You still have this bug when

brotherhood becomes hostile after ;ab quest

 

 

I also had a problem with that quest namely it didn't start as indicated by the faq

How can I help you with a message like that?

name of he quest, how did you try to start it, debug log....

The rotunder quest, I've

tried starting stealing independance from  rivet city and i've tried just walking into the archives and talking to her ( sydney) and that quest doesn't start, if I complete the stealing independance quest it says she was moved to vault 87

How do you find the debug log?  I've looked most of the Fallout folders and not found anything?

 

 

 

Look for this in your fallout folder.

Does it literally do nothing? You click on it and nothing happens?

 

 

There should be file at least! Script can break at the middle (I don't know for what reasons) but first lines of the code should dump the file in Fallout folder. Please check.

Whenever I try to export the debug log it says I dont have the latest version of sexout, can you link me to the proper version the one in sexoutng doesnt seem to be the right version

yeah that was my fault. New stable version of Sexout was uploaded on 28 of september and debug log checked for v86 and beta variable too. Beta variable is cleared for stable release therefore debug log failed to proceed. (Condition was that message was that beta int should be less than 3). For v.86 beta 10 it worked fine.

 

 

 

Now it's fixed and V86 stable version is made official requrement. That issue should not repeat in the future.

Also I improved debug log more so it will show the state of the characters. (which will help me to fix Rotunda bug for example)

So, I'm waiting on debug log.

1) Can you please remember the exact moment you captured every debug file and name the files next time? It will make my work easier.

2) Tell me exactly what happens when you go near Sydney. Do mutants appear at all? I have a nasty feeling that some mod is blocking the trigger which spawns the mutants.

Well I suspected it was a conflict with my sydney follower mod so I took that off and it didnt work. The first one was right before I walked into the Nat archives and the second was after the  first 3 mutants show up and the subsequent nothing that happens when I ask her about them

So first 3 mutants appear? Only 3? Not 6? Not Doug? That's strange. Something is overriding MS15 (Stealing independency) quest script - you've got all variables set right.

 

 

I think that you have another mod which:

 

1) overrides ms15 quest script on purpose

2) overrides ms15 quest script accidentally (if modder for example pushed "recompile all scripts")

 

I think I can help you to determine which mod does it when I'm home. But now you can try switching mods one by one (especcialy those which are for TTW and are not from legitimate sources).

 

Trigger is located near Sydney. When you reach it - it sets quest variable to 1 so Quest script spawns mutants  (my mod changes how many mutant spawn if you are friendly with mutants). Some mod overrides Quest script so it spawns vanilla mutants anyway. So you should switch mods off before going near Sydney and try and try again.

If you won't be able to determine the mod, I can help you (as I said earlier) but that will require time. If you manage to determine the esp which causes problems, please report to the thread so I can add this mod to "Black list"

He is set to be player companion by TTW - I won't change TTW stuff.

 

You should name your debug logs too by the way!

 

 

 

Your bug is veeery strange. Kidnap scene can be only triggered by running quest script but script can't possibly run if you are playing male character.

I created special condition for player being male. Also I added debug message which shows the moment quest starts for male player.

Cal you please load male character playthrough before talking to Sydney and tell me exact moment you see the message appear on the screen.

EDIT :ALSO PLEASE CAPTURE DEBUG LOG THAT MOMENT.

"MS15 quest starts for male player - REPORT THE MOMENT TO THE MOD AUTHOR PLEASE"

I won't release the update yet - download esp from here please. It's still labeled as Hotfix99.

Side note - Redid the declaration quest as a female and it worked fine, except now Sydney keeps appearing every time I change location..

 

the 'following' bug is a FO3/TTW bug for non-vanilla followers. You can fix this as follows:

 

Go to Underworld (Sydney will follow you)

 

When inside Underworld, open console (~), select  Sydney by clicking on her and type the following in the console:

 

setplayerteammate 0

 

She will then pick up her normal 'sandbox' behaviour and stops following you

BogBrush82, I'm out of ideas why that might happen. (Mutants "OnDeath" script sets variables "+1" and then after  variable is 5 (5 mutants dead) this happens)

Stage 40 is clean. I don't know what starts Loogie's custom Rotunda quest. I'll just make another condition which will end quest for male player character and Sydney won't be kidnapped.

 

EDIT: Also I recommend disabling TTW_Reputation - I don't remember why but I added it to incompatible mod list.

Im all confused now is she supposed to get kidnapped after you travel to rivet city to turn in the quest.   I played female and I dont think that happened.  Also where does the debug log save to i tried to make one but couldnt find where it went.

no. Kidnap triggers when she is not in the same cell with player in case  player decided to exit national archives (playing female). When sex scene is ended, quest stops and she can;t be kidnapped.

But that issue which is reported by BogBrush happens for male player. She is kidnapped on her way to River city because she goes iseparate ways with player character.

 

Debug log is located in main Fallout folder.

I think i did these right. Both files are from the last marcus quest while meeting him in the trenches.  One where the scene wont start and and one where it starts for npc's but not player and just loops.  two different saves one the first is a fresh playthrough of the quest another is a load of the second problem.

I'm really sorry but can you capture debug logs again? It looks like I forgot to add Citadel quest to mod export list. FIle is tagged as "Hotfix101".

 

 

I'm interested in debug log, captured at any moment after Marcus conversation. Thanks.

Nomenklacher, Please specify  - Did any sex started for NPC or player for last debug log? It shouldn't but I'm checking just in case.

 

Try this file. It seems like you  stucked at Sexout ActorsinUse check. I removed nested eval conditions, Tell me if that works for you.

It didnt start for anyone on the last or current esp.  Both times I loaded a save outside the bunker updated the mod in the mcm, saved,  exited and restarted the game before trying it.  This time the player wasnt frozen in place after the dialogue.

I think there is something wrong with your Sexout because log shows that Marcus and Player are both locked by Sexout but sex hadn't started yet. (that's why sex can't start)

 

You know how to cast SexoutFinishNow spell, right?

You go to console, click on actor and then type "cios xxyyyyyyy" where xxyyyyyyy are numbers which are spammed in console in every game load.

 

I suggest you:

 

1)disable Sexout

2)Load savegame

3)Save again

4) Enable Sexout

5) Try again  -if that doesn't help - cios Sexout Finish now spell on all of actors  (all girls + all mutant + Player character + Marcus)

6)???

7) Should be profit

 

 

If this doesn't help then... I don't know.. I would capture debug log for Sexout using con_scof and enabling log in Sexout MCM menu and then sent it to pridelsayer. But if Sexout vars are stucked -  I don't know how to fix that - maybe he will help you
