Hi, I'm a user of sl163. Can I ask a question? I used hentairim before, and the most painful thing for me was having to go through a long wait for SLATE every time I started a new game, not to mention that SLAnimloader also required a long wait. So, does SLOVE no longer require configuring SLATE when starting a new game? (I've tried countless times to switch to SLP+, but all attempts failed without exception, so I had no choice but to use SL163.)

Also, I almost forgot to mention that I carefully reviewed your GitHub for hentairim, but I still have some questions. Do I only need to keep the Hentairim tags? And regarding the "DD gag" audio for hentairim, should it still be kept?

have only ran into one thing so far that, while a little jarring at first, is actually amusing: skeevers seem to use werewolf sounds. . .  . .. . . lol

Had a look. It's not just skeevers, it's anything that isn't mapped to C1-10. The default voices for any other creature (rieklings, skeevers, even seekers) will default to C0 which is full of sabrecats and bear sounds. 🤣 (I thought it was werewolf at first myself.)

Drop by SKSE\Plugins\AudioUtil\config\SLOVE_voices.toml. Make your way to line 761. This is the C0 default fallback section. Comment out all voices there under orgasm (and/or breathing if you didn't disable it). This will stop the basic noises being played on... "release".

I tried also turning off breathing in the main .toml as well but if you comment out the fallback to silence, that shouldn't matter. This way it should play proper sounds for proper creatures, and nothing at all for stuff it's not setup for.

The tagging system for Hentairim and SLOVE are exactly the same.  So if you're asking if you need to rebuild a different action log than you used with Hentairim, then no.  But SLOVE does use the Hentairim tags just as much.  So avoiding the SLATE process is a no-go.  I feel your pain with the time though.  I'm on 1.66 with SLU+ (which is what really slows it down), so each new start is quality time with a book for me.  :)

I haven't looked deeply into it, but Crajjjj said there was some optional modularity instructions if you wanted some of the old Hentairim functions (Clothing system was specifically referenced there).  But if you're just looking at Voice/expressions, then you don't need anything else from Hentairim setup except the tags (and old voice pack if you don't see your preferred one converted to SLOVE).

The DD gag Hentairim plug-in isn't needed with SLOVE.  It's basically incorporated into the base, as opposed to as an add-on.

Getting a weird bug where occationally the PC voice will just drop out during a scene and never come back.  Seems to be if I manually change stage or scene, or if apropos2 changes scene, but not sure.  What log would be most useful to diagnose?

Yeah, this keeps happening. Anyone else seeing this?

This is probably very complicated to do, but just an idea:

When the tongue appears, if the mouth is open very wide it looks unnatural, because the tongue sits at the top part of the mouth.

If the mod could dynamically lower the tongue position to match the expression, that would be amazing.

Also, similar problem but from a different angle - sometimes when the tongue is already added, some of the expressions close the mouth, and then the tongue becomes clipped.

If it would be possible to either prevent these expressions when the tongue is active, or dynamically remove the tongue when the mouth becomes closed, and re-add it when it opens again.

Anyway, just some suggestions! Thank you for the amazing work that you do and all the time/effort you put into this... it really shows in the final result!

Also curious

@Distortedrealms

It's an optional download from the AudioUtil mod page.  To quote:

"Browser tool for previewing/tuning AudioUtil lipsync and editing MFG expression presets — no game needed. Load a wav+.lip or .fuz to watch the mouth animate and see the phoneme timeline (with live pseudo-phoneme tuning ); or drop a StorageUtil json"

How do one  Changes Voice volumes and where  anyone knows ??

Volume control is in the SLOVE.toml, under the [Voice] heading.

Even the new lowered defaults are pretty loud for me (setups of course vary).  I have my volumes down to 30 personally.

Does this mod have a bunch of different voices or are they all the Japanese pedo sort of screeching as shown in the preview videos?

I tried to disable ahegao in the .toml, but it seems to still be happening. Oddly, when I tested M/F scenes, the male actor was the one sticking his tongue out while the female actor was not lol

2 bug reports:

Player and NPCs dont open mouth in Creature Oral Animations and are talking.

Second is with Companions in werewolfs forms - human male grunt sounds are played with this excessive periodical cumshot sounds and from i gather from config file werewolfes are supported.

Also still isuue with tongues not being equiped as mentioned before.

