I do not know about the parent locations relationships? Not much to do with anything but just curious on how some mod like SLSF reloaded may be handled... I tend to add new locations (villages) into it. Good question. I'm not certain how SLSF Reloaded ties fame to locations. In any case, the mansion interior and surrounding exterior cells all have a "Mansion" location, which has as a parent the vanilla Falkreath location, which has the parent Falkreath Hold location, which has the parent Tamriel location. I'm not certain if that will make the Mansion use SLSF Falkreath fame or not. I'm guessing it would. If this is not desired, we could create a new "Borderlands" location, with a parent Tamriel location. In any case, the mansion is not part of any crime faction. Relatedly, the mansion should probably be given the LocTypeTAPBrothel keyword. That keyword will prevent negative comments on nudity from SLSF Fame Comments. Also, the mod locations all have the relevant "LocType" keywords to condition SLSF Fame Comments and other comment mods correctly. More spoilerly comments: Spoiler Meanwhile, the town is setup like vanilla Skyrim towns. Each building has its own location, with a parent location of the "Elinhir town" location. The town exterior cells also have the "Elinhir town" location, which has a parent "Hammerfell" location, which in turn has as a parent the vanilla Tamriel location. I'm not sure which location SLSF Reloaded picks in a parent-child chain when you select a new location to accrue fame. I assume it picks the location level where you currently are standing. So, in the case of the town, it would make sense to set an SLSF fame location while standing outside in the town, and not inside a building. 3

Yes, you'd likely want the LocTypeTAPBrothel keyword not that being called derogatory names mattered much to my PC, she's been called enough of them she's desensitized. I do not know if you want any crime factions unless you have some jail to put people in? If you add a jail in Elinhir maybe? Commit a crime in most villages, give up then you'll end up miles away in the city jails. Bad enough vanilla some creatures like dogs, chickens report... they'll rat you out like a skeever unless you remove those from that with a mod. (Spent a night in Falkrieth jail getting raped by the guards for picking a lock and robbing some items in Granite Hill, I know it was that damn chicken spilled the beans for picking the lock, they found the stolen goods afterwards adding to the fine. I would had paid the fine if I had got to a fence in time to sell the loot or solicited a few tricks.) 😂 SLSF Reloaded will roll up as you noted to the parent fame as far as I know, like SLSF had. I'm not sure if SLSF reloaded allows user adding locations, I'd have to look. SLSF had allowed user entered locations... i.e. I had added Skaal Village and Pargran (a village mod) for example. The McM allowed for the user to add the locations and they'd in turn be tracked separate.... iow you could even make an interior such as the Bannered Mare it's own location in old SLSF if you wanted. As for the mansion's parent that's up to you, Broderlands or even place it in Elinhir, beastiality, etc... fame will all be going to Falkrieth as is as, maybe you're okay with that or not? I'm not sure if that mod and SLSF Comments Reloaded are worth the hard drive space. They don't really add much, and I never see any dialog past the same two lines repeated even if my character hasn't had sex in several in game days. I know if you are using Fertility Mod Reloaded, it does not register with SLSF Reloaded.

I know if you are using Fertility Mod Reloaded, it does not register with SLSF Reloaded. SLSF Fame Comments (my mod) will basically give you no comments without nudity, bondage, fame or cum. But, if you have other sex mods that are increasing your PC's fame, stripping your PC, or covering your PC with cum, then you should get lots of comments from the mod. If not, something is wrong. As for pregnancy fame, I never knew what to do with it. The first issue is for SLSF Reloaded: what would cause fame to accrue - just being pregnant? Being pregnant multiple times? Being really pregnant? Then, if SLSF Reloaded worked that out, the comments still wouldn't make much sense if the comment mod can't determine if your PC is "visibly" pregnant. Your PC might have a lot of fame, but not actually be pregnant. Or your PC might be pregnant, but no one knows. The last issue is, what would people say? For most of Skyrim, I assume being pregnant is a happy occasion. Of course, comments might be different if the PC was unmarried, especially with multiple pregnancies (assuming that could be tracked). But now, to react, NPCs have to know if you're married or not, and I assume most married PCs don't walk around with wedding rings on. So, how would NPCs know? Anyway, too many issues that make immersive comments hard to write.

I think putting it in a Borderlands location is best. That way it will be a player choice if they want to assign the location to SLSF Reloaded (which you can do). 1

I know if you are using Fertility Mod Reloaded, it does not register with SLSF Reloaded. It sounds like you'd very little fame in anything... setting reasonable - to taste - settings in SLSF and that took a bit of toying around. Comments trigger on fame value levels, the higher the more you get for many fame comments it's around 20 fame or so (I'd have to look again). Also, The frequency at which comments occur also is set in SLSF not SLSFC. It does not surprise me the lack of comments when you had no sex in three days because Fame diminishes over time which is set in the McM and it's a calculation (unless you freeze it), There is also a contagion in it's system, iow you can set fame to spread from one location to others (basically I set high population locations to spread fame higher and lower populated locations to less) I added SLSFC mainly for the comments and then realized there was far much more than that to the mod, It adds in additional npcs, Npcs not only comment but approach and solicit you for services if you've whore or slut fame, plus a lot more, etc... I particularly enjoyed the Markarth quest. There's are marriage based quests (you can set up your sexual relationship with your spouse, likes to share, cuck, etc...) I've a habit of looking how mods are put together, loading them up in dev tools, etc... to see if I missed anything, In fact that was the mod which got me interested in @Gristle's other mods because he did such a great job with the scripts, eloquently written, tries to avoid conflicts with other mods - coded like a pro. i.e. Uses events to prevent sexlab calls from bumping into each other, etc... DoroLL Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Hi, Gristle. How many lines of text and dialogue will the AMR file end up having? I tried my hand at translating your Balazar's Bitch and Animal Research into japanese before, but I gave up on both about halfway through. Just imagine how difficult work it is to translate 10000 lines from a non native language into native tongue. As mentioned before, I really like the simplicity of original AM. Because, Even non native english speakers can translate it easily. For me, the original AM’s bugs being fixed, uncompleted quests being made complete, and the NPCs faces looking beautiful would be enough. If the AMR is going to be a 10000 lines text and dialog, could you please provide a light version that’s closer to the original AM?

