Madpaddy Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Hay great work really adds another lvl to Skyrim, would you consider adding fiss support to save the settings for different playthroughs cheers.
redshift87 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 It's too bad this got taken down from the Nexus. I played FO3 and its DLC a lot, and I didn't even recognize the baby as an asset from that game (she's from The Pitt addon I guess?). Oh well. If nothing else, it brought a great mod to my attention that I'm now following on LL! So, the only addon I'm really interested in is one that adds a couple different skin tone options for the baby item, and assigns it based on the mother's race. I think I saw in the Nexus thread before it was killed that someone was working on that, is that true?
Uncle64 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Yes there are some plugins for children. You can find them in the first page.

The imperial and the nord will have the same baby.... Redguard are already included. Right now in progress and almost done are - Orc - Wood Elf - Dark Elf Arginian and Khajiit will follow some days. Maybe I will wait untill the 3 meshes that are in Progress will be done, before I will enable BeeingFemale on Nexus again I'm not sure how I should fix it, but I think I will take the easy way and use the Baby sling as item that will be also droped... even when this Looks a bit crappy I don't want to give Lactina and Vioxsis even more work Hay great work really adds another lvl to Skyrim, would you consider adding fiss support to save the settings for different playthroughs cheers. All I've seen, FISS would be a requirement... I will check it out, but I'm not sure if I will add another requirement.
Cymoril Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 And another patch for Beeing Female... This patch should fix the problems with Estrus Chaurus. Although it is only a small fix I would consider it beta until proved as stable. If the female character was pregnant and got infected by a chaurus after all she will lose the child. If she wasn't pregnant she will get a menstruation. I've made two versions of the script (it is really just the script FWAbilityBeeingFemale). One Version is for Vanilla BF 2.5: The other Version is for BF 2.5 with tampons. P.S.: I hope I made no mistake with the two versions. If you notice any strange behaviour of the patch please report it. Edit: Removed the two files because they didn't work as they should.
aim4it Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 If the female character was pregnant and got infected by a chaurus after all she will lose the child. Isn't that by design? It is a parasite infection after all.

All I've seen, FISS would be a requirement... I will check it out, but I'm not sure if I will add another requirement. How about using JContainers instead? Since it's an SKSE plugin, it doesn't take up an esp slot so once people install it, there's pretty much never a reason to remove it. And many people here probably already have it installed for other mods. JContainers is also how the Violens profiles are handled.
bahamut2119 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I know even if fiss is used as a requirement its possible to make it a soft requirement a few mods i use have it setup like that but if jcontainers is easier to use its probably the best answer most use it tmk.
Madpaddy Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Yeah JC is fine any method to be able to save our settings would be a great help.
017333 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I have a very different question from the norm. So different in fact, that it is probably a little pointless, but here goes for the fun of it. Given that there are female werewolf models, and this is something that the player character can use, would it be possible (strictly in theory) to assign the node scaling that this mod uses to them as well? If your character is a werewolf, I just thought it odd how there is no sign of the pregnancy when transformed. Wondered if there was any way that the werewolf skeleton might be able to support something like that. I happened to notice during installation of the XP32 extended skeletons that there were some additional options, including werewolves and a variety of other creature types. Sooo... It got me to curiously thinking. May not be within the scope of this mod at all, but I figured I'd throw the question out there anyway just for the sake of bringing an unusual possibility to attention. Not so much a request as it is poking fun at Skyrims modding limitations... How far can it be bent?
