Sagebrush61 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 For me is imposible to become pregnant I installed the mod today in it's acutal form, not updated, nothing special, I didn't change nothimg in MCM until I seen that I do not have succes ... First I tried to impregnate Lydia with a male character (I put al probabilities to 100%, even from anal sex) and she-s ovulating (expand the period to maximum 20 days), but her chance to remain pregnant is maximum 2.78% usually around 1%. Than I switch my character to female , my chances are the same very, very low, and I don't understand why, all my other mods are working fine , I used and activated FISS . !!!!Hell I even tried to run the mod without Sex Animation Framework , but my chances are extremely low , like before Does anyone have some suggestions? You can't become pregnant until the ovum implants in the wall of the Uterus. This is about halfway through the ovulation stage. By setting it to 20 days, you made it so Lydia couldn't get pregnant until after 10 days of ovulation. Set it back to the default of 2 days. Next, those probabilities of Player, companion and NPC are the chance of having a fertile cycle (not the actual chance of getting pregnant), if you have a fertile menstrual cycle, the percentage you see will start rising rapidly right before ovulation stage starts, if Lydia was already ovulating those changes you made wont take effect until the next menstrual cycle. My advice: Load an earlier save game from before you changed the percentages. Don't make any stages longer,that will not help you. If you set the companion probability to 100 % that should guarantee a fertile cycle, but if they are already ovulating or in the luteal phase it wont take effect until the next cycle (that's why you don't want to lengthen the stages, it just takes longer to cycle through and reach a fertile cycle). Then just be patient, it's not broken, it's a pretty accurate simulation of the reproductive cycle, if you have sex at the right stage of a fertile cycle you or your partner will wind up pregnant.

The chance for pregnancy is calculated at the start of the cycle, and any changes during it (excluding changes to duration) wont take affect until the next cycle. So Lydia needs to hit Follicular Phase again, then your change to stats will take affect, then her next ovulation should have a 98%. Also remember that impregnation does not occur until the end of the phase, so if you set it to 20 days, then your male character better have some potent spunk, or the sperm wont last the full phase in order to impregnate her. As a last resort, for your female character, check the debug/cheat window in the MCM (with information setting at Debug or All) and see if pregnancy chance this cycle is even on. If it isn't, enabling it will automatically bump the %chance for pregnancy immediately (if she is ovulating). Can't remember if this window/info is available for NPC's as well.

The mesh Is there in the data file. Thanks For me, it wouldn't show up when I equipped the baby on my wood elf character. When I equipped it on a human character, it showed up fine. Maybe it doesn't show up when equipped on non-humans?

Since I've seen this happening quite a bit I took a look in CK and found neither Dark Elf nor Wood Elf were marked as valid races to equip the baby item/armor. So anyone playing those two races will not be able to see the baby if equipped.

However, I'll be updating it as soon as all child races are available via Beeing Female. I was about to say "RS Children =/= RCOTS" but holy crap, nice to see this mod getting plugin'd up.

magnusx Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I have a rather strange issue. The mod itself works fine, but the "check status" hotkey is behaving in a rather bizarre manner. At some point in the past, I accidentally set the hotkey to "8" by accident, and now that's what it defaults to. Even if I completely re-install the mod and start a new game, that's what the default hotkey would be. I am guessing that this setting is stored somewhere separately, but for the life of me I cannot find where. By itself, that wouldn't be a big problem, but the hotkey does not work properly either. If I press it, nothing happens, unless I have the console (~) open. If I type "8" (even if I changed the key in the MCM menu) into console, the status widget shows up in the background. Has anyone else experienced this issue? "8" is the default hotkey when installed

I used "Immersion" first but after I changed to "High information" the widget made its reappearance.

Slammer64 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 To anyone using the English version of Beeing Female and having problems with children being named "Baby", the trouble is a mis-formatted .json file In the Beeing Female/Names/ directory, try replacing the one I'm attaching to this post and see if it works for you, it does for me. Just backup the old file and then overwrite with mine. Just use 7z to decompress it first. BeeingFemaleNames_ENGLISH.7z
Cymoril Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 i have the problem with german name too You can use the file from Slammer64. Just rename it from "BeeingFemaleNames_ENGLISH.json" to "BeeingFemaleNames_GERMAN.json". Apart from the filename the files do have the same names.

I guess it would be a lot of fun! what do you think?

There was an issue with the baby mesh displayed in the inventory menu. It is originally from Fallout 3 DLC, so BF was disabled by Nexus. I guess it will be available on Nexus again as soon as this is fixed.

What might I be doing wrong? The belly is big sometimes, then after a while it goes flat.

milzschnitte Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 First of all, thanks for finding the "Baby Name" Bug I never ever took a look into the json files.... I thought it was the script ... But right, the last item ends with a " , " but no item is following... and this isn't json conform - so a error will be returned and the fall-back name is used. About the cheating. I havn't set the spouse (and Followers) relationships because there home/location is dynamic and I like realistic things. Otherwise it could happen, that your spouse cheat you with a guy in riften, even when the spouse is in riferwood .... But when the "Couple Widget" will be available again, it will be up to you. Thanks for the Chinese Translation link Will update it!
