts his/her scene, and another bandit (probably with a larger aggro range) can

actually "spot" you during the scene, and after the scene they all end up in aggro on the pc.

 

i have Deadly Wenches running and this particular mod makes that bug way more likely on my game.  walk up and a regular bandit is the "toll collector" and it just about

guarantees that i will hit that bug. "toll collector" spots me and starts scene (no other bandits have aggro at this time), scene starts, another bandit "spots" me (during

the scene), scene ends and all bandits now have aggro.

So I had v4.0.2. and I had the same issue that many had reported (animation plays but quest does not complete). Well I upgraded to this latest version and now after I choose the SL Solutions dialogue, my player (and the target NPC) both strip but just stand overlapping one another. The audio plays but no animation. Once it finishes, the quest updates. 

I installed correctly and updated FNIS (not even sure if it's required). Additionally, I am  playing on SSE and also have SL lite, SL Pleasure, and Animated Prostitution. All of these other mods function correctly. 

 

Is anyone else having this issue or is there something obvious that I'm just missing?
