I had the "none" error as well as the missing MSVCP110.dll.  Using the x86 package vs x64 fixed it. Check your system to see which you need.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019667

Keep up the good work!

Are you using 64 or 32 bit windows?

Neither of the two vcredist packages fixed the error for me. On 64 bit Win7.

EDIT: My darn mistake. Using the x86 package did indeed fix it, just had to remove the file I copied manually.

Uninstalled both packages, reinstalled, and viola!

Thanks!

To sum this up: If I unpack and find in the /db directory only 44 files, it means I have an incomplete installation. I need 68.

Is this correct?

The correct /db package youll find on page 20 of this thread as downloadable attachment.

I see a couple of scripts, but no faq or guide how to uninstall.

Yes, having 68 txt files your db directory means a complete installation. The two critical files that are missing from the original package are:

WearAndTear_Descriptors.txt

SexPart_Synonyms.txt

Without those you will see big chunks of words missing in the final messages.

Some creatures are causing the None message as well, for sure Falmer, because of SL bugs (incorrect tags on animations). The bugs have been patched in current code base, but not released yet into a new alpha package.

So...this won't work with SKSE 1.6, since I cannot get Skyrim to start using SKSE 1.7?

Unfortunately, no. Because I'm dependent upon JContainers, which is compiled against SKSE 1.7.

What happens when you try running Skyrim with SKSE 1.7? CTD? Is there a log entry? Do you have other SKSE plugins that might not work under SKSE 1.7?

did you make a new shortcut of the new skse.exe file when you installed 1.7 to launch from, if you have a shortcut from 1.6 it won't work.

Only asking cause I updated to 1.7 with no problems.

Buuut.. I am getting the bug others are reporting, the whole ___. for private parts. As in "Gorr inserts his cock into your ___."

Perhaps the game has gotten shy?

See the attachment with my name on page 20 of this thread. The install package was missing some db text files.

Please friends, if you are missing words from your messages, please download and install the following database of text files:

and please note that Falmer Holding and Falmer Missionary animations WILL cause the "none" message. Its a bug with SL that I have patched in the unreleased future version of Apropos. For now, Female PC sex with single Falmer will not display anything useful.

Skyrim gets to the main page, and then shuts off.

I'll try disabling all of my SKSE plugins and see what happens.

I have already installed that much earlier as I thought that I had files missing and that was why I was getting the None. I am still getting missing words, though I have all the indicated files installed. All 68. And I am getting these missed worded messages with sex with my character's follower. Who is male. And my PC is female.

I do this, but you can see, I miss every words (Ass, Vagina?). But the words are in the Textfile.

I think you've posted a user log before - has it changed? If you aren't getting the solitary None anymore, can you post an updated log?

Thanks

I tried deleting all of my SKSE 1.6 related files, but still the game won't start with SKSE 1.7 Alpha.

I am at a loss, as I have never had this problem with any version of the Script Extender before.

That sounds like the type of crash you get when something is missing a master file.

I cannot speak to Apropos (have not yet dared to download the alpha version, which seems to be having issues), but I did update to SKSE 1.7 just a few days ago (I did it to enjoy increased stability) and so far have had no problems. Quite the opposite. My game is more stable than it has ever been since I started using mods.

How did you install SKSE? I was expecting a manual install (always confusing), but instead saw a buttom that said "install". I clicked that and it upgraded automatically in about a second. I assume that it upgraded the shortcut too, since MCM tells me that I do indeed have SKSE 1.7 (and I have almost no CTDs now).

I love SKSE 1.7. If you have not done so, try upgrading with the install button. It is a cinch.

Hmm i didn't remove any files when i upgraded to 1.7. I quess it wasn't needed?

If you drug the files into the correctly folder and when prompted said overwrite then there should be no need to delete old files. Since the new one should just overwrite all the old files.

LOVE your ideas. Can't say when we'll work on the bondage/punishment stuff, but i totally agree, you shouldn't walk out of Xaz prison as if nothing happened! :)

Looking forward to the implementation :)

Yes, one of the points was to increase collaboration between the users and the mod devs. Eventually the descriptions will be on their own release cycle, once we shake out the details a little more. That will allow us to update those without necessarily updating the mod per-se. Yes, you can add as many descriptions you want into each file, and they are randomly selected.

This is really great, i'm exited to see what the dear loverslab community will come up with. I might also try writing some descriptions, probably in german.

Here is what I did,

1) My usual.  I always manual install, which has always worked in the past.  I manually uninstalled the old version, then manuall installed the new version.

2) When that failed, I tried the Installer -- I cringe at installers for these types of things...usually more harm then good but I tried it anyway.   That failed as well.

3)  This was painful...I backed up and then deleted all of my SKSE plugins, my graphics injecters, and my performance monitors.  Most were SKSE reliant, so I figured they could be interfering.  That failed as well.

I am really at a loss here as to what could be wrong.

Anyone who has it working,

1) How many, if any, pre-existing SKSE plugins did you have running?

2) What was your install process?

3) Is Sexlab your only, or one of your only, script heavy mods?

Thank you in advance.

I can only say what I did. I installed it with the installer. I already had the previous version installed. I suspect I might have done something wrong just installing it just like that.. but.. everything is running so I figure its fine. I adjusted the Skse.ini so that the memory patched worked properly with it. I watched videos on how to install and all that. So.. I think that works? Here:

Watch this for how to install. Its what I did. He never steers me wrong :)

I hope this helps!