If the AMR is going to be a 10000 lines text and dialog, could you please provide a light version that’s closer to the original AM? The current DEV version includes: - 4 main quests (Introduction, Dog, Wolf) - 272 PC dialogues - 828 NPC dialogues - Lots of other things - Adds 3 new staff members (more are planned) - Unfinished fast travel from inside the Mansion The Mansion itself will be much larger, mainly due to the number of staff planned, which was dictated by the number of creatures planned (Jala, Thaena and the PC are definitely not enough for these two people). I recommend checking the first post to see that Masnion isn’t the same size as the one in the original. It also has a different layout. AM is being written completely from scratch whilst retaining some elements and the flow of quests, so this won’t be a case of ‘bugs being fixed, uncompleted quests being made complete’. It is true that the original AM or the AM+ version had their issues, and fixing them could take a similar amount of time or adapting it to the mods currently in use as writing it from scratch. I’ve already commented on the facial appearance. A ‘Light’ version would probably not be feasible whilst the mod is being supported by new updates, and even once it’s finished, I doubt Gristle would be keen to support the same mod with some content removed.

I am sympathetic to the huge task of translating large mods, but the new AM as we've envisioned it (and started building it), is a lot more than just a bug-fix and clean up of unfinished AM quests. It's a ground-up redevelopment that's much larger in scope, more immersive, and a bit more advanced. It will feature more NPCs and more backstories. It also introduces an entirely new world area with many new NPCs. What you're looking for makes sense, but it's an entirely different effort. It wouldn't be feasible to create both versions of the mod. 1

But either way comments are pretty much either the "scratched and bitten all over" even with zero beast fame or cum inflation related even if Fill her up is disabled. Though I suppose people could mistake pregnancy with cum inflation if the PC had cum on them while with child.... Either way, not concerned about it. Just pointing out neither mod seemed to be working 100% for me.
killer905 Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 DEV Log: We have completed the following quests: Introduction Dog/Husky A mini-quest between the Dog/Husky and Wolf quests. Wolf Work has thus begun on the Horse quest. It will be the same or very similar to the one from the original AM, with a few changes. There will still be repeatable tasks to add that are related to creatures already. 13

Azatthot Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Are y'all just translating or adding new features along the way too?
killer905 Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 1 hour ago, Azatthot said: Are y'all just translating or adding new features along the way too? 90% of the mod is being rewritten from scratch. Some elements remain (such as the story of specific quests), while others are slightly modified or rewritten entirely. So it’s not just “translating.” 1
DoroLL Posted May 23 Posted May 23 (edited) Hi. I converted LE Animal Mansion 06E to SE. And replaced the potato face characters successfully. Probably works the same way with AMR too. Jala > Botox for Skyrim. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58030 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89635 Edited May 23 by DoroLL 1

You could start with your mod remove the old dependency, add the new dependency, change the form id's to match then in xEdit to see what other conflicts exist, There will be other conflicts because the npcs in AMR have their own factions, packages, and also their own bodies, likely more may different than that. There's also the possibility to just skypatch her head aesthetics in too. Oh word of warning also... the mod references eye and hair color (Jala's hazel eyes and dark hair - the PC mentions that). killer905 Posted May 30 Author Posted May 30 A few days have passed, with some issues resolved and others still pending, but as of now, the Horse quest is 80% complete, and the current DEV version ends with either negotiating a free horse or buying one and bringing it to the Mansion. We also plan to include repeatable quests related to Dog and Horse in the first public release (Wolf is not currently included in the repeatable quests). These are the quests familiar from the original version of Animal Mansion. 5

I do suggest anyone making mods replacing appearance keep some attributes close to the original. I'd noticed how in depth some of the dialog in the quest and stories are becoming. Not that it would hurt anything but the conversations may seem off or out of place if Jala were a blue eyed blond or redhead. i.e. Spoiler Spoiler "Stand-in Bitch" PC : "You're planning on breeding the dog?" Jala : "What? Oh, you mean... yes, I want to pick a dog that will be good at breeding. One with a large shaft, and lots of stamina." PC : "Do you already have a bitch?" Jala : "Uh... yes, I guess I do. But she's very ... particular about her mates. That's why I wanted to pick the best dog for her." PC : "And does she have hazel eyes, a cute nose, and inky black hair?" Jala : "What...? What are you suggesting?" Spoiler Of course most people know what Jala does but the details and background are elaborate and interesting. Edited May 30 by eflat01
