Sacremas Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Yeah getting it as well on latest version, wasn't on the previous one, but can't downgrade because I don't want to kill people with sex accidentally.
TacomancerX Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 request, something like the drain effects form Deadly drains. cause there petty deadly looking . running both would be a little extreme on the drain xD http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1701-sexlab-deadly-drain/
zloiiojik Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 For some reason the stat drain doesnt kill the victim now...for several times in a row now the victims have their helth reduced to zero and then to negative value. But they dont die. I have the kill option enabled, and I even tried all 3 variants just for the sake of testing. I have floating healthbars mod installed and after assault it shows the victim has like 1/-50 health and dies from any singly damage source. And whats more, now the victims continue loose stats even after sex...just run around and loose stats...wierd...Update* - reverted to version 2.3 and everything went fine without any problem. Drains alright, kills alright.
uglykidcid Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 So seriously how stable is v2.53? What is the most stable version? Can I / shoudl I roll back to V2.4? I am really tired of the loading messages that leads me to believe the mod isn't installing correctly.
uglykidcid Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Also if this mod has a kill drain effect is it incompatible or redundant with Sexlab Deadly Drain?
TacomancerX Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Succubus heart does have kill drain, i think it jsut stacks with deadly drain.
Sacremas Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Previous version is stable but conflicts with Deadly Drain, in that it makes DD somewhat redundant. I haven't had any issues with this most recent version other than the installed message that shows up every time, which I can live with. I turn off the drain because I want to decide when I kill someone and then DD works better.
Spirit_Shard Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 The install message is just an error on my end, I accidentally had it set the wrong version number on update so it thinks it's running an older version. Has no actual effect on the mod, everything updates appropriately. I'd upload a quick fix but my internet here is so dodgy it fails even a 20kb upload, I'll try visiting a library or something to upload in the future, working on personal stuff first tho. >.< For some reason the stat drain doesnt kill the victim now...for several times in a row now the victims have their helth reduced to zero and then to negative value. But they dont die. I have the kill option enabled, and I even tried all 3 variants just for the sake of testing. Drains alright, kills alright. Sounds like SexLab is looping and not actually registering an end event, another mod is most likely causing errors (or mine, haven't seen any errors on my end tho). I should also note, Sex Kills only happen if their base stat reaches zero, so they can technically go negative. Essential / Protected NPCs also can't be killed by drain (intentional because quests). So seriously how stable is v2.53? What is the most stable version? Can I / shoudl I roll back to V2.4? I am really tired of the loading messages that leads me to believe the mod isn't installing correctly. Newest version is the most 'stable', if that's even a word to describe my mod in general. Any version beyond v2.0 shouldn't have any stability issues and was build in a way to 'never crash', only thing that would cause issues is scripts being dropped by the engine or papyrus errors from other mods, neither I can fix. I'd suggest the newest version to use, since it has all the fixes, adjustments, and newest content. Also if this mod has a kill drain effect is it incompatible or redundant with Sexlab Deadly Drain? Although I've never used it, I'd say it's a bit redundant other than the instant drain (which is on my 'to-do' list). I don't know tho, with some modified settings I could see them running side by side very well.
Sacremas Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 If you turn off the drain kill and let Deadly Drain handle the killing part then the two mods are fully compatible from what I've seen.
uglykidcid Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 @Spirit_Shard If MODversion < 2.53 debug.Notification("Succubus Heart : Version 2.53*** Installed") SuH_MODversion.SetValue(2.52) This actually seems like a handy way to get your mod to update on load.
