Masthiste Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Thanks for this. It's a great help to me. I just have one question. Is it safe to install updated versions of some races (Synx, Chocolate Elves, Cute Elves, Moonshadow Elves specifically) over the versions included in this OMOD? For example, the Synx has an ESP update that gives the race unique powers and such, and I'm just wondering if I install newer versions it won't blow up my game.
gregathit Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 You should be fine Masthiste. Just remember that you will likely have to rebuild your bashed patch if you drop in new items.

morvo Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I've got an issue with eyes on several of the scale modified races, chanpon mini's/slim105+110's. Their eye sizes drop in scale with the body so they end up way too small and you can see through to the back of their heads, any thoughts? ;p
thecrusticroc Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I've got a major problem over here: Is there another way to install this big pack without using OMM? I hate this tool, my pc freezes whenever I install the pack. And when I say it freezes, it's not only my mod manager, my whole computer is shut off I'm only able to move my mouse, but even these moves lagg. I can't click, select or close anything. Any advice to speed and fix this up?
gregathit Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 You can double click the OMOD file from windows explorer to have it pop up in OBMM. Then just right click on the file (it will be in the far right window) and choose "extract to folder". Then you can either manually install it or build a bain install from it.

invi Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Thanks for this mod and to all the modders who worked hard for it. i had some black and pink textures on some races though. especially on CM Lynx and Luna. Theyre faces are black and body are pink. Anyway i can fix it? BTW is the torrent download updated?, cause while reading the whole thread i noticed that there are v1,2 and 3. i know the torrent is 2.1. Im just wondering cause i just finished downloading the torrent. if its not then *sigh*, i just have to download it again. Thnks
Pixelchild Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I also have the same problem as Invi, where some women have purple bodies. I am using DMRA, but I'm not sure that's the problem.
ordo250 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 When I try installing this with nexus mod manager(like the files says to) It freezes my entire computer and I have to reboot
gregathit Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 When I try installing this with nexus mod manager(like the files says to) It freezes my entire computer and I have to reboot The nexus mod manager can't install omod files worth a crap. You need to use OBMM (oblivion mod manager) and depending on your computer it could indeed slow it down to a crawl as this is a very large file. Your other alternative is to load the file into OBMM and then instead of activating it, right click on it in that far right window and choose extract. It will then extract it to a directory you choose and you can manually install it or make a BAIN archive out of it.
Someone92 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 i had some black and pink textures on some races though. especially on CM Lynx and Luna. Theyre faces are black and body are pink. Anyway i can fix it? Have you rebuild the Bashed Patch of Wrye Bash? Lots of troubles with eyes, hair and faces can be solved by using that. I haven't used OBMM in over a year but if it hasn't been majorly improved in the last year I strongly suggest to switch to Wrye Bash; you don't even need OBMM to extract .omod files, simply drag&drop them into the Installer tab in Wrye Bash and there are extracted to the Bash Installers folder.
gregathit Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 OBMM has not been updated in quite a long time. It's creators abandoned it and some of them went on the make NMM. I strongly recommend you do follow Someone92's advice and use Wrye. It is 1,000 times better than OBMM or NMM.

Someone92 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 so i drag the torrent into wryebash or use utorrent to unpack it first? First get the .omod file, either by downloading it from depositfiles or via the torrent provided by Uriel. Then, drag/drop the .omod file into the Installer tab from Wrye Bash, the files will then be extracted to the Bash Installers folder into a separate folder. Archive all the files again (7zip is likely the best option, but zip should work too) and then relocate the achieved file to the BAsh Installers folder and delete the extracted folder because you now longer need it. Now install it like any other mod.
TheTimberwolf Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 thanks for putting together this torrent file however at this time there is no one seeding the file...Wait there be seeders .. Yeah !!
Zodeark Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Do I have to install something other then this for it to work correctly? It seems like a bunch of textures are missing, because alot of the bodies are purple, plus th beast race's tails are all stretchy and messed up Any adivice is appriciated
Someone92 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Not that I am aware of; did you rebuild the Bashed Patch?
Zodeark Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Not that I am aware of; did you rebuild the Bashed Patch? Yeah. The default beast races look fine. But when i run Bravil Underground or Crowning Isle i get a bunch of weird problems. Tails stretch and spasm all over the place, and the screen gets static/white on occasion
gregathit Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Make certain you are using growlf's universal skeleton (the controllable version). That will fix your tails. Don't have a clue on the static\white thing.

cyb3r Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 the torrent is an older version i haven't released the new version to the public due to real life constraints that took more time than they should (that and the misses wasn't too happy on me spending the little time i had without her working on this big project) i still got all the files but it might be a while before i dive into updating the pack the biggest issue is rebuilding the pack everytime for bugfixes thanks to the shite way Mbp++ is setup edit : grega and uriel many thanks for filling in as technicall support while i was gone ^^ edit 2: do not use nexus mod manager i am not supporting it so be in for a nightmare when trying to use it ^^ (i personally hate that pos), when i do update the modpack it's going to be a wrye only file since obmm is outdated and well activating a 1.1gb mod over obmm allways had it issues. Edit 3: i know bout the pink bodies, i was trying to track down the missing / broken textures but with so many changes that ate up time which i didn't had for a long while so that's still a work in progress, i don't know when i'll be able to fully update the pack and if i can find some textures (chanpon and co been having issues that i've tried to rectify)
beta000 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 If you need help with the issue with chanpon and co, I can help you there. The root issue is wyre bash changing the eye mesh for chanpon and co to the standard eye mesh which is positioned much higher. Fun fact, the x117 races would have this issue but a hard coded exclusion in the code of wyre bash skips the eye change for them. Right now on my oblivion install it should be fixed through a hack to the exclusion code in wyre bash but that is not the fix I would want to distribute. Give me some time to futz around with chanpon and co, and I should be able to prevent bash from changing the eye mesh.
rylasasin Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 And here's something for you to add to the front page OR to the OMOD itself:Nehrim Replacer ESPS!!Note: these are only the ESPs. You still need the base files. Not only do they allow you to play your favorite MBP++ Races in Nehrim, and not only do they unlock the MBP++ hairs and eyes for nehrim use in Nehrim-Vanilla races, but it also enables you to play as the Vanilla Oblivion Races! Complete with their signature Racial Abilities.Unfortunately I've yet to test it extensively, so I don't know about things that don't work with it. Also I couldn't port the Mermaids/Tritents... it crashes on save when I tried. Edit: Mbp ++ all in 1 for nehrim thread now up. Get it there.
beta000 Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I got bored and decided to make my own patch for the issue with chanpon and co's eyes. The attached file should contain all the fixes for the misaligned eyes in the all in one pack. I would need some testers to make sure it works beyond my environment and that I did not screw something else up in the process. mbp chanpon fix.7z
