So... This mod causes my game to instantly crash when loading (whether it is a new game or an old one). I checked and I'm 100% sure it's this mod, it's the only one to do that. I managed once to start a new game with it, and it crashed when I took a door to Skyrim (alternate start).

Nope, it crashes without Alternative Start aswell.

In case I haven't been clear: When I disable it, the game works, when it's enabled, the game crashes.

There is a strange bug I noticed...not sure if it's been discussed already or not...or if it is my system freaking out...sometimes, when I try to use the SP leveling system, it works fine, giving me levels in skills no problem, but also sometimes the system freaks out in the following way - I press "Level up" and the screen shows "Your destruction skill leveled to 31" but the actual level remains 30. And it accumulates. The further the merrier. At some point later, after feeding the skill some more skill points it starts skyrocketing like there's no tomorow. The screen shows that the skill leveled to level 50 for example, but in fact it jumps 2 levels, making it 52. And so on and so on. I tested it further and at level 100 it gives like 6 points per level up. Im utterly at a loss here and dont know if it is intended that way...I sure would prefer my skills leveling point by point...

It seems I foung out what was causing the halting of leveling up...as obvious as it was...the realistic needs and disseases mod was to blame. It has this "Tired" mechanics, when your character is tired he/she receives 25% less skill experience. And it seems that it impacts the skill leveling of this mod as well. Fucking up the rest of the system this way, obvously...if I try to level up while not tired everything seems fine.

What if you remove everything but this mod? Does it still crash? Sometimes a crash isn't from one single mod but rather two or more interacting in a strange way.

The ideal way to ensure compatibility is to make a new house for her ...

Looking into making a 'Succubus Den' of some sort, I still thought the idea of succubus merchants in towns would be cool tho. I'll have to change around a few plans for the quest-line if I ever get to working on that tho since this would be a major issue regarding.

This is an awesome mod  :)

Any chance of adding a MCM option for permanent stat drain to consensual encounters?

Thanks! I have optional consent drain on my 'to add' list, I'll try and have it in V2.62.

Can't find any of the succubus merchants any help would be much appreciated.

There's only one merchant named 'Samantha' at the moment. You can find her in-front of the apothecary in whiterun (where the well thing is). Note that some mods which change towns are not compatible, working on a work around.

Not sure how it could make your game crash.. Did you try re-downloading the mod? You may have gotten corrupted data when downloading do-to packet loss or something along those lines. Also make sure your SKSE is updated to the most recent version or else it could crash (or just won't work, never tried without SKSE). Only other things I could think of wouldn't be caused by my mod, things like max-mod limit or your character somehow has over 300k spells. If re-downloading and installing the mod didn't work please try disabling everything and starting a vanilla game (No mods, only SKSE/ENB if you must), then only enable what is required for Succubus Heart, at this point the mod will function and you can enable until you find the conflict. If it still doesn't start from a vanilla game then you're missing files and/or didn't install correctly (Not my fault).

There is a strange bug I noticed...

Succubus Heart uses the vanilla leveling function so I don't think I can necessarily fix it without causing a large array of other incompatibilities. It's strange that this happens tho, I guess level values are on a hard coded formula so the level function just runs the formula but I'd imagine multipliers would be exempt since Skill trainers use the same exact function.

Note : trying to upload a new version, interwebz not so friendly to me lately.

I stopped using Open Cities, that thing conflicts with EVERYTHING, it's practically useless on anything but a game without almost a single mod but those with specific patches.

One way to fix incompatibiltiy even so however would be to just put her inside Arcadia's, instead of outside.

V2.61 is up! It's a small update but I felt the optimizations may be nice to have for some people. I have new spells and passives lined up for 2.62 with some more interesting effects.

Special Note : Disable Regen in Act setting may be broken in 2.61, I removed the spell effect when testing and may not have added it back in (can't remember since I've been working on 2.62 for a few days now, sorry!) I've also updated my personal install's SKSE to the newest beta version so if there's issues on other installs this could be the cause.

It's a shame Open Cities has that compatibility issue, I wish someone would re-visit the idea and figure out a new way to create it, I always loved the idea.

My problem with putting her inside the shop is I wanted her to be available at night (Available around the clock) and I didn't want to alter any vanilla values to do so.

Request, disable/enable of the entire mod for MCM menu thing. i like having succubus on some chars but not all. and removing it mess up the load order other other files, and just makes a mess.

Looking forward to it.  What would be even cooler would be the ability to permanently transfer stolen health/magicka/stamina to Followers as well  ;)

Edit: Oops, just discovered it's already in there.  Lots of cool options...

Is there any way to tell how much health someone has without starting a fight while Floating Healthbars active? Does anyone know of a health bar mod that works outside of combat?