Kamiakze Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Hello, I'm having issues opening the Couplemaker Widget. No matter how long or under wich curcumstances i press the "E"-Key, it will only open the Dialogue-Menu or respektively the Pickpocketing-Menu upon releasing the key. I have BF 2.5 CANS installed and working, as well as BFAP 1.3 and BF Shops. I know the widget is existent and probably working, since it often shows up upon loading a save, and fades out within about a second. Also, the debug-messages show that things are happeing at night, and some women have been impregnated correctly. I'm only unable to open the widget. Since i couldnt find any posts about this problem, its probably me doing something wrong, yet, what is it? Thanks in advance
milzschnitte Posted September 22, 2015 Author Posted September 22, 2015 I've disabled the Couple widget for now because I couldn't find time to create an "Enable Couple Widget" menu button. But I wonder why it's shown when you load a game... this shouldn't happen.... sorry for that. The widget is working well... but it should be disabled. Normaly you Need to look on a female NPC, .... press and hold E for around 5 seconds... and now the woman is selected. When you look at a male actor now, and press "F", "G" or "H" it would be added to the list ("Friend", "Getaway / Affair", "Husband") Depending on the MCM Settings, the woman will have fun with this NPC... but when husbands are enabled, they will have the highest Chance... Btw, when you select a female actor, it will automaticly search around you for the her husband, when nothing was enterd already But well, it's disabled right now and will be enabled again, when i made the menu Option for disable / enable Since I made a nice File-API in C, there will be a nice Methode to create an "Import / Export Settings" Option where you also can create different Profiles and stuff. I just Need to develop this The files would be json files, and you can crate up to 128 profiles... or lets say, 100.... and you can edit/create them via Notepad or another plain/text editor I hope this will be ok, too. //Edit: but right now, I will add the new Babys to the game... they just arrived
Cymoril Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 After a long nights work it is finally done. Hopefully.... I've edited three scriptfiles for the Estrus patch: - FWPlayerAlias Edited the event "OnPlayerLoadGame" - FWSystem Edited the function "IsActorPregnantByChaurus" - FWAbilityBeeingFemale Rewrite of the state "PregnantChaurus_State" This time I will only upload one patch. It provides tampons for BF and the EstrusChaurus patch in one package. I've created the patch for BF 2.5, it may or may not work with 2.4. I've tested it on my game and it worked. Maybe milzschnitte knows a way to get the reaction faster, but now the proper reaction should be there. Only thing that is still untested is the forced abortion if the character is pregnant. Edit: After a last test with my pregnant player character everything seems to work as intended. Installation: Most likely you will need a clean save for this because the scripts are the core components of BF. After the installation you need to save and reload because the "Estrus-Detection" is inside a OnPlayerLoadGame event. BeeingFemale_Tampon_EstrusPatch.zip
intheshadows8 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Just wondering if anyone else had issues naming their children all mine seem to be named baby lol and it won't change.
reibushido Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I should probably try Jaxonz Renamer with them at some point. So many Jerkins Dovahkiir to be had...
Ragnaroy Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Do we still need the RSC addon or is it automatic in the new update ?
reibushido Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 The addon is still required, and still compatible, with the new version to get RS Children.
new970 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Beeing Female 1.14 Estrus Chaurus Integration Patch V1.01 Hi All, This is a patch for Beeing Female - posted here by kind persmission of milzschnitte. This version has been updated to include Slorm's solution to FWSystem papyrus log spam - Thanks Slorm, great work! This Version supports BF V1.14 Only Required Mods and Versions Beeing Female 1.14 (and it's requirements) Estrus Chaurus+ 3.36 (and it's requirements) The patch fixes handling of Chaurus Oviposition with Beeing Female, the changes are pretty simple (as are my coding skills!). Features Beeing Female will now recognise Chaurus attacks on females and trigger the Chaurus implantation effect Having Chaurus eggs implanted whilst pregnant will KILL the unborn child resulting in a miscarriage starting a few hours after the Chaurus eggs are "Born" Having Chaurus eggs implanted whilst NOT pregnant will result in a menstruation phase starting a few hours after the Chaurus eggs are "Born" The BF timer function bug caused by EC is fixed If you are using devious devices and an actor is wearing a chastity belt/harness they will be protected from the Beeing Female Chaurus implantation effect. To repeat - being implanted with Charus eggs will terminate any current pregnancy. If you don't want to lose that precious baby you probably shouldn't be fooling around in Bug infested caves! Because I am triggering the EC effect from within Beeing Female it operates independently of EC's Actor events framework - this still needs to be installed because it is an EC master but it's use can be safely set to false in the EC menu thereby improving compatibility with defeat or other similar mods. If Actor events is disabled in EC then Sexlab driven events will be the only trigger for oviposition, chastity belts will protect against oviposition and tentacle spit attacks will no longer happen (I am working on another use for tentacles though - more news on that at a later date!) Basically I am writing patches to learn some papyrus scripting and (hopefully) to add immersion - I'm sure it could be done at lot better, but this seems to work. To use install over Beeing Female 1.14 You should see a patch initialised message... (NMM or Mod Organizer recommended for installation! ) For the avoidance of doubt, I am an amateur at modding and this unofficial patch is provided "as is " to use at youir own risk! Bane ___________________ Known Issues None - please report any problems (or success) and I will try and sort them. ___________________ Changelog V1.01 Added Slorm's FWSystem Papyrus log spam fix is there an update for this?
