We're trying. It's hard to make good weights for this as the base shape is CBBE and the morphs are UNP -> weights reacting differently to different shape.

The arms *might* be improved already.

I suppose then it should rather be weighted for the most popular UNP / 7B shapes, but i understand that there might have to be compromises.

Try the UUNP v1.10c it is in the download section....

I cheated like a mofo and turned a DG1 body into a CBBE shaped body then used mesh rigger to do a bone copy at the skin, vertices, and uv... turned out pretty good.

LONG STORY SHORT = UUNP UUNPHDT and UUNPHDT+ all now have DreamGirl Vanilla bones (with the HDT bodies having the extra HDT bones).

Rolled it thru the twerk animation a couple of times in Max (gotta love a good twerk)....

Also ran it thru the Life like idle animation, as well as Blabba sent over a doggie style animation (all played well and elbows look to be doing better, knee's as well, same with the hips).

Irony - I did this partially back for v1.08 but did it from a dg shape to cbbe shape in mesh rigger (which was not as good as it is this time).

If you want a better bone weight setup... you gonna be shit outta luck cause I coudn't even get it this good on my own (using a combo of Max and OS). Which is why I cheated and I'm happy to say it looks damn good.

Quick test with 1.10c and the 7bUNP preset:

  • First test pose looking good
  • Next pose shows same elbow/crook problem, hand distortion
  • 1st new glitch: several holes in the body
  • 2nd new glitch: outside of the elbow breaks apart

Don't give up, you're on the right way :)

I experienced the holes too when I tried to copy weights to it. As soon as I ran it through Mesh Rigger, the mesh split up in some places.

I'd say the bend problems of the arms and calfs are better though. Those are about as close as you can get (not counting the spikes that exist currently). Maybe try this pose again and compare? http://www.loverslab.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-134589-0-32461700-1422400562.jpg

I'll talk to btn later, maybe he didn't notice the splits or used a different body to test in-game.

As requested the same scene, this time with the 7BO preset:

Hopefully you can see anything in the compressed .JPEGs, because i can barely see shit in the source images.

The poses are from Halo's Poser - HPEXT - set #4, if necessary i can also create new pics with proper lighting.

__________

Another thing that i already reported in post#335:

post-134589-0-50195500-1422713578_thumb.jpg

The listed bodies produce this blocky neck seam, probably some only at low weight.

In this case also at max weight for 7BO.

This can also be seen in the BS2 preview when you rotate the body until you see it, then cycle through all presets with arrow up/down.

A few more random pics to keep the motivation up:

Guess i'm the bad guy now for making the problems so visible ;)

But these are all just standard poses made for UNP bodies, i assume the problem with knees/elbows will also show in regular gameplay. I just very rarely make it beyond the LAL start room before changing/testing a couple of new mods.

Lol at the lol on the low... with a little extra lol...

v1.10e is up... bodies are back to the v1.10 mesh (no more mesh rigger with DG it screws things up badly).

Bones actually came from Blabba's 4.1 beta body (converted to a CBBE shape) and I just did a copy bone weights in Outfit Studio from that Citrus CBBE to the 2 main bodies (HDT and HDT+).

Normally there is a decent amount of over spray when doing that in Outfit Studio, but I got lucky and there was very little.

Irony the elbow is jinky again, this time on the outside of the elbow when it bends past about 45 degree's...

I have been playing with this for hours trying to unkink that elbow... and I'm stopping for the evening.

So Pretty much everything is done, but the damn elbow.

And I muck with that one tomorrow - this will give Cell more time to knock out bugs on his body slide to do list....

Gotta remove two of the scale bones from the non-HDT one and the HDT XML from the HDT one again.

But yeah, that's way better already (except for the elbow).

why is there body.xml and bodyplus.xml install inside the MESH folder from this mod ?

those are the HDT PE XMLs for the HDT and HDT plus bodies.

@cell is the 1.10e version supposed not to have a working plus? had to modify the config.xml for the plus reference to be loadable, after i did that, OS crashed on load of sliders.

//edit: nvm the crashing, i was a noob and used 2.2c instead of the newer version

btw: the issue with tears/holes in meshes was already present in 1.10 final, just discovered them in certain poses.

I removed the Config.xml that came with UUNP in 1.10b, because what's needed in there will be in the main BodySlide archive's Config.xml when the update is out. You shouldn't crash, though.

Did you add this entry?

<Template sourcefile="SliderSets\UnifiedUNP.xml" set="Unified UNP HDT+">Unified UNP HDT+</Template>

Well the 1.10e version has the hdt.xml attached to the non-plus body, which is causing the bounce effect all over the legs again. See the picture series in the middle of post#332, easy to test when you simply crouch and stand up in slow motion (sgtm 0.1 in console)

From what i understand, this was supposed to make the "pussy bones" react to collision, just like on the original 7bUNP body?

I haven't really tested anything with SexLab or other collision yet, so i can't say if and how good that works to justify the hdt.xml attachment.

Hopefully i'll have some testing time later, got a few other things to do right now.

That was simply a left-over of the older body meshes btn2k3 used again to do 1.10e, as I already said some posts ago:

yeah i added the entry, it crashed with 2.2c but works ok with 2.2d, that error was on my part.

btw the belly bulge from #331 is back in 1.10e, it was fixed in the "final" version.

XML can be any where you want it (as long as the nistring points to it).

UUNP v1.10f - Don't ask Don't tell.

UUNP = femalebody_1.nif from Bombshell zip converted to a CBBE shape with the Breast bones removed (all other 7B weight remain the same).

UUNPHDT = UUNP with HDT bones added to it (slight over spray on breast and butt bones, but shouldn't matter)... And yes this time I did not put in the nistring.

UUNPHDT+ = femalebody_1.nif from UN7B zip converted to a CBBE shape (had to add upper arm bones the new hdt bones and , remove breast 1). This one does have the ni string.

So there should not be any seam issues, and there shouldn't be any elbow, neck, ass, knee, ankle, or wrist issues...

Cell is running them thru the different poses in game now.... I ran them thru the Twerk animation in Max and didn't see any issues.

Hopefully this will be done and Cell can add it to the BS download options section...

Edit: Cell had me clean up the over spray on the HDT bodies and I'm sending it to him to check tomorrow.

Bends are looking good now (let's wait for guk to check :P). Only thing I noticed was some spikes when scaling the breasts and butt:

I'll dump the rest of the test pics here, most should not have any glitches but maybe you guys find something i missed.

Visible should be:

  • some arm bend poses for comparison
  • UV problem at feet
  • knee spike in the last 3 pics on a laying pose (no idea how this would look with original UNP)

Starting test now. 2 things beforehand:

  • Hands + Feet categories still have the old sorting (UNP on top etc)
  • Which body exactly is the CBBE Baseshape in UUNP, regarding the slider differences? Basic "CBBE" BS2 preset at max weight? For converting CBBE BS2 presets to UUNP BS2