Iirc it temporarily puts the PC and the surrounding NPCs in the same faction so they don't fight each other.

I'll take a look, never even knew that mod existed! I tried adding characters to a large faction list but it didn't seem to work all the time, I think something I have running is provoking them even after a character is 'friendly'. I'd say no need for redundancy since there's a mod that does it already but I really want to find a way to integrated it with a new spell, I've yet to find one that stops combat 100%.

It's either only on my side with a mod conflict, or something else, but lately only my Stamina increases from sex. I tried to buy up Health and Magicka gain to 3 on both normal and sperm, and no gain at all, Stamina works fine however.

Also what's the benefit with the potions exactly? I noticed I get the same amount of HeartXP from just eating the sperm as I do from mixing two of them into a potion (10 xp both, so mixing potion gives me half as much as eating it).

Also in the latest version of the mod, again at least for me, may be conflict, no matter what the drain kill setting is on, I can't drain kill hostiles. I got raped by a bandit with it on, and bandit did not end a husk.

I installed this the other day for a quick look and it was fun, good work on the mod there. One thing I did notice, that you might not be aware of, is the spelling on one of the spells.

Currently it's showing in the magic list as 'Creatire Claim' instead of Creature Claim.

It's not a big deal, just pointing it out. Now back to playing with it installed :)

I've found that it can take more than one hostile sex act to kill an npc depending on what your absorb values are. On some its taken three acts to get the kill.

Thanks, guess I was too used to Deadly Drain's Drain Kill option, which AFAIK can one-shot dragons, including potentially Alduin if you play with MCM.

So since I had started using this mod, 2 weird things happened to my character

  • Her health was reduced all the way down to 5
  • Her stamina reduced to 0

I know that there are spells included that allows you to trade health, magicka, and stamina for Heart XP; is that what's supposed to normally happen?

I checked the base value via console, and it was both of those values above.

I thought it would just simply drain my health/magicka/stamina etc for those spells.

My health is normally 385 and my stamina is normally 387. I had to re-add the health through the console.

All stat drain caused by spells you use on yourself in this mod is permanent and affecting your normal stats. Have lots of sex to build them up again.

Ah, okay, thanks for the info, I was panicking for a sec. :)

For the drain issues I'd probably try re-installing the mod maybe? It's working perfect on my current build, I may have messed up a line of code somewhere on release so hopefully next release will fix the issue for you. Make sure all the files downloaded/extracted correctly and you don't have any mods 'locking' your stats.

For drain kill I have it currently set up to check the character's base health so even if they have 0 health they could still survive a drain. I'll be making a kill check option in the future which will check for either base health or normal health.

Haha, woops. Typos are the hardest thing to catch, thanks for the heads up! If you see anything else make sure to let me know.

Sorry for the panic! >.<

I found out what the issue was with only some of the abilites increasing, they don't care about any other increases you have. Say you pour all your points into Magicka and boost it to 400, and you take a perk (SPERG) that gives you +50 health, and your cap is set to 155, your stamina will increase alone until 150, then you get 5 points of health. This means that level, perk or other bonuses to your abilities become worthless, and only way to keep gaining is to not add points in at least one of your stats at all. In previous editons of the mod you were able to increase all abiliies even if you were increasing them via level bonuses as well.

hi

First I want to say how much I like this mod, it's creative and makes the succubus feel more unique.

However there are some things I feel would be good for it, mainly adding some sort of penalty for a lack of sex like a reduction on the players stats by 10 points for every day without sex.

The second issue is separate stat limits. When leveling up I get to increase a stat by 10 and then the limits for the stats increase by five, if I then use an ability to reduce that stat I will not be able to regain my previous maximum. I think it would be better if the limits of each stat was tracked and increased with each level (or perk bonus).

For example:

My mage has dedicated herself to spellcasting and built up a massive maximum magicka (200 at level 10). When trying to improve some of her succubus skills she sacrafices her magicka for xp, but afterwards no matter how much life she steals she cannot get the level of magicka she was used to (limit of 150) although she is capable of exceeding her life and energy limits (they also hit 150) desipte never developing in those areas.

I'm having a bit of a balance issue with a level 60 mage that put all level up points into magicka having 700 magicka, 400 stamina and 400 health. Is there any chance you can put in a MCM option to not increase health/stamina/magicka and only get xp from sex? That would allow me to use the mod even on characters not meant to steamroll the game on higher levels basically.

And yes I know you can use the spells to lower your stats, and that you're probably supposed to, but the current gain sort of makes other sources of stat increases (other mods, perks, dragon soul relinquishment, etc) sort of useless.
