I've tested almost all of them, but the one that I like the most, that is really essential on my game and I can't play without it, SG Female Textures Renewal, but it's like you said, personal opinion !!!

lmao I don't think there is a best body texture out there. It just matters what ENB present and setting you're using. The vanilla light and shadow pretty much sucks. Well nvm, lets rephrase that: First get an ENB, then talk about the subject.

 

Just remember that when you see a screenshot of a character, its pretty much 80% ENB and 20% character assets for it to look good in the first place. Unless of course you have the talent to add emotion (not forced) to the character to trick the viewers into thinking that the doll has humanity. That's an essential plus and enables the 'feel' even though the image looks crappy.

For reference go look at some of the characters posted at /tesg related sites. Their characters aren't the best looking although they look good already, but what makes them unique from the majority of the anonymous characters is their background and facial expression. I remember one male character maybe Deo but that smile man, that priest smile. Also Bohan looks pretty gud. Oh wait I'm talking about males here. But yea sometimes I see those character with awkward facial expressions and I get pretty disappointed cause of that. Whatever, let me say shit. Come on.

 

Oh and don't forget to substitute what I said about 'ENB' for 'light' if you're using vanilla lights/shadow.

 

Also, don't forget normal maps. A over-simplified normal map makes your character super smooth and in result your character looks like an expensive doll. But adding too much detail is an negative also. Personally I dislike the stomach used in navetsea related textures, like mature skin or SG. Of course I can replace it, and I use the fitness body by SvarogNL. Actually, if you're using CBBE or non-unp variants (which I mean by CBBE) then I would recommend you to use SvarogNL's customizable normal/color map.

 

Seems like the thread is already going to a 'spam every texture existing' thread, so Imma just throw in a vote for Xanshio's tanline and fair skin textures.

In my opinion, it's 90% character, 10% ENB in the better case... ENB (some of them) enhances the natural beauty of the composition, by adding certain color filters, lighting and shaders, but is not magic. At best, cheap enb's can dissimulate errors by adding depth of field, bloom, washed colors, grain, etc. But I haven't found any enb making better an already good looking face, only shows it under a different prism.

 

More on topic, my favourite textures are Navetsea's, even when are 4k ultra detailed stuff out there, it's still my personal favourite. Although I actually use them all for NPCs with the patcher 'EveryBody's Different', very recommended.

I can only use what I have for disposal.

 

edit: for me it is even more complicated, I use CHSBHCv2 and can use "textures v2" only.

hi what does this mean you installed the textures by antiwomaagnot over SG? or you mixed them youself using editing tools?

If you open the folder of a texture you'll see that there are several files there with different extensions. Each of those is a layer of the texture and you can mix and match the layers without any editing tools. You just take the _1.dds from one, the _1_msn.dds from another, the _1_s.dds from yet another and maybe even the _1_sk.dds from another one and put them all together.

i switched to sevenbase today was getting tired of not having all the sexy outfits

 

used the real girl texture and SG and its looking good so far except for a small bug in some npc's hand seams (not color but gap)

I've tried a ton of them. My favorites so far are SG, Fairskin and Milkdrinker. They're all nice, but I just prefer those for some reason or another. The nicest I've seen was Milkdrinker normal map with the rest of the layers from SG, although I've been rocking the Univision Sweaty lately (and it's growing on me).

I've tried a ton of them. My favorites so far are SG, Fairskin and Milkdrinker. They're all nice, but I just prefer those for some reason or another. The nicest I've seen was Milkdrinker normal map with the rest of the layers from SG, although I've been rocking the Univision Sweaty lately (and it's growing on me).

 

SG really is good its my main texture real girls texture does not work well with 7b to dark under the breast and overall, i though univision was a face mod? can u link me to this sweaty body?

Depends more of enb +skin combination i guess at least for me, because some textures goes really good with some enbs, and some not, that why i use combo textures (got couple of textures and made a mix), not perfect high definition, but at least works for me with 3-4 enbs i use.

SG is much smoother and cleaner at least for my settings

sk.dds is skin subsurface

s.dds is the gloss map

msn.dds is the normal map 

and

just plain.dds is the body texture.

 

At least as I understand it.

About all I have occasionally changed is the normal map to maybe make my chars have some abs etc...

Keep in mind most of texture used its from  XunAmarox (loved his texture for private parts and the nipples omg so nice) ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39301/?) , im using also sg ( hellosanta ) ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/? ) and mature skin here ( Maevan2 idk if hes loverslab user) (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32986/? ), some are maps and some are stolen parts like per example lips, i just made a bit Frankenstein almost, and like im not owner / author of that i cant share, its not good taking credit for other ppl creations. If you look well (most at face) will seen some differences at neck/body and lips also, like i said not perfect, but for me goes ok till now, maybe will try improve that someday, keep in mind im just doing with base at my taste, i dnt wanna any author getting offended by that please, because taste its personal everyone have one.

Using K enb at that pics . (i really need improve the face color to match better lol also lips tinture area)
