best body texture mod?

I was initially excited to see that somebody had made a new high-res body texture; 4k textures are practically nonexistent, and body texture modding in Skyrim has been effectively stagnant for like a year.

But it turns out that what we get in this package is the default CBBE 4k texture with: 1) A different genital region (debatable on whether or not it's actually "better", 2) areolae that have been partially replaced with an oddly polygonal substitute, and 3) a completely unnecessary artificial grain over the entire texture. The latter "feature" makes this mod into the first case I've ever seen of a body texture version of what most Skyrim "HD" texture packs actually are: Preexisting textures with a grain superimposed over them in order to fake higher detail.

I should at least note that the normal map included in this package can be considered an improvement over CBBE default, as it does add detail to the genital area. There was originally very little.

I would say something similar to that. But I would add "Why couldn't the author add psd files so we're not limited to the boring CBBE default texture, y'know for user-friendliness?" The areola and rest are pretty much covered thanks to the author of fitness and CBBE options except the pussay part. Maybe I'll go over to the nexus and give him the suggestion.

weird though...can someone help me? i have sg female textures on that has been overwritten with real girls texture and i always get those noticeable neck seams which is a bit annoying...i use unpb bbp and i do have all my armors,clothes replaced with unpb bbp ones but i always still have the neckseams even with no clothes on

i have sg female textures(not the sweaty body but the smooth body one,) overwrote those with the real girls realistic texture (large) both body and face maps

anyone had succesfully merged these two without having any noticeable neckseams?

I like more of a realistic/movie look and not all cartoon/anime. Most of the skins I see the girls look like plastic dolls and creep me out. I've messed around a lot with different UNP and CBBE combinations over the years, and narrowed it down pretty well for my style. For CBBE, go Mature Skin with Heroine Face. And depending on if you want your women muscular, there is always Sporty Normal Map. As for UNP, go with the Barbarian skin from HoneyVanity. If it's down or hidden, there's Floyd0122's version. It's also pretty convenient sporty map/sweat is also for both.

Depends more of enb +skin combination i guess at least for me, because some textures goes really good with some enbs, and some not, that why i use combo textures (got couple of textures and made a mix), not perfect high definition, but at least works for me with 3-4 enbs i use.

i agree at first i was using real girls ultra, but it just looked to dark and all the definition looked bad on realvision performance version.

SG is much smoother and cleaner at least for my settings

do you mind showing me an example of this "mixed texture"?

Keep in mind most of texture used its from XunAmarox (loved his texture for private parts and the nipples omg so nice) ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39301/?) , im using also sg ( hellosanta ) ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/? ) and mature skin here ( Maevan2 idk if hes loverslab user) (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32986/? ), some are maps and some are stolen parts like per example lips, i just made a bit Frankenstein almost, and like im not owner / author of that i cant share, its not good taking credit for other ppl creations. If you look well (most at face) will seen some differences at neck/body and lips also, like i said not perfect, but for me goes ok till now, maybe will try improve that someday, keep in mind im just doing with base at my taste, i dnt wanna any author getting offended by that please, because taste its personal everyone have one.

this is the diffuse map i use on my girls.

thought i'd share.

I can't release it as a mod because all i did was combine fair skin complexion and real girls in paint.net

with a bit of layer blending, using fair skin complexion as a base and real girls as a detail overlay

this texture looks good over all but i'd recommend a good enb with a sharpen process to get all the details

included are femalehead, femalebody and femalehands diffuse/colour map.

i created these because i found real girls to be too dark in places, like under the breasts or the armpits

i think finding good normal maps is the most challenging, since those cause the neck seam or other seams from blending.

you really have to be willing to check textures in paint.net, especially normal maps and see which femalehead_msn fits with femalebody_msn...

it can be challenging but if you compare the base of unp normal maps you will eventually find the best ones.

That one. Absolutely, 100% and a thousand times: that's the one. The best there is, the best there ever was. The best there ever will be? I don't know. I'm always open to new textures. But I've been using this one for a really long time now, even customized it a bit, and I'm VERY happy with it.

I am growing more and more fond of FSC Univision Textures. Very realistic, highly detailed, yet very clean and blemish-free. But I also use Barbarian, SG and Mature on a few characters I have profiles set up for in Mod Organizer.

Sure. Right here. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41051/? It's on the download page for the Top Model body mod. It will work for any UNP variant. I've tried it on UNP Skinny, UNPetite, UNP, Top Model and Seven Base Bombshell. Works perfectly on all of them. It also has a patch for ECE to get rid of any gap or seam (since ECE has a different head mesh).

I've kinda settled upon SG textures alongside SvarogNL's Body Options and Fitness Body Blender. I can't comment on ENBs as I don't really have the computer horsepower to run one, or the patience to sort through everything available.

I've tried them all, and SG is very nice, but once I tried "Women of Skyrim female face texture and COMPANIONS" with the tan lines I was sold, just the best there is

put textures at same size,copy and past just and try dif maps till find one for you taste,its not really difficult.
