A little quality of life addition to my other Mods (namely Deadly Furnitures), which allows the player to continue the Game even After being executed by some Device. No more immersion Breaking reloads! This is achieved by Introducing a new Repeatable Questline within Sovngarde, where the Player is teleported upon being executed by Any Deadly Furniture or a Prison Alternative related Scenario. Complete the Quest, return to Tamriel, and your Adventures can continue. The Quest Itself is fairly straightforward and will give you plenty of pointers, so you shouldn't have any difficulties completing it. What This Mod is NOT: This is NOT a combat Defeat mod. It wont do Anything on its own and will only trigger when another mod explicitly calls it. As I said, Its meant as an addon for MY other mods. This has the Added benefit that its perfectly compatible with REAL combat defeat mods like Archereon, SL Defeat, Daymyol, and any other. Follower Support This mod does support up to 8 followers. How does it work? If a follower dies to a Deadly Furniture, their Soul will also be moved to Sovngarde and trapped there in one of the many BDSM devices scattered throughout the Fog. When the Player Ends up in Sovngarde themselves, they will have the option to Save their companions and return to Tamriel Alongside them. This should work with most Custom Followers and Follower Frameworks, but results might vary on a case to case basis. Notes: While this mod is fully playable and stable, its not finished, which means that NPC's within the quest might allude to features which aren't implemented yet This mod keeps itself disabled by default, which means you wont see any of its assets or changes within Sovngarde if you go there via the Vanilla quest line or coc There are some MCM settings available to limit the amount of humiliation you wanna experience during your stay in Sovngarde Dialogues are written for Female PC, but the Mod will work just fine with males as well Supported Mods: (you will need one of those to send you to Sovngarde and start the quest) Spoiler Requirements Pama Deadly Furnitures and all its requirements (LL Link) Minimum Public Version: V 3.3.2 Minimum Beta Version: V 3.1.9 (but I strongly recommend V 3.4.0 or higher) NGdecaps (Nexus Link) ConsoleUtil Extended (Direct replacement for Console Utils) (Nexus Link) Installation Install with Vortex or MO2 Run Fnis/Nemesis/Pandora Its recommended to use a new Save. If you Want to get your Head Back in Sovngarde after Dying to a Guilloutine, you need to do some extra work: Make the Following Edits to NextGenDecapitations.ini (located at SKSE\Plugins\NextGenDecapitations.ini) [Misc] # Determines if a decapitated NPC can be resurrected. # 0: No # 1: Yes, but the head remains severed # 2: Yes, and the head is restored iCanBeResurrected = 2 # Enable advanced NPC maintenance features (1 enable, 0 disable). # This ensures that heads display correctly and do not reappear unintentionally. bAdvancedNPCMaintenance = 0 Incompatibilities Devious Devices (soft incompatibility. I've not had a chance to fully play around with it, but just a couple of observations so far: While doing the two-point gallows blow-bang scenario, uninvolved npcs have a habit of trying to walk by, getting stuck on the guys, and then walking through the player to get past. This pushes the player and the gallows out of the way. The guys continue to align where the player should be for the rest of the scenario, so nothing matches up. And after that scenario finished (with a success) the camera was stuck low down. I guess this is the new feature in the main deadly furnitures mod? But I couldn't find a way of resetting it and had to reload. I'll disable that option in the furnitures MCM and try again when I next play. Great mod though!

The two don't clash, but As far as I know, PDA scenarios won't trigger the Sovngarde quest. You'd have to Ask @LittleWhiteNeko for details though.

As a stopgap measure, save and reload should also fix the lower camera. 1

I think I set PDA to automatically turn off Soverngarde Aftermath if PDA scene is triggered, so it is compatible, unless the user turned on PaSo in a middle of PDA scene which will breaks the mod. Although I never tested if dying to the deadly furnitures will still deactivate PaSo or not, which I was hoping it does not; it should only be disabled when dying to non device death. I'll do some testing later. Edit: I just remembered that Deadly Devices do not kill the player if PaSo is installed and enabled, so in that sense PDA will never trigger and thus won't turn off PaSo. In short, PDA and PaSo is (most likely) completely compatible. Dying to Pama's deadly furniture in PDA will never trigger PaSo as well, and don't try to trigger PaSo within PDA scene either, the reason is in the next paragraph. As for PDA having PaSo integration, the answer is no and will not be any time soon. PDA is never designed to have continuity, in which player can continue the game after the scene is done. My reasoning is that when you die in game, a lot of things may breaks when you are resurrected and continuing the game, so I rather people load the game instead of thinking they can continue the game and ended up bricking their save. PaSo afaik does not actually kill the player but only simulates it, so continuity is possible. Edited November 2, 2025 by LittleWhiteNeko 2

xtro334 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 (edited) Tried it out, and seem to be a good mod to handle death. 👍 Hope the defeat mods will be able to update to add option to send character to this mod. Had a problem with cooking overlay and face expression, that was not purged properly when appearing in Sovngard first time. Not sure if that is a problem from this mod or Deadly Furniture. Face expression went back to normal after being in the Dwemer Electrocution device, so I assume that it is a problem when being moved into the mod, the skin overlay remained though. Also the overlay gained in the mod was removed for me, so it most likely is the transfer to the mod. Would be nice if we could get a different dialogue from Ulfgar the unending, after first time in the oven, that depend on how things went first time. Edit: If one save in Sovngar, saves is then outside of characters saves. It is available in allsaves, and new saves outside Sovngard is no longer in the characters saves. Cooking overlay from surviving the oven in Sovngardwas was not properly removed when returning to from Sovngar. When I put on the armor the skin overlay was removed, but head overlay remained. After loading save made outside Sovngar, the face overlay was normal again. Edit2: It seems like the problem with save is only inside the hall. Had problem with third round in two point gallow. One of the actors started to walk away after being teleported in front of character, time and time again. Not sure what messed up his behavior. Edited November 3, 2025 by xtro334
brololo Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 i think i found another incompatibility with another mod called alternate perspective which was a alternate start mod i liked using mainly for the sold out addon so you can start inside of the simple slavery auction, normally you will see a tiny dragon chilling with you in the room and when you talk to it it will show you options of where to start now with this mod enabled idk if it does something with dragons or not but when the game starts you will see a message that says dialogue quest failed and then the dragon will just talk to you like it is an npc

xtro334 Posted November 4, 2025 Posted November 4, 2025 Does Ulfgar the unending and oven only have two outcomes? The only ones I have seen is the overcooked and the slightly cooked but alive. If those two is the only ones, it might be good to add in a properly cooked outcome, where you end up on the table as a meal and get a comment on your taste when you get back.
