I have SKSe64 and Skyrim SE, so now I have to uninstall that, and reinstall an older version?

What you have to do is read what it says at the SKSE site. It gives you 5 different versions of SKSE and tells you which version of Skyrim each is for. That is why I have twice mentioned Skyrim versions. Saying "I have SKSe64 and Skyrim SE" means nothing.

If you are running MO2 then you need to run SKSE from there. You should run it from Vortex if you use that mod manager.

Let me start this by saying I am not a smart man. I know little to nothing about computers. I used to have SL on my Skyrim and it was ok. Not everything worked but it was enough. This go around I'd like to get it right. I'd like to use MO this time but it sounds complicated. Is there maybe a step by step video for the computer illiterate? I used UUMP(?) last time, still good? This time I would like to do it all correctly with all the bells and whistles. Please help.