Cymoril Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 is there an update for this? You can use the patch I've created. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/35269-beeingfemale/page-116?do=findComment&comment=1327040 It is for BF 2.5 and has been tested with Estrus Chaurus 4.20a. Since the patch updates the core files of BF you will most likely need a clean save for updating.
Lizzy Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 This has been set on the Nexus as hidden "resolving asset issue" for days now -_- I hope I can get an answer from experienced users of this mod! I have noticed as I've been playing (and my character's pregnant) that the baby's health was quickly diminishing in battle. Healing potions didn't do anything, only finding a really nice modded player home and waiting it out made the unborn baby better after days.. I like to change settings to realistic for immersion purposes, so it was 90 days for the 1st trimester. I'm still on it, and it's so boring that I set 2 days for 2nd and 3rd trimesters 10 days into 90, I'm bored out of my skull! I'm trying to wait 24 hour periods, but then I have I-Need, Bathing in Skyrim and Private Needs on top of that. (there's a mod "Living Takes Time" that I set "24 hours" for creating one potion or cooking one piece of food, it started to burn out my graphics card) I understand immersion purposes mean you can't be attacked while the baby's in the oven, but.. why can't we turn this off? Can we even? I must go out and explore, I'm getting Skyrim cabin fever! Or suggest something to do besides adventuring and sex? I've been using Estrus, very fun! but after a long time that got boring. tl;dr - Adventuring with unborn baby, how?

It has a heal unborn spell I use while adventuring. Works rather well and I've not had problems with it in the newest version of BF. Edit: Found the original post on page 47. Sleepy_Soul stated that a clean save is needed if you are updating from 1.2. Here is the link to the add-on. http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=150385
xTrogdorx Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I was thinking about this mod some time ago when it was added to the Nexus. I'm interested in trying it, but I try to keep my Skyrim reasonably lore-friendly, and the whole contraception/washout fluid part felt... less than lore-friendly. This got me wondering about how women dealt with menstruation and contraception through history. This eventually led me to the "Health, hygiene and personal grooming" FAQ in r/askhistorians. Much of what's there is not relevant to us since it was influenced by real world superstitions and/or religious beliefs that have no presence in TES. However, a few things caught my eye. I thought you might be interested in these suggestions, since you obviously put a lot of time and effort into making the pregnancy part of BeingFemale realistic. Here is a post which discusses physical contraception: Barrier methods for women have included pebbles, which the Arabs used to prevent camels' pregnancies, half a lemon, and dried elephant or crocodile dung. In 1550 BCE, a concoction of honey, ground dates, and acacia tree bark was probably fairly effective, since acacia ferments naturally into lactic acid, which disrupts pH balances. In eastern Canada, a certain aboriginal tribe believed that drinking a tea brewed with beaver testicles would prevent pregnancy. And, then there's silphium, which was a rare but extremely effective "morning-after pill". Of course, it was extinct by the second century as it only grew in a small area of the Libyan mountainside. The concept of "condoms", however, did not come around with vulcanized rubber in 1844. Men traditionally used some sort of sheath, dating back to 1000 BCE. The ancient Romans and 17th Century British did employ animal intestines, as you say (which you can actually still purchase). Egyptians and Italians preferred fabric, sometimes dipped in a spermicidal solution. I thought this response was particularly informative and relevant. So, as far as contraception goes, evidence is pretty sketchy but it seems like prostitutes did make an effort to avoid getting