i play a male-character, and whenever i try to start a solo-animation, it dosn't work, i have text saying something along the lines of "AnimEvent not found" or something.
which is strange because i tried other animations in Debug-mode, and it seem to be working perfectly fine.
did i miss something, or is there just not jacking-off animations for male-characters?

If there is no animation for that action, it won't start.

first question: how are you supposed to trigger thoses scenes organically, beside beating wild Pals until they submit/getting submitted by pals?

You can always start or control animations with these.

second question: there's a mod called "Loving Pal" that seem to give you a nice organic way to start scenes with your Pals, but it dosn't seem to work, i guess it's hasn't been updated to 1.0 yet?

The mod is working, but you need to reach a arousal level to trigger animations. You can change it in the mods settings.

third: is there no impregnation/breeding mod yet? no mods to impregnate/breed Pals yourself, or get bred by Pals?

I think it's in a work in progress, if you look inside S-Cake options there is a panel for that, but it says "not implemented", so it's a mater of time i guess. 😄

is there any way to get nude npc-s or npc trainers

there's this one for zoe and lily and replaces some of the different npc's with nude zoe and lily

okay, that means there are no male solo-animations, that kinda sucks, but thanks for telling me.

so submission is the only-way to activate a scene organically i guess, since what you just quoted was the debug actions.

alright thanks for making it clear, happy to know the mod works.
do you think you might be able to to point to mods with mechanics in your guide for players like me who likes to add sub-mechanics?

yeah i noticed it, i'll be waiting for that because to me it seem like a obvious mod to create.

thanks for the help dude, have a good evening/day

I got my problem fixed with the help of another user thank you for you help as well! Is there any chance you can tell me where you got the T-Box mods from?

Having an issue, specifically with Palicious' combat submission. I can start animations through other means, so that's all working fine.

Whenever an npc does the submit thing in while I am in combat with them, it simply strips my gear and leaves me unable to attack further while the npc continues to attack me as normal. I tested with npcs that I know have animations, as well as with the aggressive animation setting off.

Edit: Player submission is borked too, just strips my ass naked. Still lets me attack as normal though, so that's different.

Anyone else have this issue? I am not smart when it comes to this stuff. Or in general

Edit 2: Found the issue methinks. Think npcs need to be past a certain arousal threshold. The more you know.

The thread indicates it hasn't been updated for SCake 7? It seems like even with arousal requirement disabled, it does not activate. Tried with twice the required pet actions (+1) according to heat settings. Don't know what I might be doing wrong.

Tbox discord somewhere in the json spam is a palmagic files for their Pal dressing facility mod.

I installed everything correctly, as far as I know, as Unipal, Alter, etc, all load correctly. I hit Shift+Y and the menu shows up showing everything except SCake. I have it installed properly, and its not showing up for some reason. Every other mod is working except SCake.

I am using UE4SS from the Steam Workshop, I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I assume not since everything else is working. But I could be wrong.

ue4ss manual and ue4ss steam have two different file paths. check if its actually in the steam ue4ss path and not the manual one which would be in the pal/binaries/win64/... for manual and Mods/managedmods(?) file path for steam

its generally better to just use a manual/vortex installations of ue4ss, I have no clue if non steam ue4ss mods even work through that filepath. but its less of a headache overall in terms of debugging help.

Its actually very easy to get this going with Vortex. Modders don't seem to understand/know/care about the Mod type drop down in the actual manager that assigns mods to their correct areas.

Most just put the mod in "Mod name folder" when they can just set modtype to:

  • direct palworld directory(steam) = ...\commons\palword
  • paks = ...\paks\~mods
  • logicmods = ...paks\~logicmods
  • ue4ss = ...\ue4ss\mods
  • etc....

Atm the only one that requires greater effort to install through vortex is Palschema requirement mods because there's no auto assign to that area.

Thank you! I am going to try again!

Just know that, there WILL be a few mods you will have to manually add folders to after downloading and updating. Its on the modders for not bothering to put the minimal file paths. But again this should primarily be for Palschema required mods. But if you install something and It doesn't work its probably not correctly assigned.

so basically the trouble shoot order would be:

  1. install through nexus
  2. Ue4ss for vortex unpack(as-is) it will fire up and error on game start otherwise
  3. if a mod doesn't work and is up to date the fill path is incorrect
  4. if its a palschema mod or its requires palschema do it manually

Its working now. While it wasn't in "managedmods", the correct path for the Steam version was "Palworld/Mods/NativeMods/UE4SS/Mods". Thank you, I didn't even think to try there.

yeh i figured it was one of the two, good to know it does work with steam ue4ss

On my computer, installing S_Cake in Palworld/Mods/NativeMods/UE4SS/Mods prevents animations from registering. If it were that simple to get it to work properly, I wouldn’t still be testing ways to run two instances of UE4SS simultaneously—a setup that consistently crashes.

I wouldn't really know anything about that, there's not really even a point to even use steam mods in my opinion outside of china game mods, especially for nsfw mods and their requirements.

I was surprised it even worked for them honestly. You'd prob have to talk to the creator of SCake to see if there are some file paths that can be fiddle with to make it plug and play through the Native directory, if there are those kind of files in it.

Edit: The current steam Ue4ss mod seems to be outdated(?)
Edit2: try this https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3625223587/592936492464308919/ if you havent already, this is the version I use.

Workshop is decent for some stuff, primarily for turning mods on and off. It came out too late for people to really wanna use it in general, since Nexus has the bulk of them.

I assume the mod should work regardless if its manual or through Steam, as UE3SS should be working as intended as long as its properly installed in the main folder as the exe. Which it is.

Other then a single animation breaking, and the huge pals being a bit awkward, the game is working perfectly fine. The animation breaking is because of the animation mod, and the big pal issue is because its a bigger pal. Not a single crash so far.

The problem is that if I use only the UE4SS from the Steam Workshop, only “Sugar Cake” has issues—all other mods work fine. If I use only the manually installed UE4SS, I have to give up all my Workshop mods; even if I place those Workshop mods in the `Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods` folder, they still won’t work. Running both UE4SS instances works—I was even lucky enough to reach Level 60—but the situation is too complicated. Occasional crashes or the game failing to launch might be caused by conflicts between the two UE4SS instances or between mods. I’ve been looking for a more stable solution. Fortunately, there aren’t any Pals in the later areas that support sex animations, so maybe I should wait a few years before coming back

Why are you even trying to use 2 ue4ss? The guy above you seems to be doing fine with Scake in the steam ue4ss mod path.

Probably a stupid question, but I've seen everywhere that people give instructions to install their mods manually instead of using Vortex. Can we use Vortex or should we really install the mods manually?

p sure NSFW should be manual, and i think vortex is unreliable for it bc ive read a lot of posts where the issue was that they were using vortex instead of mod organizer 2, but most mod authors tell you where to dump the files, so unless youre adding like a thousand mods or some shit its easier to just add them manually (plus the dreaded 'mod was automatically placed in the wrong spot, good luck finding which one' moments are best avoided lol)

Like a little bit humanoid like and boobs and such ?

You want T-box's models. These are meant to be kept a bit more on model.

In that case, I’ll have to completely reinstall all the files to figure out what’s going on. The mod isn’t fully developed yet, so now’s the perfect time to wait.

Can't you just drag and drop your UE4SS\mods folder into steams ue4ss directory. Or are you also using vortex?
