I only converted it for Skyrim Special Edition, and have shared it with you with her permission.

This mod adds a series of caves to the world of Skyrim.
I made this mod for my Beastess, because I couldn't find a home that suited my needs.
It was designed for simple wildling characters, so don't expect underground strongholds, just empty caves where you can sleep and store some items.

 

The poster girl is not included ^^

The mod is using only vanilla assets. You don't even need DG or DB.

 

 

Spacer_Conflicts.png
The mod will conflict with any mod that alters the areas where the cave entrances are.

 

Enhanced Landscapes does block the entrance to the Whiterun cave.
Undeath reportedly blocks the entrance to the cave in Falkreath Hold.

What's New in Version 5.1

Released January 24

  • v5.1 - Script included this time.
  • v5.0 - A new cave in the Rift. Also fixed some clippings in the 3rd cave.
  • v4.0 - A new cave in Falkreath Hold.
  • v3.0 - A new cave near Red Eagle Redoubt.
  • v2.1 - Navmesh fixed in both caves. Followers should be able to enter now without any issues. Also cleaned the mod of dirty edits. More or less at least.
  • v2.0 - Added a new ice cave. I went on with the more authentic version, so no cooking pot and alchemy table in the caves, but I added 1 chest (half buried in the ground) and 1 more sack to the first cave. I recommend a clean save if you are upgrading.

Mostly for that first concern.

No, these equate to places like dungeons, Though if I'm not mistaken its possible to leave people there with a combination of mods and create campsites inside with other mods but I only remember doing that in LE and that was years ago, so I don't know exactly if its possible now without opening cathedral for a few mins.

 

as for leaving kids there, nah that would require an addon or something, though I like the idea.