pregnant by various means. One of them was to physically extract semen from themselves after they'd seen one or more clients by wrapping fabric around their fingers and then inserting it into themselves to basically scrape it out. This probably wasn't all that effective for obvious reasons Most other methods were probably based around using herbal mixtures to make the women less likely to conceive, or even make them sterile - people do actually seem to have had pretty good knowledge of herbs and plants which can help prevent pregnancy. John Riddle has written a book on this called Eve's Herbs if anybody's interested. Prostitutes might also take emmenagogues (menstrual stimulants) which had the effect of an early-term abortion if the woman in question were pregnant. In the case I looked at, this is what happened, and it's pretty clear that some brothel-keepers knew how to do this, and that prostitutes were also familiar with the ingredients needed. In this case, the mixture was made up of cloves, Queen Anne's Lace, periwinkle, and strong wine. I didn't come across any mention of women using a 'wash-out fluid'. It seems women either used some sort of mixture or physical device in order to prevent pregnancy, or once pregnant, they used a mixture that stimulated menstruation in order to abort. It's this latter part that seemed to me like it might make for a more lore-friendly mechanic - that once pregnant, you might need to go through sanitary pads like crazy after taking a menstruation-stimulating mixture, as a kind of consequence. A couple more things: One, might I suggest renaming some of the items? "sanitary napkin", "contraception fluid"... these names seem too modern/scientific for the setting/materials used. Two, maybe the knowledge of being able to make the potions should be hidden behind some kind of quest? The "sanitary napkin" is basic knowledge since they were just made from cotton/linen rags or natural sponge, whatever the women had handy. But the player should have to do something to learn how to make those mixtures.
milzschnitte Posted September 25, 2015 Author Posted September 25, 2015 I like the quest Idea, but BeeingFemale won't make use of locations, NPCs, .... When chaning locations, or when I make use of a NPC, there maybe will be translation problems. That's why I made BeeingFemale able to react to other mods and has an own AddOn System. It's possible to create mods for BeeingFemale and gain access to most features.... except Contraception Fluids I will make it possible to create "Disable" / "Enable" features for the fluid so it's possible to learn make the fluids learnable. But well, other NPCs will use this fluid too, to it maybe an alchemist invented the fluids already, ages ago
xTrogdorx Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I wasn't thinking of a quest, so much - though you could certainly add it as a quest reward for the temple of dibella - the knowledge could easily be part of the 'gift' bestowed upon you for returning the sybil. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of putting books or notes in certain places, like behind the counter in inns and alchemy shops that are run by women (or if a woman works there but is not in charge, maybe hide a note somewhere in her room, if she has one). And maybe in Haelga's room in the bunkhouse. To me, it seems like knowledge that wouldn't be commonly known. It probably wouldn't be known by men at all, and would only be shared between women whom knew each other well and lived in the same town - and even then, it would be done discreetly. Because of social stigma/persecution, women wouldn't want to be caught using it, and alchemists wouldn't want to be caught distributing it. But as evidenced by Bothela's Discreet Delivery, people often need things from alchemists that they want to keep confidential. If you wanted to get really fancy, you might even have different recipes that worked for different races, and put those recipes in places that would make sense. (For argonians, maybe the assemblage in windhelm or the Bee and Barb in Riften. For Khajiit, maybe the caravans might carry it, the dunmer might have it in the grey quarter, and so on)
