Thelargir Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I took the liberty of writing a small quest idea Title: Lost in the dark (for female PC's) Summary: After discovering a dwemer soul-trap deep underground, your soul is stolen, and you are captured and enslaved by falmer. Find a way to escape and regain your lost soul. General Idea: Starting as a basic adventure in one of the Dwemer-ruins, you find an ancient device with an unknown function. When you activate it, your soul is taken by the device and you pass out. You later awaken nude in a completely dark (except for glowing mushrooms) cave, bound and surrounded by a big group of falmer who gang-rape you. (Small percent chance of getting pregnant). After what seems like an eternity bound and fed only chaurus eggs, you manage to slip free from your restraints, and must sneak your way out of the cavesystem. Different tunnels lead in different directions, and depending on what way you chose, you can escape or end up deeper underground where there are worse things than falmer. (The Falmer chieftain has all your stuff, but he lives deeper underground.) Having only glowing mushrooms for light and armed with a bone-club, your chance of survival are slim. If you choose the right way, you start to discover dwemer objects and architecture, eventually leading you back to the place where your soul was stolen. (Since you dont have a soul, you cant use shouts during your escape or regenerate magicka). You have to look for some kind of key to open the device that took your soul, and hopefully regain your soul. There are lots falmer and chaurus all over the place, so stealth is paramount. If you are discovered you have to fight or flee, but if you fight you can end up being captured again. For some reason that reminds me of the Old World Blues DLC on New Vegas. At the beginning they did some extensive surgery on you, and you acquired temporary (or permanent, if you wanted) perks based on what they did (e.g. robotic circulatory system : immunity to poison). Soulless: As horny as an alley-cat in heat Although, I don't think it would be possible to steal the soul of the dragonborn unless they gave it willingly. Presumably their own soul is built to composite additional souls (dragon souls, in fact) on to it and would by default be larger and more powerful. But I suppose of they got to you before you absorbed your first dragon, it would be more believable. Also, for those two monsters. If Doc found models and animations for them, I can't see him turning it down.

And YES' date=' I like horror [/quote'] Yeah, me too I'm always up for a bit of drop the player into a pit and let her fight her way out naked, and in fact something a lot like that (if somewhat more disgusting) is planned for the escape route from the Falmer enslavement scenario that I will someday get around to writing down. Clearly we're thinking on similar lines I'm not so sure about the soul stealing in general though. In Lore terms it seems fairly clear - lose your soul and your body dies. So most of the soul-stealing we're discussed has been on the basis that the major part gets taken, but you're allowed a trickle of soul energy back, just enough to keep your body alive. I like "soulless automata" as a description, but I'm not sure about it being literally true. And if we did have a true soul stealing occurrence, I'd like to make an epic of it. And YES, I like horror [/quote'] Well I like it, few things though. Firstly, as has been mentioned, soul stealing might not fit in with elder scrolls lore. here's 2 other options: 1. Keep everything the same, but instead of losing your soul, you are fitted with slave bracelets and/or collar which give the same effects (no shouting/mana regen). Key to the bracelets/collar is held in a dwarven forcefield (or elaborate safe of some kind), to which only the surviving dwarf has the key, etc. basically a simple swap to be more lore-friendly 2. Your spirit is separated from your body. A cunning falmer sorcerer, using the aforementioned giant black soul gem has ambushed you, separating spirit and flesh, your soul is forced to endure numerous trials and battles in the spirit world in order to return to your body, perhaps beign forced into making some rather binding (magic, soul-binding) promises to some unsavoury people (like that dwarf), as you can't directly affect the spirit world. The whole time this is going on, you can see your body being raped, abused, and tortured in the physical world, the faster you complete all the tasks and get someone to help you, the less chance you have of returning pregnant or permanently injured. edit: in regards to consequences of taking too long, some ideas: first stage would be pregnancy (which may also require you to postpone fulfilling your promises, resulting in aditional punishments/duties), second would be a permanent reduction to health/stamina, plus the aforementioned pregnancy, and third would involve a horrific impregnation by chaurus, the young of which would devour you from the inside shortly after you return to your body, resulting in death. I took a break from the capture quests to work on animations; both adding them into the game, and organising them so that it' easy for other modders to add their animations to an in-game resources table, and from there to play complex multi-player animations. All stuff that we could do with, really. Soon as I get done with that, I'll be back on the capture quests, and shortly after that we'll have a preliminary release

Thelargir Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Good to hear so many of you like it I`m not that well versed in the Elder Scrolls lore, so I wasnt sure about the whole soul-stealing part. But I suppose the easiest way to work around that, would be to make the dwemer device only able to steal part of the soul of the Dragonborn. It takes enough to remove your shouts and magicka, but not enough to kill you? But yeah, I suppose the whole "Lost soul" thing should be a bit more epic. Still, I kind of prefer the game at lower levels, when things actually are challenging, and your character isnt too powerful. I also like the lower level equipment better than the high level, when it comes to appearance. Iron, steel and leather is awesome I guess what I`m trying to say is that I like a sort of "gritty realism" better than "super-awesome epic stuff of legends". Although "realism in fantasy" is a bit of a paradox :/

It's basically everything I ever wanted in a mod for Skyrim. Heck, for Oblivion too for that mattter. I was so stoked for this that I installed the Creation Kit and Blender and tried to do some item modding in the hopes that I could assist the team. So far I can't even get Blender to work properly, so I guess I won't be a productive Slaver just yet. Still, I'll see if I can't add something to the project. In the meantime, thanks so much for working on this! Can't wait to give it a play!

