raeder87 Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) Just fast checked the topic and seeing all those huge lists of animals what should appear here too... idk, i mean realistically how many people are interested in insects or chickens and other uncommon or even rare variants? If more race will appear the dialogs will always start to move to a generic sexlab matcher level: -"you, X, sex with Y" -"yes, i go with X", aaaand action. A more focused approach with less creatures but with greater depth would be nice. The female npcs, i hope they will have background story to explore +personality. Some can be nasty others might be shy at first so some corruption with other npcs help is needed. Personally i like exploring other characters, places, regions. What i liked the previous version: am redux? maybe - lot of quest, repeatable ones, sidequests, training random female npcs and their canine friends. am4 - the writing, that one was the best. I hope this newmod can combine the previous 2 strong points. and a poll would be nice with multiple selections, just to see what the majority want so you wont waste your time with very unpopular species and we can get a version to play sooner Edited March 29 by raeder87

In the vanilla version, is a pity that the race only triggers once I hope there will be more quest expansions for the Companions in the new version—like swapping the racing tool for a horse, or just having a few more orgies. Honestly,after the quest dialogue ends,fast-traveling to the Companions and seeing a group of people naked, telling you they also love beasts and inviting you to a beastly race—that's the most exhilarating part.

The plan is for the companions’ contest to be just like in the original, but it will also be repeatable afterwards, with the chance that the PC might lose or win a particular round, so it doesn’t end up with the PC always winning or something.

I can imagine some plots like a father/son catch his daughter/mother being a staff or customer in the manor. And some plots about relationship of staffs: - Some girls talk scenes in the dormitory. - A staff's dinner to celebrate the success of business. Everyone talked about some past experiences, informations from customers or quirks of some customers. Then everyone get drunk and someone mess up——he/she let a beast get out of cage and run to the town. unfortunately, the beast rape a resident then make the manor in legal dispute. in the end the PC and staffs solved the problem by their own talents. I am not a native speaker. hope my words are roughly correct.

For the first version, we’re planning four main quests plus some mini side quests, but only time will tell how much we’ll actually manage to get done in time for a public release I’d also suggest not installing any other versions of Animal Mansion, or only doing so to remind yourself what they were like, so you can see the changes that have been made in Animal Mansion Reborn. When’s the release? We’re not announcing the date, but I’ll let know a few days beforehand 2

I won't say I read every page of this thread but a few suggestions: Please keep the bear chasing part from AM4 that was amusing. I know most of us are here to sex everything, but a shorter creature list would be better. Keep the mod from bloating. And keep some immersion in the mod. *Dogs *Horses *Wolves *Bears *Skeevers *Friendly werewolves or werebears Past those you really kind of run into trouble with taming or keeping the unlisted animals and creatures from wanting to eat the other animals and creatures. That and some of the animations for other animals and creatures are poor or flat out jank. Rabbits and spiders are great examples, as rabbits usually never animate and spiders never stop animating. Though a room full of horny bunnies sounds like a amusing scene... Spiders and Chaurus could also be a problem if people have the Chaurus and Spider Estrus mods with the option to allow for the infestation. The shorter list keeps generally to those with the most animations as well as animations for male creature on male human or male human on female creature. The dialog was a lot better in AM4, still needed a little work. I think keeping the dialog focused more on the PC being a willing participant instead of some rando helping Thaena makes more thematic sense. I would be happy to help write dialog, if wanted. I've got over a thousand pages of writing on SoFurry or FurAfinity for examples. I liked the Companions gifting a wolf, I can't think of a better way to get a wolf and it easily allows for the werewolves later. Having to travel to the different stables to get the horse was also a good quest. That guy in Markarth really liked fuckin, really understood people. lol After the animals are gathered, the PC should be able to make some coin doing public or private shows. Maybe that could also allow for things like sabercats, spiders, or trolls, too dangerous for others, but for a private audience the PC could indulge them.

I think that if he were well-fed and taught how to interact with humans, he would be willing to be tamed. Otherwise, we’d have to rewrite the story/mod from scratch. Admittedly, it's a challenge to incorporate some creatures in the mansion in an immersive way. However, this will be made easier by the layout of the new mansion. It has areas outside of the mansion for potential creature habitats. Other options include creatures in other locations, summoned creatures, and (intelligent) creatures visiting the mansion. 1

I like the flow of the intro and then the follow up for the first three animals. For the skeevers, I think them getting into the basement is the simplest idea. They are just big rats, after all. The PC or Theana just has to say they are cute, one or both can offer them cheese and sex and you have friendly skeevers. You could limit their number just with something as simple as the PC or Theana pointing to a pile of rocks and speculating the skeevers just got trapped; then give the kill or food/sex option. I like Wolfen09's first version of the spriggan, as it brings them to the player. And that would also work for the Werewolves, Werebears, Vampire Lord with death hound and maybe the dragon. It keeps from having to modify cells to spawn the NPCs, which cuts down on having mod conflicts with mods that also alter the space. It also leads itself to the natural increase in traffic to the mansion as it becomes more famous. If people are down with getting freaky with a werebear, then the Vampire Lord might give it a go. It fits with the idea of the lord figuring out how to feed himself from willing sex partners. You could even expand upon that with Jesper, the Vampire Lord might be fond of his music for some reason. For the spiders and chaurus, I think the quest should give the option to keep the content in for people who want it and permanently disable the content for those who do not want it. The tenth most downloaded mod looking for spider mods, removes all of the insects from the game. The spider silk is a really good quest starting point, and a single victim for the Falmer and chaurus is likely the easiest and simplest. I am not a fan of using books, kind of makes this mod too much like Animal Research, which is a fun mod in itself. I think having some of the sentient creatures find the PC, at certain points of this mod's quests makes the world feel more alive, like your actions actually matter. Maybe the werewolf or werebear in their travels heard stories of a lady that knows how to tame saber cats. The Vampire Lord knows gargoyles can't resist the charms of a naked male or female.

We'll have to find a way to unlock the basement ^^ So we decided that the skeevers would be fine in this case, and it would also be a chance to kill them all or just some of them (since some were aggressive) and add them to the show. The dragon is treated solely as a side quest or repeatable task, because adding a dragon to the Mansion would be impossible. I'm not sure, but I don't think I've mentioned anywhere about using books in AMR <think>. Werewolf won't be changed, but we might still make some changes to the Warebear Vampire Lord, or it could be added as a side quest or a repeatable quest. 1

Hmm, that's an interesting idea, but I think it would just end up looking like a regular sabre cat... Maybe it could have a different fur pattern, or just be a bit bigger (not too much) than the other sabre cats in Skyrim.

Allowing the Vampire to be out during the day, allows him to spawn in on a PC fast travel, either to the Mansion or city any time of day. Perhaps two in game days after other quests have been completed. He has heard rumors or first hand accounts of the mansion and Introduces himself to the PC after asking if the PC is from the mansion. Though he would like to talk to the player a little further out of earshot if spawned in a city. If spawned at the mansion, he fully introduces himself as a vampire lord and explains how he has learned to feed off sexual energy (better term later). The vampire should be dressed more as a noble or aristocrat instead of the normal vampire outfit. Having freed himself of the need for blood he sees himself above those still drinking blood. Understandable. They were fluff ideas to fill the NPC out a little more.
