Thanks vm for the quick reply I've been trying to track down a problem with DM3 for a couple of days now, looking particularly at mods that I didn't have in previous games - in which DM3 worked as it's supposed to - where a new mod might change the way in which DM3's furniture access works. I'd been getting that message when scrolling over items, and on upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.3.2, the colour of that message seemed to change, so I thought I'd ask. But if you don't touch asset activations, I may well be barking up the wrong tree Thanks again DQW
agatharchides Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Hi, When I have this installed I get a hard CTD with no error message whenever I hit continue or new game. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I have none of the mods labelled incompatible but DD and I turned that off to no effect so I don't think it's that.

It could be certain files got corrupted during download/installation. Try downloading and installing again. It could be load order. My BP file is very high up my Vortex list (34). Even higher than SL (149) or ZAZ (137). Strange since those are requirements for my mod? I would expect them to have to load first...? What version of ZAZ do you use? It needs to be 8.0+ since I use certain items from it. People who use different versions tend to get crashes or other bugs. There could always be conflicts with other mods. Changing load order again might help with that. You would need to view crash logs/reports to see where the conflict is.

Someone who used 9.0 reported having issues with items like cuffs and collars not appearing or not unequipping when they should. Maybe you will have that problem, maybe not. If you do have problems with cuffs, collars, whips and furniture, not having 8.0+ will most likely be the cause.

Splintered_Lizard Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Trying out the mod for the first time. Love the concept and intro. However I do have an issue... for some reason after the initial initiation forced masturbation, the whipping scene does not proceed correctly. After PC walks to the pillory, for some reason, Kane starts the whipping but then just kinda... stands in his pose with arm raised, and nothing happens. I don't know what could interfere with it. I do have SL Defeat, but nothing else I think that would interfere. For example, whipping in Submissive Lola works fine. Please, what is the console command to proceed with it?

Do you have any mods that effect combat like MCO? People who use that often have that problem. SL Defeat would not do anything here because the whipping does no real damage and would not take the player down. It might be just a temporary bug. I sometimes have an issue where Kane backs up too far away from the player and then gets stuck and just stands there. You can make the scene proceed by disabling Kane and then enable him again.

Just folks who do use it report there being problems where whipping scenes don't work or it just takes FOREVER for the punishment to finish because there are long pauses between each strike. The disabling and enabling again doesn't end the scene, just that one whipping package. Kane should spank you 20 times, take a break to make a comment and then spank 20 more times (40 total). If you got stuck on the first barrage and disabled Kane then, he should still make his comments and get started on the second barrage. If you only had to disable him once, then at least one of the attack packages finished and you probably just had a temporary bug. If you had to disable him twice to get the scene to progress, then it is probably something more keeping attack packages from working.

Skyrim gender and SL gender should be the same thing unless you change settings or use other mods to make your characters do different things (like female actors taking male animation positions or vice versa). My characters are normal NPCs. If you use anything to change all vanilla NPCs in certain ways, it should work the same for mine.

Sexlab has a setting to override the PC Gender, so a femqle PC would take the male role in scenes. As an example, SLEN has a setting to account for it. I was just curious to see if running a futa character would work out. Again, really well done, I'm on my second playthrough and everything just works. I particularly like the fact that the PC can take very different attitudes toward the situation. My succubus was happy as could be, it was a veritable buffet for her. I'm at quest N°3 where Eleia tells your character to get cleaned up and talk to her on the first floor of the tavern, it's stage 7 for the quest BPQ03, the start of a new career, only that after reaching the first floor she doesn't do anything and then returns downstairs to the tavern. How do I fix it? I can advance the quest with the console of course. I have spoken to the other slaves, except for dale where I mistakenly exited the conversation.

Let's take you into my quarters and clean you up." Stage 7 starts at the beginning of that dialogue. When it finishes you should be at stage 10 and the scene should start. If you got to stage 7, the script is definitely working because they both use the same TIF script file. Something is going wrong at the end of that dialogue. Make sure it finishes properly. Try not to rush it. A few folks have reported bugs during other scenes where dialogue never totally ends. Like the dialogue text is still hanging around even if the NPC is no longer speaking. Is that what you see? You might just need to try again. If you need to start completely from the beginning (when you first get taken prisoner), you can skip the initiation by telling Gron you have already done this before. Then tell Aeris you have completed the initiation and are about to start the tour. You should be exactly where you are now.

I went down to the Bar area and picked up all available Ale bottles, but the quest wont progress. So either I missed something there, or i ran into a but (or incompatibility?) The tavern is owned by them until the quest is over and only certain items like food, soap ingredients and birth control ingredients are owned by the slaves so the player can pick them up. I also did the same with that one ale bottle. I was thinking of trying PSDI eventually. Good to know about that issue.

I thought of trying PSDI out but saw it messes with ownership which I figured may mess with some mods, I would had assumed an attached script would not be interfered with though? I wonder if they had a quest marker even disappear because of the mod?
