*04/30/2015 - Removing the beta tag on the file, since apparently users didn't reported any problem. Files are unchanged.
0.2 is the last version and should be considered stable.*

Version 0.2 : download both files and install PotionsReplacer.7z, then PotionReplacer_PatchV0.2.7z

01/10/15.

01/11/15. Thanks to cornbreadtm for the perma patch (added to the download page). Please read instructions inside the archive.
09/14/17. Thanks to Turija for the Requiem 1.9 patch
It seems that there is also a SkeRe patch on DragonPorn , but I don't know if it's compatible with a non-japanese Skyrim installation.

This is a potion replacer. It replaces almost all vanilla Skyrim potions with custom meshes and textures. The meshes comes from the most excellent mods "Alluring Potion Bottles v3 by jbvw" for Oblivion and "AOF's Potion Replacer" for Morrowind. Many of the potions are animated.

Only vanilla Skyrim is covered. Potions from extensions (DG/DB/HF) and other mods are left alone.

The mod is provided in two versions. Use one or the other.

1) Vanilla skyrim potions, with changes forwarded from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (Version 19-2-0-8a)

2) Requiem 1.7-3 / Requiem Hard Times / Requiem Extended Patches Beta 0.2. That's what I use. This version needs Dawnguard.esm and Requiem.esp as masters. There is also a patch for Requiem 1.9.4.1.7

There is also a patch for perma, courtesy of cornbreadtm. See the download page.
This mod has no scripts and can be removed safely at any time (or at least, it should...).

Requirements :
--------------

Nothing
Requiem 1.7.3 for the requiem version.

-Notes
------

Incompatible with everything else that modifies the potions. Compatibility can be achieved by making a patch with Tes5Edit. I will not make those, so don't ask.

Must load late. Looks like LOOT will sort it correctly, but it depends of your setup. In doubt, put it in the bottom of your load order.

-Credits
--------

As far as I know, all authorizations for the meshes and textures used are given by their respective authors. I hope I forgot no one.

These look really nice, but when installed I seem to be missing some textures. This has no dependencies correct? The cork texture and some textures for skooma are missing. I'd assume more, but that's just what I noticed

Hi!

I have the same problem ....

Thanks for the report, there is probably some dependency that I missed, I'll issue a patch in some hours.

Two things...

First, what is Requiem? You could provide a link to the requirement. c:

Secondly, will this replace potions created at the alchemy table?

Requiem is a Skyrim overhaul. It's not a requirement for the mod. Use the vanilla esp.

It will replace the potions created at the alchemy table with the same limitations of vanilla Skyrim (that is, one potion mesh for beneficial user-made potions, and another potion mesh for user-made poisons).

I'd very much like to assign different meshes for user made potions based on effects, but I don't believe it is possible, even with scripting and SKSE. If someone knows a way, I'd be happy to hear about it.

Oh about time someone did this :). The "Alluring Potion Bottles" from Oblivion were definitely great :).

If you finish it here think about putting it on Nexus too :)

Unfortunately, Nexus policies are way too constraining for my taste. So it will stay here, where monocled people can find and use it.

Anyone who wants to share it on Nexus can upload it there and take the ban if a problem arise. I just don't want to have anything to do with it :)

dude great job i allways wanted something like tihs

Thanks.

Bravissimo!

But in terms of all the bottles? :)

Thanks. I use Silly Level of Detail - Wine Cellar -- SLOD WC by Narmix (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4260/?)which suits me fine. I have no plan for the bottles.

Just a question... this mod uses an .esp??

At least that is what I understand, but, what the esp does exactly, I mean, I think you can just replace the meshes, and all the potions will change or not??

Using an esp allows for more variety and easier definition of potions (by using texturesets)

There is no scripts involved, so it's possible to remove it at any time, or merge it with other similar mods.

I am playing with Perkus Maximus, and most of the bottles / potions not replaced:S

Is there any way to solve that?

It is almost like Skyre, surprisingly ultimate potions are retextured, but minor healt / magicka potions are not.

Since Perkus Maximus modifies potions, a patch is needed to have both Perkus potions stats and my potions meshes/textures.

If you load my mod after everything else, you should get my potions models, but Perkus Maximus will not be applied.

It looks great! Unfortunately I also am having some problems.

I have these problems with pretty much everything. I went into qasmoke and looked in there. All covered potions in there ether showed up with missing textures or did not show up at all; like the meshes were also missing. I tried dropping them all and they still either had missing textures or were invisible.

I did not check user made potions yet.

They look really beautiful though! I wish they worked for me. :(

You should have the following :

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data\meshes\00potions : approx 4.84 Mb

Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\00potions : approx 66.9 Mb

And potions.esp, preferably way down your load order.

If you're using potions.esp without the meshes\00potions and/or textures\00potions folders then you should have what you are describing. Otherwise, I don't know. Please provide more info (screenshots of some potions with missing textures maybe ?)
