myhouseatl Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I have acheron and Practical Defeat and the Bad Endings fix for Pama Furniture. However, when the PC dies, the game reloads last save. Is there any way of fixing that? (Yes, I read that death alternative mods can prevent this mod from working. I was just hoping there could be an easy fix.)

nimawi Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Great Mod, certainly brought me a lot of fun ^^ Though I did notice a few things that stuck out to me, so I went on a bit of a Bug hunt, and here is what I found: (not all necessarily related to the sovngarde mod.) Firstly, For the Dwemer Electric Device - the camera seems to be fixed to the extending dildo for me, I use Improved Camera SE, so maybe it's just an interaction with that mod, but once the dildo engages, the camera actually starts spinning around - I assume *with* the dildo - and at higher settings that almost makes me throw up from the speed - Is this a known issue to you, or something unique to my dumbass? Attached to this question is also, if you ever plan on adding the automatic triggering of the free camera, like Sexlab does - I really like that feature of that mode, and I feel like it wouldn't just fix the issue, but also be just a great addition. Next is the Ropes - I died using the Gallow, and in Sovngarde I then spawned in with my hands still tied behind my back, and the ropes fixed in place, is this wanted, or some manner of glitch? I also noticed that I could get out of the "arms behind back" animation for that one, by pressing the crouching and sprinting buttons to trigger a forwards roll, which free'd my hands, and they won't go back afterward - Maybe that last part is still from ZaP, but I thought you might want to know. Save Game separation: Weirdly enough, the first time I died with this new character, it generated a new set of Save game files - You know how Skyrim, in the main menu, separates Saves by character? Well for mine I could see the save games that I had until I died, and then nothing, but accessing the "show all save game option" as well as using the continue function, shows me the files for sovngarde and the hall of valor. Also in game, in the load menu I can only see the files for when I entered sovngarde. - This kinda strikes me as a bug. Windows - In the original Sovngarde the side wings of the building aren't accessible, but with those sections open, any other safeguard is also removed, so there is no invisible wall to prevent the character from jumping out of the windows - at which point they respawn at the entrance..... Not a big deal but just something I thought you should know. Though this only applies to the side sections, in the main hall the invisible walls are still there. Also, on the side of the building with the Dwemer device, the tied up Woman is misaligned with the device, and doesn't move back.... Again, maybe just one of my mods......but this also happens with the woman that you meet at the beginning of sovngarde, but only after dieing to a device. No Death = Stuck - If you fall from the bridge leading up to the hall of valor, you fall all the way down and don't die, allowing you to walk around in the "water" and requires a save game load to solve - I got stuck down there and had to use commands to get back up - It just sets your health to 1, and then you can just walk around... I have no defeat mods installed, so I believe this is a bug on your end. If I die using fall damage, for example by jumping off the rocks at the entrance of sovngarde, my character just gets stuck in the bleeding out animation. Placed Devices - There are a few Bondage furnitures set up in Sovngarde, but they aren't interactible - is this a future feature, or an unwanted bug? Glimmering Woman? - On the side of the building with the Dwemer device, the tied up Woman actually has a golden glimmer, but the one's over the spit don't - If I understand correctly, the glimmer means you didn't die in disgrace right? So why is the woman on the side bound up, even though she has glimmer? There are plenty of woman just walking around, so it's not that she is a woman..... Also, you can still talk to the women that are impaled on the spits, and also gagged...... Ok, that's everything I managed to find, hope it helps!

I'll do some testing later. Edit: I just remembered that Deadly Devices do not kill the player if PaSo is installed and enabled, so in that sense PDA will never trigger and thus won't turn off PaSo. In short, PDA and PaSo is (most likely) completely compatible. Dying to Pama's deadly furniture in PDA will never trigger PaSo as well, and don't try to trigger PaSo within PDA scene either, the reason is in the next paragraph. As for PDA having PaSo integration, the answer is no and will not be any time soon. PDA is never designed to have continuity, in which player can continue the game after the scene is done. My reasoning is that when you die in game, a lot of things may breaks when you are resurrected and continuing the game, so I rather people load the game instead of thinking they can continue the game and ended up bricking their save. PaSo afaik does not actually kill the player but only simulates it, so continuity is possible. There might be more to it: tried getting to Sovngarde through BER: Windhelm's gallows and now my pc is in Sovngarde but dead and on the ground, obviously the resurrect command doesn't work and neither does reloading the save. Everything else appears to work just fine which makes me believe that it probably has to do with that particular type of gallows
huhyeahso Posted May 15 Posted May 15 how does one properly align the actors when the PC is in furniture? Is it the sexlab scale option? or somewhere else?

I saw patch for Player Death Aftermath for Acheron. Will that trigger PSA? Edit: Just read post on PDA. Trying to find a good workaround to get PSA to work.