Im on 1.5.97 and 1.63 SL ofc.

what a great mod, but im having some issues with the blowjob animations (using classic sexlab), the player keeps closing her mouth during a b lowjob animation, the mouth closes with every moan i think, is there something i can tweak in the configs to change this?

i already installed hentairim tags and ran the slate recording

I tested it myself, and I found that the tongue only appeared for subjects in a dominant position—not just men.

echo to the weird ahegao problems

i'm also noticing that "voice_no_interrupt =" appears to have no effect on either setting. voice lines are not finishing, they are getting cut out early, whether this is true or false. Specifically, Orgasm and NearOrgasm is being interrupted with 'Oh' sounds 100% of the time. even if that folder is empty, in which case the prior sound just ends prematurely.

EDIT: slight expansion on the above. the 'Oh' sounds interrupting is resolved by setting only moans off. for some reason. the NearOrgasm sounds are still interrupted by Orgasm in that case, irrespective of interrupt settings

Lilliy and Killi are the best for me. They are voices from the Subverse game. English. Though you could replace any sound with your own or even delete sounds. So no, not all "J Pedo"

Loving the mod - although I did run into an issue with the MFEE ahegao face with the Erin race. I noticed the Erin specific config in the mod settings so I tweaked it to enable but when the ahegao face triggers, the mouth opens super wide and the tongue sticks straight out. Definitely very strange behavior.

None of the anal comments are activating for me. Using the Karryn voicepack and can see there are plenty of audio files. Get the same vaginal comments even if it's an anal scene. Using PPA if that makes a difference.

The fix for me was to set chancetostickouttongueduringattacking = 0 in the SLOVE.toml. Disables aggressor sticking out tongue.

Yes.  You must use SLATE.

SLP+ conversion is a pain because you need to turn off ALL of other mods that you have somehow gotten to work well.  SL tools, SLSO, animsearch, SLAL, etc.   Then you need to find and install the SLSB packs (for each author and an automated pack from the discord).  Then run Pandora again.

If you do get it to work, it loads faster and aligns better (although there are still problems with furniture). The biggest downside is that the interface is really SLOW to navigate, the hotkeys you are used to (and worked so well) either aren't there or hard to get to work, and the sltools animation search you used to pick another animation isn't available (it's a slow slog in the Pplus interface).

I have creature voices working well, with subtitles.

Adding creature voices;

Create a mycreatures.toml file and put it into the right place in the slove folder.
The first ten (C1, C2, etc. default in the system to existing wav files in basic skyrim), see the instruction site for the list.
I added new ones (C11, C12, etc.) for creatures not covered (i.e., rieklings, spiders, skeletons, etc.).
I replaced falmer with my own (C3).

I grabbed some voice files wav from some creature voice mods and renamed them.
I then added a toml for the voice line (see below), numbering the tomls to match the wav files.

I might need to extend the wav files a bit with blank space to make the subtitles last longer (a timer would be nice).

One problem I need to figure out, I can't get the subtitles to work in sexlab freecam (my goto for free floating camera).  It works when the camera is locked in.  Voices play in both modes.

Another problem I have:  I can't get the talking lip sync to work reliably.  I usually get great expressions and voice (although they sometimes break to default Sexlab), but the real talking lip sync is always a no go.  The facial changes seem to be driven more by emotional changes than anything else.

I've tried turning off PPA expressions (I had it limited to oral since it did a good job in that mode with hentairim) and no joy.

Is it GTsoftbody SML mouth?  That plus ppa oral expression (before the SMP fix was added in the latest GT release) worked amazingly well for oral.

I've turned off emotions, lip synch, refresh in Sexlab.
Is it the free camera (it doesn't matter in Hentairim, so it shouldn't here).

Not sure if SLSO settings matter, but there may be a problem since the widget doesn't show anymore (I've never seen a recommendation on what SLSO settings should be).

I've played with the Mukuro toml with the Mukuro voices files added (apparently the favorite voice for many), and created the gag folders/wavs.  Everything seems to be working except for talking lip sync.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Got it working after refactoring my expression mods.  Even with the lipsync maxed out in the TOML, it doesn't move as much as I'd like, but it is working.

Hello, I'm on SL 1.63 and a bit lost on the whole SLATE and tag database portion as I haven't used SLATE before. I downloaed the updated hentairim tags from a few pages back but don't know how to actually use it and apply them to the animations
