@AlerictheNord I did the exact same thing Carida did. I watched Gophers video and installed it just as he did. For me it worked perfectly the first time.

 

As for your questions.

1) How many, if any, pre-existing SKSE plugins did you have running?

Honestly don't know never looked.

 

2) What was your install process?

Following what Gopher did in the linked video.

 

3) Is Sexlab your only, or one of your only, script heavy mods?

Nope I also use Arousal, SoS, frostfall, wet and cold, and a likely a few more I am forgetting.

You should be able to just type Event Viewer into the "Start->Search programs and files" to launch the Event Viewer. After it opens just select the folder on the left called "Custom Views", and under that "Administrative Events". It should refresh the central middle list. Look for red "Errors" pertaining to Skyrim/SKSE. Might take a bit of finding depending upon what else is going on your system... I was getting a CTD before even getting to the main Bethesda screen a few weeks ago and that is how I found the root failure:

Not really. Should have a new alpha release out soon, maybe on Friday... JContainers has been updated (its API) so I have some more abilities to diagnose problems. Plus the Apropos Git codebase has been updated with some bug fixes as well.

None in this version, in the next version the debuffs/buffs will be:

Level 0 - + 15 speech for purity +15% regen

Level 1 - + 15% regen

Level 2 - + 10% regen

Level 3 - + 5% regen

Level 4 - no stats

Level 5 - no stats

Level 6 - -5% regen

Level 7 - 10% regen

Level 8 - 15% regen

 

This is what is planned for the moment.

 

You should have harder pentalties to make the player feel the debuff more. I think something like this would be more realistic and balanced:

 

Level 0 - +25% better blessings for purity

Level 1 - + 10 speech and + 10% stamina regen for experience.

Level 2 - + 5 speech + 5% stamina regen

Level 3 - no stats

Level 4 - - 5% stamina/magicka regen

Level 5 - -10%  s/m regen

Level 6 - -15% s/m regen

Level 7 - 20% s/m regen -5 speech

Level 8 - 25% s/m regen -10 speech

 

I see it like this. The more worn you become, the more tired you are, which means you become exhausted faster.

-1 level every 3 hours to allow for a bit of sexual freedom.

I installed the microsoft thing and am still getting None...I will see about getting a report up when I can. Any suggesitons in the meantime?

 

 

Try installing both microsoft thingies. x64 and x86. It worked for me on a 64 bit system, and everything works wonderfully.

I mostly agree with Night, though I think tweaking it further would help. I also think there should be a toggle for a movement debuff as well. Since to me that makes sense but I know some people have mods that already effect movement from sex, but some of us do not. So having a toggle to turn the movement part of the debuff on or off would solve the issue for everyone.

 

What I would suggest is this, which I think is posted earlier in this thread or something similar. :)

Seems to work fine for me, just a few issues:

  • There's still the odd instance where the initial message is only up for a few frames and disappears. As I understand this is a SexLab issue though.
  • Before some messages, I get announcements about player arousal and player enjoyment? Is there a way to turn these off.
  • Not sure how to customise the messages, tried copying the format you've used and replacing the default db folder, but I still seem to get the same default messages.
  • F-F strapon sex seems to trigger F-M messages, including cum messages.
  • Dogs seem to be missing? Or do these simply use the Wolf messages?

Otherwise, great mod.

Regarding debuffs wouldn't it be better to set them to be tweakable in MCM?

 

Every one plays differently and with different mods combos,

personally i prefer very low becouse i dl'd this for messages and seeing something like "Overextended twat" in status screen :P ,

Balance-wise i use other MCM tweaker for settings :)

1. Yes that is true. We are using a Papyrus function that is non deterministic. Other mods may stomp on the messages. And we can never be sure how long ours will show. We can only specify the delay before ours is show, not how long it stays.

2. Those were introduced by accident and will be removed in the next release.

3. The messages are retrieved at random. Even random can sequence on occasion.

4. There is currently no F-F support.

Great ideas. Yeah, I agree there should be some serious penalties for being gangbanged or fucked by a giant or dragon. Some thoughts:

 

1. We either build a MCM configuration system where the user can select the pre-defined defaults similar to the Skyrim difficulty (Novice - Legendary). Even perhaps have it default to the user's current Skyrim difficulty (don't know if that is possible, but it sounds reasonable).

 

2. But a more refined configuration system together similar to SexLab Util1.

 

3. I'm starting to think that a single W&T variable (per body part) isn't maybe not enough, but also some expression of how that variable has changed over time. Kind of like the difference between Velocity and Acceleration. If you just got gangbanged and you've maxed out your variable in a very short time, that should reflect differently than a continuous spread over the day...

I mean the mod would have to not only detect the wear taken but then in how much time to assign debuff values. Neat idea just not sure how easy it would be to pull off. My concern would be making it to script heavy to run with a lot of other scripted mods.

Don't make it too complicated :)

Two variables for each wear&tear bodypart might be a good idea though, my suggestion would be to differ then  between consensual sex and rape. This way you can make different wear&tear effects for rape who are much harder than the normal wear&tear effects. Because your rapists might not only rape you but also hurt and beat you in various ways, and the more battered up you look the more it might turn them on.

 

I have no experience with that, so it might be impossible to implement. But it would be cool if you could include visual effects in case you get severly raped, so your character gets wounds and scars in case of high wear&tear rape damage which are permanent, but can be healed if you buy expensive potions or pay much money to an alchemist. As an example for the visual effects i suggest to take a look at Alicia from Skyrimll's great Alicia mod. Would be very immersive imho if your character would look like that if you reach the maximum wear&tear rape damage.

 

And for male PCs i would love if your cock could break. The humiliation would just be awesome if your male PC gets gangraped by a group of bandits. The male bandits would watch and cheer while female bandits ride your broken cock in an aggressive cowgirl position :D. With expensive potions or alchemist services you could eventually heal your broken cock.

The easy way to handle consensual and forced sex is just have forced sex do double the wear to the part. Again no need to make it overly complicated when a more simple approach gets similar results. :)

It's just an idea, but the advantage would be that this way you could make rape really hard.

Maybe it can also achieved with a single variable and multipliers, but imho it should be like this:

-If you whore around a lot and take e.g. 10-15 customers one evening you should be exhausted and have penalties, but still be able to adventure.

-If you suffer a defeat in a bandit fortress though and get raped 10-15 times you should be so heavily injured that you either have to spend thousands or tenthousands of septims for alchemy wonder potions or have to recover at least a week or two.

 

Because the bandits would not care about your health at all. This might be true to a certain degree for customers if you are whoring, but there you still would have the option to stop or even report the bad customer to the guards in theory.
