Vivi, thanks for the update! 

 

I just used one of your caves over the weekend to shoot some stuff.

Vivi, did you end up putting this up and I missed it? The pictures look great :)

 

 

 

Just wondering if anybody would be interested in a small modification I made for a rogue mage/necromancer style character using The Reach cave.

If yes then I am going to publish it as a separate standalone mod. I know it's cheap and It's not final yet, but this is how it looks now.

look like normal Forsworn ones but they are not, they are much higher up the thighs as the normal ones, do you maybe recall from which armor mod these are ? (it's not the mercenary ones used on the newer screenshots)

I have no idea where I got those boots XD I searched high and low back to my 2012 Skyrim files (yes I am a hoarder...) and nothing. I even searched for the exact size of the file in case I renamed it to be a replacer, but nothing. I can upload them if you want them, but really don't know what mod had them.

 

 

thanks a lot for searching ! appreciated! leather and fur fit perfectly for a beastess and I was always looking for some thigh-high variants, but I assume these are boots for 7BB  so they possibly look strange with my CBBE body, so no need for you to upload them just for me, will wait for your cave mod V6.0 including your Beastess as stand alone follower  :D.

thanks! these boots are definetly not vanilla Forsworn ones , as I said, they are much higher up the thighs, looks good from front, but sadly some major clipping from the back.

anyways thx and was worth a try :)

That they are an uneven length might make them easier to find.  Clipping might be due to them being based on a different body type than you have, or the top chest armor.

 

What house is behind you? It looks like a hearthfire one, but the beehive, smelter and little shack are unique.

I know these are just some variants of the vanilla Forsworn boots (just higher up the thighs), but I don't know from which armor mod and so far I have not found them (what does not mean anything as I have very limited time doing such stuff). I use a CBBE body and Vivi who was so kind to provide the nif files a 7BB so clipping is normal, I just again need to find some time to adopt them to CBBE.

 

The house on the screenshot is the main location of Carabosse's awesome Bestial Essence mod which he sadly never finished (v0.3) so far. I can highly reccomend it (if you are into such dirty stuff :) )and maybe he can answer your question on which house variants etc he has used in his mod.

When you complained about the clipping I wasn't sure if you knew why, but I probably should have known from your other comments.

 

I had played the Bes Es mod but never saw the stuff around back. Either that was added in 3 which I don't think I played or just mentally ignored it which is also quite possible.

 

Regarding the boots, I thought that if someone was looking through screenshots of armor replacer mods that the uneven height of the boots would be a quick visual clue and someone wouldn't have to look too closely at other details. Other boots in a whole replacer  mod might also be uneven (fur at least, but leather or steel might have up-to-the-knee and then a single thigh plate) and that would help you find them.  I have seen other mods with uneven leg covering but they've mostly be single outfit unique mods, not replacer textures for already in game armor.

Not that I am aware of. I have it loaded in my SSE, but yet to actually use one of the 'homes', so I can't comment on stability.

 

I haven't changed it to form 44. Then again I don't convert any form 43s.

I know I'm a bit late, but I only just discovered this little gem while searching for the perfect lair for my feral vampire. 10/10, must-have mod for any non city dwelling character!