I might be able to help in my spare time, I tried helping on a mod for fallout here before, but was unable to get to it. So this would be me making up for that So what I would need: the models/skeletons you want animated (or where/how to pull them from skyrim), and a video reference/animated gif of the scene/"action" you want. I'm not the best animator, but something could be better than nothing right? If not I'm happy to stand aside and let you guys work btw on second thought, I might be able to google the first bit, so just answer what you can/want.

Have a brothel/abandon house for each hold as a front door and slaver den as a back door with door outside the city wall or far from the city. Useful for smuggling slave out of the city without any attraction.(Only a handful of city guard knows about it.) 2. Have guards bringing captive to become slave once a week or so. This trade can be make only after midnight.( The Jarl won't know what happen.) 3. If female PC is captured by guard and choose to serve time, she will be send to the slaver den instead of the jail. Raped for a day or so then released back to the wild with only ragged cloth. Just my idea. Hope to see the mod working soon.

It would also explain why the dragonborn might not attempt to call Odahviing for help or become ethereal and easily escape any form of bondage. And' date=' fortunately, there seem to be quite a few dragons roaming around Skyrim even after you stop Alduin. So getting your souls back would be far from impossible (but escaping the slavers is another matter entirely). Have guards bringing captive to become slave once a week or so. I'd imagine that your organization would be able to cut a deal to make this happen at some point. It would probably require fairly high establishment and gold/upkeep.
drjamf Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 There is a lot of talk of soul-stealing, vampires, and even a soulgem like amulet to steal the slave's soul when the master dies. Is there going to be anything with enthrallment spells? It's already possible to get two of your very own, 100% obedient slaves in vanilla. It seems like a good place to explore if soul-stealing is going to be a part. Spells that can steal a soul into a black soulgem with out killing the target. A terrible spell for getting useful slaves but a great spell for getting trophies. There could be a spell that partially or temporarily removes a soul to make a target more obedient for a while, but gives them a large boost to resisting you afterwards. Could even be worked in as spell for PC slaves. The slaver steals your soul into a soulgem (I think that wandering Kahjet mentions that he was once trapped in a soulgem) and you have to escape. The partial soul removal could be used to force the player to do things, and could be expanded into a little minigame where the player has "maintain her concentration" in order to resist. Also, a quest involving corrupt guards would be great. Especially if a slave PC escapes to the city, only to find the guard dragging her back ("I Spit on your Grave" anyone?)

And after you break free you start to heal and after some time you get your old skin back. I can make some textures for that.

I can make some textures for that. yes it is possible to attach a specific animation to say an object such as chains/cuffs/manacles and add them to a specific body slot made for them. replacing the textures is also possible, can do it two ways... well one that i know works and another that could possible work. you can use body slots to add the textures of the scars/wounds to temporarily show scars in particular circumstantial. you could replace the texture directly via commands, problem with that would be that the since the textures are attached via the mesh there would potentially be conflicts. if you want to make some textures by all means please do... i would ask that you make just the scar textures without the rest of the body textures, or do both to test out a few ways of trying it.
PuddyTat Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Can't say I'd really be into blood and bruising, but to each his own. Like the wiki says, I'd be more likely a 'nice' slaver than one who beats. Different anims for chains is really a nice idea. One thing I don't like about Zaria's (sp?) Restraints mod is that is is really just cosmetic. Well, better that than nothing I suppose. I'd really like to see more elegant shackles be designed, too. The medieval looking stuff is great and all, but there are a lot of fantastic 'sleek n' shiny' stuff out there. I'll post a pic later if I find one. The 'escapetology' stuff on the wiki is interesting, and looks like a great system to weave in some real consequence to bondage in the mod. How is escape to work for PC bondage? Or can you? It would be neat if the view would adjust to your PC wrist or ankle as you do the lock pick minigame or something.

So my question is can the animations have transitions? Something like the killmoves? For example when you're on low health your enemy move towards you, hit you, getting you on the ground and then start to rape you? Is that possible with the current animation system? I mean a full length animation with beginning>middle>end instead of looping animation... These are the questions that haunt me.. :D

What if there were some kind of book fetch quests built around buffing the Slaver skill tree? Like finding all the missing volumes of the Slaver's Art Quarterly Volume 1 - Proper leather binding. Volume 2 - Unpickable locks. Etc. If you found them they would give you small boosts to your stats. Could also be a vehicle to deliver some flavor text about the Slaver Guild and stuff.

[/quote'] I'm going back to this topic for a second because I just found out it can be easily solved. There's a papyrus function that overrides the race checkbox for pc dialogue!

These are the questions that haunt me.. :D [/quote'] we would indeed like to do exactly that with animation transitions, the problem is scripting it so that it runs correcting within the in-game environment... currently the issue with having multiple anims is that they dont want to work together, once that is all figured out as long as we have the animations to play different sequences then we can have the start animation were the NPC moves towards the PC or other NPC and knockes em down - position - any looping animations plus speed /timing (using our own key bindings to switch positions, waiting on SKSE for this) - ending animations any sperm anims or slot items etc. still a ton of work to be done, work is progressing slowly. [/quote'] bit too shiney, but i can make the meshes... hmm, possible to have maybe a mammoth fur cuff... just need to work on textures mostly so that the cuff/etc. fits better with the game etc.