MrKrupples Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I really enjoy this mod, but having to artificially keep my character's power under control isn't fun. This mod makes it very easy to have absurd amounts of health, stamina, and magicka, without even leveling up. I like how you have features to use up your own health, magicka and stamina by advancing skills and applying various stat-draining spells, but the player doesn't have to use those options and give up their stats. I find it all too easy to walk out of whiterun at level 1 with 1500 health from fucking people all day and then have to decide how much health I think I should have by spending it on skills. This means that I have too much control of my own max health, stamina, and magicka to feel like I am getting anywhere in the game. It cheapens the natural progression that comes with the non-sex activities in skyrim. Obviously, we all have complete control over our stats at all times in skyrim, because the console exists, but we still don't go around giving ourselves free stats if we want to enjoy the game. I just think that too much access to free, permanent stats is given to the player by the stat absorption features of this mod, and self-imposed, artificial limits to health, stamina, and magicka values aren't a good way to solve the problem, because they make gameplay feel glaringly fake. I think a good solution would be some sort of cap option for health, stamina, and magicka. If the cap could change dynamically through progression facilitated by the succubus activities of your mod, or by player level, or whatever you think would be the most sensible, that would be even better. As it is, using this mod makes the game feel completely pointless, because any obstacle can be overcome by having more sex before approaching it. I think this is a shame, because it also adds so much gameplay value to sex-activities, which are otherwise pointless without this mod.
Spirit_Shard Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 (Note: I've tried posting this like 7 times and just lost connection each time, sorry if it double posted) ... So far it has worked flawlessly, unlike the MCM update function which never seems to work... >.> If anyone is looking for example I just put a script on my player alias and made an onLoad function which calls my MODupdate function (Quest SuH_main, Scripts SuH_main and SuH_main_player) ... The infinite growth factor has always been in my consideration and I know that feeling you're speaking of, in early versions of the mod I had a system that would decay status if you were above a certain amount, amount changed by level. Problem is, the decay only got negative feedback and it broke on several characters. Some people want infinite scaling, and I respect that, but Skryim was never designed with that type of mechanic in mind. I've had a few ideas on fixing it and have been testing a few out but I think I've kind of nailed one down that I like. The system goes like this... Status cap is re-introduced --- Starts at 100 --- Increases by 5 each level-up (so realistically you start at 105 cap) --- Can be increased more with HeartXP (Scaling Cost) Introduce new "Skill Point" System (Working Title) --- When the cap is reached all overflow goes into a point meter --- When the point meter is full it creates a Skill Point --- Point meter requirement will increase as Skill Points are earned (Slow Scaling) --- Point meter can be filled with HeartXP as well --- May add items in the future which can also fill the point meter Notes --- The status cap will be applied on absorption effects only and won't keep you below the cap from outside sources, ex. if you level to level 2 and have 120 Health you won't be instantly dropped to 110 but absorption will only bring you back up to 110 if you go below that amount. --- Most Spells and Passives will be slightly re-balanced based on this change --- Skill Point requirements will increase as a skill's level does (So yes, leveling something to level 20 is still easier than leveling to 100) Luckily I'm currently living in the middle of nowhere and actually have more time to work on my side projects than expected. I even made my own version of a 'combat submit' type mod (like defeated) since I wanted to figure out a few systems (Defeated has also been giving me several issues while testing lately, hope that update shows up at some point >.<). Still may be a while till the update releases tho, getting things to connect out here is a pain in the ass.
TacomancerX Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Skill point name: "Jizz Meter" lol jokes. unless u like it then go for it. glad to have you back
MrKrupples Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I'm really happy that you think that it is worthwhile to work on a stat cap system, and I'm eager to try your take on a combat sex mod! Defeat has so many features, and they do work well, but at the price of what has to be the greatest strain on papyrus of any scripted mod I've ever used.
TacomancerX Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 need to limit (farming on a single target to like 2) kinda like PSQ where they start saying "there dry" and out of juice.
