sikamikanico78 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014  skse 1.7 wont let me launch my game... so i am stuck with skse 1.6 and sexlab 1.39b  You had to have installed it wrong then u cant install it wrong... its is as simple as overwrite all files...  i also tried all the extra comands and paramaters suggested by experienced users still it will not launch my game (propably cause it is still in alpha status)
RDKateran Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Doubt it. Everyone else is utilizing the alpha SKSE without issue. Yes, you can install it wrong, it has been known to happen. I would strongly recommend you removing your old SKSE files and installing them again.

From what I understand by reading some of the latest posts in the thread, the latest (last) version doesn't work with 1.5+. A very popular and unique mod; some may even call it boring (as in, one of the few mods that doesn't involve slavery, rape, etc). Â It hasn't stopped me from upgrading, but may have stopped others.

From what I understand by reading some of the latest posts in the thread, the latest (last) version doesn't work with 1.5+. A very popular and unique mod; some may even call it boring (as in, one of the few mods that doesn't involve slavery, rape, etc). Â It hasn't stopped me from upgrading, but may have stopped others. Â You have not read the latest posts in the thread then. I posted a patched version of the mod there a couple days ago, just waiting for somebody with 1.57 to confirm the patch works.

Yep, that's the problem of providing a mod where the gonads start screaming "stop reading that crap and get some action going" .
nutluck Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014    Misinformed text.  But who would in their right mind make a tutorials section...  Though that tends that section tends to be modder focused, that's only the result of the guides posted there, not for any content rules. There are plenty of such tutorials on exactly what you mention however. The problem is that almost nobody seems to read the sticky topics that they are located in. Hence the new additional sticky post in the Technical Support section, http://www.loverslab.com/topic/32980-important-post-your-debug-logs/ No amount of captialized letters screaming "READ ME" seems to make people read and comprehend them.  Seriously Im constantly using forums and never knew THAT topic exists. The reason is mostly that i use Skyrim subgroup since im interested in Skyrim related things and mods. I always thought LoversLab/General would be general topics about the site and not about game mods. Perhaps thats why others don't read it as well.  Same here.

If a  select group (hint: contributors) were responsible for curating the list - it shouldn't get out of hand. For instance, there could be a Task called (for example): "Fix Spouses Enhanced to run on SL 1.57". Instead of people missing the appropriate thread, they could go and search the bug list for "Spouses", etc. and bring up the bug and see the status.  Just a thought.

(2 degrees end 4 diplomas...okok jsut kidding!)...BUT it is defently a compatibility issue with one of my 200+ mods i use... ..i aint gona search 200 mods to dind out  better wait for a more stable version

(2 degrees end 4 diplomas...okok jsut kidding!)...BUT it is defently a compatibility issue with one of my 200+ mods i use... ..i aint gona search 200 mods to dind out  better wait for a more stable version  Good luck with that.  I don't think they'll ever change 1.7.0.  You'll probably see an alpha 1.8.0 eventually...one day.  I recommend you verify you can load the game with just SKSE 1.7.0 and no mods.  If it is too hard to do that, you are not an experienced user.  Go grab a decent mod manager like Mod Organizer so that you can create multiple profiles.  Create a Skyrim Vanilla profile and only enable SKSE 1.7.0.  If you can't do that, then you need to verify your Skyrim Installation.  If neither of those work, you've got a problem with your OS (maybe some corrupt files/drivers).  And no amount of waiting, crossing your fingers, or wishful thinking will fix this problem or make it go away.

Â Â That's right, I haven't read the thread in a while. It was abandoned, and a long time had passed with no other mod authors/users picking it up, so keeping up with the thread seemed pointless. Â I had just found your thread here, and I seen a few references to the mod from other people, so I seconded the thought.

I don't know exactly what is broken as I haven't tried using it myself, but I've seen posts in its forum thread indicating at least some incompatibilities with newer SL versions.

circ Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm using 1.57, but the only mods I'd like to try out but are in some state of abandonment and either not working at all or iffy, are Dangerously Nude and Lover's Victim. And of course some people have issues with Aroused although I haven't noticed anything major.
Karasu Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Well I am using the latest SL but I must admit I would love to see Lovers Confort patched so people do it on the bed instead of inside the bed, also would love it if Aroused would stop getting the chickens horny and cloging up Papyrus. I personally gave up on Lovers Victim and Dangerously Nude (some weird bugs or just plain not working) and now I try to wear clothes all the time.
