Hi all, maybe lame question - but how I can effectively deny a Tryout? I think whatever I choose results either in either consent or rape sex. And what I really want is to cut off their headz :) How an avatar can survive the "prompt"? Great mod, btw - it adds realism which you cannot find in the politically correct games.

Go into the console and type CAM, then chop away

Having trouble with run good springs run i chloroform them but joe cobb wont end the quest its counts them as a militia target any ideas?

When you post a support request like this... you need to have

Load order,

Steps you did in the game before your problem,

Make sure you are using the latest mods and updates.

 

The above is just a few needed pieces of info for anyone to even begin to help.

look at the quest markers

 

1 for the doc

1 for the dog

1 for the old man pete

Just wondering if there's an easy explanation why when I try working (in the Primm casino for example) my female followers get sexed all the time, but my PC never does. Opening the console, it's showing rolls to see if NPCs should approach each of my companions, but there aren't any rolls for the PC.

Either it has been designed that way,

Luck of the draw,

or a script is slightly off in favor of your companion when using one.

 

All three Loogie can check :)

My current steps are make a new game did all of the tutorial with Sunny went and killed Ringo talked to Cob/waited to kill Ringo after talking to Cob
i then go to nab Sunny & Trudy and then once they fight the town it still gives the quest markers for Sunny and Trudy im going to go back and check all my mods for updates i also don't have the dust stuff turned on i just attached it anyway in case of conflicts

The load order in the future or large bodies of text can be placed in a spoiler.

 

You can create a spoiler by doing the following

 

[spoiler ]  insert whatever you want from photos to text

 

 

^ note the above spoiler has an added space after the r. you can't do that it is only there to allow you to see the code. :)

 

Hopefully Loogie or someone can shed some light on this. I never had that issue or am aware of a fix.

Im sorry for the spoiler issue but i seem to have fixed the mod by talking to Trudy and exhausting all dialog with her then using chloroform and now it works

Was just wondering...I'm using the Sunny Tryout companion, and while I was able to recruit her and her outfit and bodytype are changed properly, she doesn't have any Sexout related dialogue option. Is the content only to tie her into the Run Goodsprings Run scenario? Do I need to use some form of generic dialogue sex for her?

Hello. I've recently encountered an issue with this mod during the "Walk of Shame" quest. Upon bringing sunny to Eddie at NCRCF, the gangbang starts as normal, however, after Eddie finishes, about 50% of the time, Scrambler doesen't go after the player. In the 50% that he does, the next unnamed powder ganger rarely follows up, and in the only time I've gotten that far, the scenario freezes there. Control is returned to the player, and all actors in the room act like nothing has happened. I can talk to them, but they treat it as though nothing is out of the ordinary. I've tried re-installing the Sexout core and Tryout mods, with no success. This quest worked fine in a previous playthrough, so I suspect there may be a conflict in my mods somewhere, but I haven't added anything that touches NCRCF or the Powder Gangers so I'm not sure what may be causing this. I've included my mod load order in the spoiler tag below, as exported by FOMM. My usual Google-Fu hasen't come up with any answers, so any help is appreciated.

Disable the setting in spunk that lets sex act participants orgasm at different times.

 

I'll give it a shot and get back to you. Thanks.

 

EDIT: And it works. No idea why that of all settings would break the event scripting, but this is why I'm not a modder. Thanks for the help, mate.

The timing on the gangbang scripts relies on everyone not being locked by Sexout at the same time, and asynchronous orgasms breaks that.

Hello, guys, sorry, but how remove this fucking "On Bender" effect!?( Carnahan is not helping... How do this with the console?

 

What happens you try to get Carnahan to make the antidote?

The effect is coded in the plugin to last for 604800, which is effectively forever. For comparison psycho and radx last 240. You can use the console command "dispel XX04AB02" (XX being tryout's plugin hex number in your load order).

 

Bender is also not particularly more addictive than the vanilla drugs so you're not necessarily gonna get addicted the one time you get injected with it, especially if you have perks that reduce your addiction chances, but in the even that you do, and you dispel it, you will actually suffer the side effects of the addiction, which are actually pretty harsh as they should be.

 

I would recommend launching FNVEdit and editing the duration yourself either directly in the plugin or as mergeable patch like the one I'm attaching, though I set it to 60 myself, though I didn't reduce the duration on the secondary "Usage Monitor Effect" as I don't know what that's for and I fear if edited it could break scripts related to the quest.

 

Should you decide not to bother altering the duration or dispelling it, bender is effectively a free +1 charisma with no side effects.

 

you can use the dispel command to clear the bender effect. The on bender effect is actually beneficial, but well, I already explained all the stuff up there.

 

I also added patch on my original quoted post.

 

Also the quest stalls depending on if you're actually addicted to bender or not, so if you're not addicted then console yourself a few more doses until you are addicted and then dispel the on bender effect.

Okay, so two things are going on here.

 

Bender is set to last for 7 real days - 168 hours of play with no waiting. I'm about to put out an update where it's 7 in-game days, or a little over 5 hours without waiting.

 

Second, Carnahan does clear the addiction. It's setup so she tells you she's administering it directly to you. It's all written to be implied that it's happening and I don't have any kind of message popup, so if you have English as a second language it wouldn't be clear if you've been cured. If you have you have English as a first language and are not giving the conversation your undivided attention, it may not be clear you've been cured. I'm changing the dialog sequence so it's more obvious. That and a couple other bug fixes should be out tomorrow.

Nothing going there's no the cut-scene, and no add effect. Just the dialog.

See my message right before this. She cures the addiction, I just didn't write in anything telling you she did. This is coupled with the fact that the drug is set to last for 7 real days. I'm going to put out and update tomorrow; all you should need to do is update Tryout and wait for 5 in-game hours once it's out.
