Life In Skyrim.

So not much new in the world for skyrim. Well. Except for one thing. I was on my way to my wedding, getting changed at my home in whiterun and I got there, Lydia waiting for me and ABSOLUTE CHAOS! 

Wolf gang found us and started to kill everyone! They destroyed my wedding! So hopefully when I get everything all set up for the second one everything goes well. And before that when I was talking to the guy who sets up the wedding the cultists attacked! Talk about bad luck

So thats basically the whole wedding night in a nutshell. I'm downloading some mods for Lydia right now so she wont change back into her armor and also will look different.

I'm quite fond of Lydia's appearance with the Skyrim Beautiful Followers mod. She's cute as hell with that mod running.

Cutting wood in Riverwood, scavenging herbs and hunting seeing if any scripts break.

Doing some jobs for the Thieves guild (and remove a concurrent guild by the way). Teaching the new sybil of Dibella some tricks .

Today, I found out that Ulfric really DOES know a shout. He FUSRODAHed me when I sneaked into his palace as a werewolf. But  a few claw swipes taught him to cower nicely  in a corner while I kept minding my own business (aka breakfasting on people). Roar.

I have every thing set to max difficulty, modded to high level, so I mostly run when things get violent. Having all the "add-npc" mods installed, there is a lot of running to do. Currency trying to only kill non-human hostiles. They tend to kill each other mostly, they're always fighting. Never fast travel, but just steal horses from imperial. Angry horse mounted imperials are everywhere.

 

I export/import my main character into new shard play-throughs, to experiment with new builds. With sky-uncapper set properly I take my main pc from 1-60 in a week of heavy play while doing a full shard (quest area) of game. Currently Solesthiem, but without dragon main quest. Not started dragon questing on this shard yet, they're scary at max difficulty, taking over an hour to kill for the easy ones..

 

Once a skill reaches level 100 I have sky-uncapper stop accelerated leveling for that skill and dramatically decelerate. The current mod build is trying to mimic Guilwars 1 skill advancement, were you build skills; gear and vital stats are irrelevant with 'high-level-enemies' and other mods.

 

Choosing battles is key. Running is often the better outcome.

Laura had a crappy day (pics in the spoilers).

 

Left her farm and on the way to dragonbridge to make some armour to begin her life of adventure she ran into some weird mage dude that enslaved her

 

 

 

 

 

 

Laura's new "owner" decided to take her to dragonbridge but on the way they ran into a real slaver who promptly killed her "owner" and took her for himself, when they got to his camp by the inn the slaver told laura to put on a show with his other slave and when laura refused he was none to happy

 

 

 

 

 

 

The slaver still wanted his show after he'd finished punishing Laura

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seeing that Laura was atleast being temporarly obedient he took her to the inn to make some money off her

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eventually the slaver grew tired and fell asleep which gave Laura the chance to escape, knowing that the slaver would come looking for her she fled to Whiterun and was able to to persuade one of the local shop keepers to give her a place to hide for the night

 

 

 

 

 

 

That night Laura seriously began to reconsider her commitment to becoming an adventurer although perhaps there would be more safety in numbers and those companions outside whiterun had mentioned something about joining when she'd help them finish off that giant

Then I feel guilty for all the weird twisted shit I'm doing and uninstall it, only to fully reinstall it with the hundreds of mods and fine-tuning a month later because erection. Then it happens all over again.

Fuck this game, I could be learning a new language instead of doing this shit...

I'm thinking exactly like you, I've calculated that with the hundreds of hours I've spent modding and playing Skyrim, I could've read more than 100 books, finished my memoir back in February, found an apartment in Paris and been to almost 30 electro fests.

Why uninstall and reinstall? Start using Mod Organizer so you can have multiple profiles/characters. This way you can have serious play throughs and fapping material. I have 4 right now, 2 are serious with only Defeat added and the other 2 are full of fucking galore or used to test new mods.

 

Simple fix. Fuck learning a new language.

i was using live another life other day and made a necromacer and complete forgot im using colorful magic mod (that give creepy ones new bosses) and at lvl 1 founded the mecha/dwarven dragon, belive if anyone here use colorful magic will know what im talking about, its at least 10x more harder of ancient dragons, if you try kill that with a char below 75 its certain dead lol. (Im using skyredone so imagine)

Ever since I've found LoversLab, my "Skyrim Life" looks something like this:

>Create a new char to play sex mods

>Something doesn't work right

>Create five new characters in the process of fixing problems

>Play for a few hours with now-working sex mods

>Ooh a new/updated sex mod!

>Create a new char to play the new sex mod

>Something doesn't work right...

 

Right now I'm downloading Skyrim again because somehow I managed to fuck it up beyond repair despite using Mod Organizer. After I finally get it to work, I plan to play some serious Skyrim without sex mods, because they always prove... too distracting for me.

I came back to Skyrim for sex mods, but in the process of toying with them I realized there's still so much I haven't done in this game, so many things I haven't seen, so many mods with stories I'd like to experience...

 

I'm not quitting sex mods altogether, just taking some time off.