Spirit_Shard Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 After about an hour and a half of trying I finally got a new version uploaded, this comment will probably be a little late since I have to reconnect to post this... (I hate Verison with every ounce of my being at this point) Anyways, 2.6 is out, fairly large update and I didn't get the most time to test beyond the basics so there's probably a few things I missed here and there. The update should go over the old one smoothly even tho I completely removed the old skill leveling system and replaced it with the new HeartSP system (I know, such original naming). 'Combat Seduction' is also in but make sure to note, it's not as advanced or as far along as other 'combat submit' mods like Defeated or Submit. I originally had the system just for easy testing (so instead of having to switch to spells and check values I just made a hit instantly start an act). I wasn't really able to really 'fix' anything that's wrong with the other 'combat submit' mods, may have reduced script lag depending on your system specs but feature wise I can improve it a lot. I do plan on adding in the 'knock-down' thing most mods put in, just felt this update was big enough to release for feedback. I'm currently working on a few spells/passives and a hotkey system for a few things suggested and for combat seduction (Like instantly killing a victim or assaulting knocked down opponents). Other than that tho, check the changelog for all changes (hopefully it changed correctly, internet keeps cutting out >.<) Replies! I'd use quotes but the button won't load... @MrKrupples Was always in the plan from the start to work with a cap, thanks for mentioning concern about it tho, did make me work on that feature sooner than I was going too. As for the combat seduction, read above for my notes on that. I'm looking for feedback on it so if you have ideas throw them at me. @TacomancerX I put the name 'Jizz Meter' in when I was working on it for lulz but I felt clarity was more important, may add in an option for it later, sorry! =^.^= As for an act limit on a target I feel that could be implemented but it would require me to store NPC data and that's never a fun thing to deal with (Well, I could do it with magic effects too but I think that would cause a bit of unnecessary script weight). I also think it's part of the mod to drain a target to death and if you're talking about exploits people could just extend their sexlab timers or just turn off auto-advance and get infinite scaling anyways, good suggestion tho, I'll keep the idea of 'limits' in mind.
TacomancerX Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 don't worry about the name, I was only being silly . but the limiter is something that needs to really dealt with, not really fun being-able to farm stats/skill ranks. well when the hp limiters come might help prevent farming a little
Sacremas Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Everything seems to work, but XP to SP for me is something like 5.000 xp for 1 SP currently. The Xp goes into the ".. to next" column on a 10 to 1 ratio, so if you have 200 to next it'll take 2000 xp at least for one SP. Is this intentional? This is a lot more balanced than before, my skills aren't increasing as fast as they did, and I don't feel the need to have to depower myself quite so much any more. I lost a lot of stuff I'd invested in but I'm good with that if it's more balanced. Samatha is not compliant with Open Cities so I spawned a new one and invited her to the Underground Bathouse, where she continues to trade. I'm figuring she's collecting the stuff off the Bathouse residents. She also had a perfect sperm first time I talked to her, which I bought, made a ring, disenchanted it and put it on four items that I've worn for 20 levels. Really helped me rebuild my character after I had to start over a level 70 character.
MrKrupples Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I'll have to play with it more, but I think you've done a great job with this update. The mod doesn't feel like an alternative to gameplay, but when using mods like Solutions or Defeat, it makes seducing npcs or raping enemies worthwhile. I especially like your essence feature; If I want to fuck an entire inn with the Radiant Prostitution mod, I don't walk out ridiculously overpowered, nor do I cap out on any benefits I might get after a couple of customers. I find that it works very well with all the other sexlab mods I use.
Spirit_Shard Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 @tacomancerX I think I'll wait a bit before implementing more limits an see how the new state fairs. I did try a limit system after my last post so I can get it to work, may just add it as optional. @Sacremas 10 XP gets 1 'essence' which would decrease 'to next' by one, sounds like it's working as intended. I'll update the mcm to show a better description for it. The 'depower' issue is primarily what this aimed to fix, glad it's having a positive impact. Oh sheet, forgot about town alterations, is there a way to make it compatible? The npc and Merchant chest is just placed in whiterun. I'll add the issue under compatibility when I get the chance. Edit : Ninja'd @Mr.kru Thanks! Glad to hear succubus heart makes a good compliment mod.
TacomancerX Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 only thing i would like un-limited cap is stamina or a mucher higher one. i liek to run free and a succubus should have high stamina... for the bedroom

The ideal way to ensure compatibility is to make a new house for her outside of one of the major cities and place her there, like a Succubus Shop that maybe your other NPCs could hang out in and other stuff be added to. If she's inside Whiterun it needs an Open Cities patch or she's gone when loading in. I've asked uglykidcid to take a look at making an Open Cities patch for this and Skooma Whore as well as Immersive Wenches.
EvilUncleEd Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 This is an awesome mod Any chance of adding a MCM option for permanent stat drain to consensual encounters?
ki1456 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Can't find any of the succubus merchants any help would be much appreciated.
