First of all those animations are well done, great work. :)

Ā

However I am having trouble trying to get the female werewolf animations to work in my game. I have read many different posts and looked on other threads "More Nasty Critters" etc but I cant seem to get it too work. No offence to anyone who tried to explain certain aspects on how to get individual animations in the game, I just got confused with all the "clutter".

Ā

If someone with the know how could go through a step by step guide to get these animations to work in game I would be most grateful thanks E.g What mods/files too download, where too put the files,Mod load orders, how to activate the animations etc.

Ā

I am new to all this and require help , thanks. Again great work :)

From an animation side of things, ( I haven't tried one yet ) the things I can see being a problem are:

Ā

The dragons sheer size. You need a big open area for one to land and if it isn't flat, you'll have positioning issues. It's actually difficult to find a large flat area in Skyrim devoid of rocks, trees and other obstacles :)

Ā

In comparison to their playmate, the dragons sheer size lol Shrink one down and we can talk about it, but at full size a dragons genetalia ( sp ) is larger than a human. It may be possible to scale them down, but the game engine doesn't like the animators playing with scaling or the reverse where the game scales them down but the animator aligned the pairing with the full sized critter ( my guess as to the issues with the chaurus which is why it tries to resize every stage )

Ā

There really isn't a difference in difficulty animating between the critters ( with the exception of those who have tails, they're a pain in the ass ) unless the mesh doesn't conform to the motion very well. ( I have looked into the cow btw, it falls into this category along with the netch ) The only way to determine that is to try one out and see.

I'm not really one to try and manually edit a game, I last tried that with Morrowind way back when. But, as a friend of mine said, If I want something bad enough, I have to put forth an effort. If you need a scaled down wingless dragon or just a scaled down Dragon, I'll download the editor tools and see what I can do, with zero experience.

Amazing work, dragons and skeevers are a bit much, like you said its a lot of man hours for something that all the settings must be just right to work for, and the likely hood of these being used a lot are pretty rare with out a summon spell for them. I love that some one finally tackled the fire atronach though, I would love to see a sprigan one as well, but that would probably require a moder to make a more loverslab friendly mesh for them I suppose.

Ā

I can't wait to see a modder get some use out of these, so sick of seeing a million mods for animals and creatures raping females I miss the joy of Oblivion when I would hunt for exotic women to bone, not this trend of wanting to get raped by trolls and dogs. Bad enough the idea of a slave system for the player to use on NPCs suppose to being enslaved is nothing more then a pipe dream so I can capture and collect beautiful exotics like I did in Oblivion. I played it like a fucked up pokemon my goal to capture all the exotic females I could.

What happens if you shrink the dragon down to be small enough to work during the entire scene? It's magic! :-p

Of course it is, classic dragon lore, not skyrim lore, states that they could do a wide array of shape changing things, including turning into humans and copulating. That being the case, I see no reason why it can't apply here too ;)

Assuming the curve values are actually in "bone-space" like they're supposed to be, and that I'm understanding "bone-space" correctly, I think I have everything to finally assemble the armature tracks now. Still have absolutely no clue how I'm going to get that baked to a compressed NURBS surface that havok will use, but at least the FBX part is all but done.Ā  In retrospect, going with FBX was a terrible, terrible idea, but at least I know never to use FBX for anything ever again.

Playing around with your Skeever Dentarr.Ā

Ā

This little guy has a lot of control available to him.Ā  Tongue, jaw, ears, all digits, even some eyelid and lip bones. Playing with the mesh to see what it can handle.Ā

Ā

Here's a female variant concept, probably not what folks are expecting ( and may get the same eye bleach as my poor chicken ) but it's only a concept at this point.Ā  Positioning only, no animation.

Ā

Yet . . . . <_<

Do they not work at all ? Do any of the animations in Dentarr's mod work for you ? What happens when you try to start up an animation ? Oh and what version of SexLab are you running ?

FBX being a pain in the ass is it ? lol

Ā

The fun part is realizing the different variants of FBX out there. They pretty much release a new one every year :/

Ā

Not quite. I use a mod that adds hatchling and young dragons to 'nest' areas. Those hatchlings that are about the size of a Skeever have a hitbox the size of a regular dragon. You can barely melee them cause cause you're pressed up against an invisible wall out of range.

I've thought about this but I don't know what the game engine will do with a half pint dragon. For giggles, I'll scale one down in Max and see what it does in game. If it works, I'll just throw a purple or black paint job on there and name em Spyro or Cynder :D

Inspired perhaps, but unlikely modified. Is actually a lot of work to modify an existing animation. Can be done, but is a pain to clear out keys and modify the motion. Easier to do from scratch unless you're trying to fix a problem ( like alignment or something ).

Ā

Inspiration is cool. It gets others interested in this stuff :)

Heh, love the Atronach animations i'm glad to see someone making animations for the critters of skyrim, just need to wait for some modder out there to put them to use so i can actually see it without the Preview files on the main page.

For the Atronach, try Dentarr's More Nasty Critters mod.Ā

Just happened upon that like 12 minutes after i posted the comment, though it'll work for now. heck i think i might take a look at the FAQ for the framework to see if i can create an addon for somthing like Sexlab Defeat and or Dialouge based activation for summoned Atronachs.

So i have some Questions Dayelyte, these were wolf female animations are downloadable separately and they are .hkx files i see and they look most amazing by the way, where exactly do i place these and how do you initiate them in-game? (or do these require a whole bunch of other mods for these to even work correctly?) also is is compatible with the HDT physics engine? And also does this spawn female were wolfs in- game?Ā

I've managed to get the animations working finally, but the only problem that remains is in my skyrim directory character assets folder there is no female werewolf body only male. Do I need to download something extra?

Ā

Edit: Managed to fix this by downloading the female werewolf mod of the nexus. I used the console command "sexchange" to activate the female skin, but when the female werewolf animation starts the werewolf goes back to its male skin. Any help?

Well my mod does work with Defeat. Even with hostile Atronach. I tried last week.

Ā

And it offers Hentai Creatures that will, amongst others, offer you an Atronach (that wont time out) and that you can talk to.

Ā

So, yeah, all in the readme (which, I know, nobody reads)Ā

I know, nobody reads a thread with 50+ pages... but the post directly above?Ā  :dodgy:

Ā

Short answer: yes, you need mods to add them and you need models to show them.Ā

Chuckle.

Ā

The animations are only that, just the animation files. You will need a mod that utilizes them ( Dentarr's does I believe ) and you will need the female WW skins if you want the WW to be female.

Ā

I believe HDT files are out there for the werewolves, but I can't say for certain as I don't utilize HDT myself.

Ā

Spawning a female WW has always been an issue in game as Bethesda pretty much made the critters gender neutral. There are some WW mods out there that may do it, but for testing purposes ( I rarely have time to actually play Skyrim anymore lol ) I will typically use the console to hit one with a sexchange command.

Ā

Well I took a close look at the female Werewolf problem and I now have something that should get everybody his/her Werewolfgal.Ā

I dont want to repeat everything here so if you are using my mod check the support thread and follow the steps and you should be fine.

Ā

And sorry to all who pointed out to me that it was screwed up in my mod and got ignored... I did use the sexchange command in console myself and after adding the femal werewolf spell I realized that something actually didnt work as it should IF you didnt use my exact loadorder which probably nobody was.Ā  :P
