A Noob does: Bodyslide 2, HDT conversions [HALTED]

UPDATE 19-December-2014: Hey people it's me Noob and I got some bad news for you. it seems that all the armors that I have converted up till now has been done in the wrong way and you might encounter some large neck and wrist gaps if your playing it on a low weight slide. I know how to fix this problem but it will take some time to do all of them so just leave behind a message on what armor you want fixed first and I will get on it.

 

How to fix the armor by your self!

1. load the xml file of the selected outfit

2. delete the body in the outfit in outfit studio.

3. "save as" the outfit and make sure to tick the "copy reference shape into output" box

4. $$$$$profit$$$$$

 

Hey people it's me Noob and I got some bad news for you. I've decided to halt all conversions until Project CITRUS is completed (or if i get good at Blender or 3DS Max). the reason why I decided to wait until CITRUS is complete is because I think I can do a better job at converting different armor body types to CBBE armor bodytype  and as a result make better quality conversions. Also I think I burnt myself out by converting too many armors at once. I won't stop converting I think I will be uploading my own personal conversions every now and then but for now conversions will stop. Thanks for all the support you guys gave me and I had a lot of fun converting armors. so until then good bye and sweet dreams you beautiful bastards.

Hello there fellow LoversLab members I am here today to announce you some thing not so big called "A Noob does: Bodyslide 2, HDT and TBBP conversions" and the aim of this blog is to convert armor that people have requested into Bodyslide 2 and add the HDT and TBBP bones into them. and here are the 4 easy steps on how to do it!

 

edit: decided to stop supporting TBBP because HDT and TBBP are basically the same and HDT is better.

 

Step 1: send me a request on this blog. tell me the armor or clothing name and add the link if possible, the name of the creator of the armor or cloth is also appreciated.

 

Step 2: I might contact you if the armor/cloth is to be being converted.

 

Step 3: wait for the conversions to be done.

 

Step 4: Profit!

 

also please don't send CHSBHC request they are impossible to do with outfit studio.

Damn right, I would also totally watch. While I've done a few conversions on outfit studio myself for personal use (usually from CBBE or something else to UNPBO) it would be great to see how others have done it.

 

Also, looking forward to any conversions, but I have no requests as of now :D

do you have any idea what videos a new noob would like to see?

 

how long should the individual videos be? 1-hour, 30-min, 10-min?

I'm not too sure if I can do that, I don't have a way of contacting him so sorry, I prefer not to put up other persons mods with out their permissions first.

do you think crediting them without telling them would be enough? because if that's the case I would do it.

I just added the TBBP and the HDT bones to it.

there should be three options called misogi, Misogi TBBP ver 4 and Misogi HDT ver 3.

okay so I am running in to some issues right now.

 

Issue 1: while I was converting an armor I deleted the bbp bone for it so that I would have a non-bouncy version but if i delete the bbp bone a neck seam comes out and I dunno why.

 

Issue 2: for the HDT and TBBP breast bounce the breast always clips through the armor while jiggling and I dunno why. you can see this in the two armor mods that I have uploaded above. "the joy and curse of HDT, TBBP with bodyslide" me - 2014

 

Issue 3 : the model of the armor can't seem to fit in the body model so when ever I crouch or do some animation the armor model does not expand properly and the PC body mesh comes out and I dunno why?

 

Issue 4: for some extreme body preset the armor can't  expand large enough for the body texture to fit in with the armor so clipping happens and I dunno why~.

 

Issue 5: who stole my sweet roll?

 

If you can answer any one of these questions them please answer them because it will be a great help and will be credited on the first post forever~.

 

Especial number 5. All other questions compares to nothing before number 5

this conversion have a slight neck seam issue to it. it seems that converting a bbp armor to non-bbp armor is causing the neck seam to happen.

also clippings too.

 

if anybody can fix these problem please help!

The bone weight copy of Outfit Studio isn't perfect. You can try the "Mesh Rigger" scripts, they can also do a weight copy for you. They should be a bit more accurate, but also not perfect: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta89f-10-26-2014/

 

Perfection you will only get with 3ds max (or similar) and maybe a bit of manual tweaking.
