FoxFingers Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Another problem popped up lol. After the quest is over Mjoll is following me around even tho I keep telling her It's time to part ways and to wait here. The complete opposite of the other problem. Hopefully this will resolve itself too. Praise Talos! That's going to be coming from somewhere else. This mod doesn't do anything as far as follower functions. Quest, scenes, voiced dialogue. That's pretty much it for this Mod. Thanks!
SlimShadyVL Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Alright, fixed it right away. It was an UFO problem. I just rebooted the mod. Amorous adventures is amazing by the way.
mrmitch246 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Is Sven, Orgnar and Faendal alive? Have you returned the Golden Claw? Is Amorous one of the absolute last mods that you load? If all of those things are true it should work, if one of them is not then it won't. Yes, Yes, and Yes. I click "Camilla, I think you know I'm attracted to you" She says her line and the conversation quits This game has less then 5 hours from a clean after-helgan save Complete the Golden Claw Complete the Lovely Letter - make sure you talked to whichever one (Sven, Faendal) you completed it for. "Camilla, I think you know I'm attracted to you (Persuade)" That's a Persuade roll. Are you passing the roll? If not, it's going to sit there. SetStage 50, that should get you passed it and you can go talk to Orgnar. Unfortunately, Camilla is a quest you have to get through the Dialogues on. You can't just set a stage and Quest Completes and she's a lover. That was pretty much the first quest I made and I was still figuring out what I was doing. Hope that helps! Yes I passed the persuade. I think I figured out the issue being the way I handled the Lovely Letter probably didn't set the required flags and is causing the issue. If I remember right I: Talked to Sven and got his letter Told Faendal and got his letter Went straight to Camilla and told her both were using subterfuge (it only took one letter?) hence the quest was completed by talking to Camilla, not either of them I tried talking to them and they both don't seem to like me (Faendal more so, Sven seems indifferent) I tried the setstage and Orgnar has no dialogue. From the journal, it seems I have to get rid of the 'other guy' but I dealt with both at once so it isn't firing properly. Hence I think it's a flag issue If I'm right you may want to consider rebuilding hers, now that you have more experience. The mod is great and adds much more depth to the characters. You may want to consider a nonsex (fade to black) version for the nexus and maybe set it so you can't marry them until you do their quest. It is nice that their decisions don't amount to "i'm single" or a "dice roll".

Hopefully this will resolve itself too. Praise Talos! Do you have Amorous mod last in your load order? Try to run LOOT on your load order, install Wrye Bash and move Amorous mod last, make one bashed patch whit Wrye and see if that solves it. Dont know if it can help, but Amorous dont work so well if you have it early in the load list.

They quest completely keys off the idea that one of the two (Sven or Faendal) has a high relationship with Camilla based on what you did in the Lovely Letter. Now, I'm not familiar with this "subterfuge" option you described. I don't think that's part of the Base Bethesda lovely letter quest. If you got that option from some other Mod and jumped the tracks of the Bethesda Quest then, yeah, no fix for that. Also, what is this "Nexus" you speak of?

Ah, that does make sense Though I can't recall a mod I have that does that it does not have dialogue and is not vanilla, I assumed it was yours. I'm keeping all my saves so... 4 hours lost of Legendary gameplay... ugh. Anyway thanks! great mod! also, sarcasm doesn't translate well over text, so, on the very slim chance this was serious, just google skyrim nexus
Uncle64 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 What I have learned is that not all modders do want their mods on Nexus or Steam Workshop personally I have full respect for that. So please drop that topic.

If the NPC is talking to you and it is silent, you know you're not in this mod. Anyways, checked the Skyrim Wiki - didn't see a "Use Subterfuge" option. I didn't think so or I would have accounted for that. Everything in Amorous Adventures keys off where a player should be based on where Bethesda says they should be. /jk Nexus Thanks!
FoxFingers Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Just as an aside, I've seriously considered making a "fade to black" kind or port of this for Nexus. But I believe even with the removal of the SexLab stuff the mod itself still probably has too many mature themes for that venue. And, you know, I'd like to keep my account there so I can download stuff.
Sacremas Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 You could try sending a message to a moderator like TheVampireDante (one of the strictest moderators, if you get past him you get past them all) and explaining the mod. After all you have to keep in mind Animated Prostitution is on the Nexus just fine, both Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas versions.

The third way is definitely part of vanilla Skyrim, and I've done it myself on a few playthroughs. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:A_Lovely_Letter shows the possible path, check the last point in the notes section.

With no sexlab framework connection, I think it would be fine. There are quite explicit sex mod on the Nexus after all. think of Estrus Chaurus or Animated Prostitution. The really "red line", I think, is non consensual sex or rape, which your mod is mostly deprived of. (or we should we rate blackmailing Ysolda as non consensual?)

Oh, I see. You have to run around and pick pocket them. I'm confused though since it says that, in the end, if you talk to one of them it sets their dispositions as normal. And it's the Disposition change from Lovely Letter that the Camilla amorous quest looks at. Should be no effect if that's the case. Anyways, thanks for that, something for me to look into I guess.

I never really saw the Ysolda quest as a blackmail quest, myself. More like tough love since she's into bad things. I really thought the epilogue with her put it into the correct perspective. But, you know, maybe it doesn't come across. I guess I'd have to change a few things. Maybe I'll think about it when I call the mod "Done" since I don't want to support two versions with more character adds. Thanks!
FoxFingers Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Any kind of ETA on when Serana will be finished? My updates always take forever. Several weeks for certain. Seriously, don't hold your breath for this one. Dawnguard is really long. Thanks!
Azzhat Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 So I'm doing the questline in Riften I didn't do any of their personal quests that are listed as don't do, but when i go to kill Arien Mjoll flip-flops. Sometimes she'll attack me, I'll reload and other times she'll aid me. However the end result is always the same she just says "Get out of here, I'm in no mood to talk." What's going on? Is there a way to fix this? EDIT: I think I figured out the problem but I'm not certain, I think it was due to one of the two mods I have installed: "When Vampires Attack" and "Run For Your Lives" both cause npcs to move to indoors during a vampire and dragon attack, I suppose that counts towards the compatibilty issues. I figured this was the case when it worked due to the fact that Mjoll stayed outside this time but all the previous times, she came inside the house during the fight with Airen.

Riften hasn't been brought up much lately. I guess I'll need to revisit Mjoll's quest. Thanks!

Then talk to Camilla, and reveal the terrible truth to her that they are both dick-butts, she likes you best, they both dislike you. It's always worked fine for me anytime I've done it.

I cant start the quest, and all are alive. (I think)
FoxFingers Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 I put up a testing version of the Mod with Serana. Main Page, Downloads. Check the notes on the Main page also. You can look at her first six interactions and see what you think. Does it look like it adds anything to a Dawnguard play through? (I kind of hope the answer is "no" because then I can stop, heh). That covers Finding her, Prophet and Chasing Echoes. Easy enough to run through them with SetStage, although you still have to start Dawnguard and get to her in the box. Thanks!
d4nt320 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 i want to have a romance with Lydia but she is dead.

Uncle64 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) Ohh. Amazing. Did try the save outside after I picked her up. And Ohh My Gregor did get one boner. And Vilja did look strange on her. It did work from there. The quest stages did go as it should, so the next should come where you have put it. No spoiler here. I will try the save from before I pick her up now. Did try it and I like where it goes. Did only to the first part where you will enter the boat. Did record it to Amazing work at the lines. Edited March 23, 2015 by Uncle64
