murfk Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 Having a slight issue, I looked a few pages back but haven't noticed anyone with quite the same problem. I have the reqs and the mod installed, and a few packs. This is on a new game too. When I go to MCM, in setup, my character appears selected. But if I click to select a character, the list is empty. If I leave, no character is chosen. Then, in the different sections, no packs are visible. Any clue what might be causing this? I got it to work once before, but I had to reinstall. All the other mods came back fine, so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with the reqs. I am having the same problem and i just installed it. Can sombody help? Usually, that's because SKSE or JContainers is missing or not install right

I also reinstalled slavetats and racemenu. But this didn't change anything with my problem.

I have this same exact problem. UPDATE: never mind, I had an out of date version
Oraclesoldier Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I don't know if this problem was addressed and I'm sure it could be my fault, but I need help in identifying in what I may not be doing right. SlaveTats starts, works, MCM is all good and I can see people in the menu where I want to customize... BUT, some of these tats don't show up for me on a particular NPC: The Hand and Feet nail Makeup works but the Lipstick doesn't. I have another problem where a few of the tats give me rainbow and black texture errors,

I have another problem where a few of the tats give me rainbow and black texture errors, The problem with tattoos not showing up seems to be connected to custom skin textures or characters created from unusual references in Creation Kit. I've found various ways to narrow the problem, but I don't know of any way to eliminate it entirely. Rainbow and black texture errors are missing or corrupted texture files.

Thanks for the answer I'll mess around with that.
Budroi Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Im getting some blurry/hard to read tats. In specific "butt slut" is hard to make out. I remember that there was an ini setting that involved face tattoos but i could have sworn I raised that a while back. In any case I forget which setting it is and what it should be. If someone could tell me what that was so i can check i would be appreciative. *FYI* make me beg (left arm) may all my holes be filled (right arm) those are readable but ever so slightly blurred as well
Abberyeee Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 It is amazing what you can do with this mod

I fixed my issue. part of the problem ended up being having gloss checked. The other part of the problem was fixed by bringing the textures from 1024x1024 to 2048x2048 and then sharpening and tweaking.
salerio Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I thought I could do this myself but it's not compiling correctly - but it would be nice to have the option for more than 6 body tattoos, since basically all tattoos end up being body tattoos.

Yes, it would. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work without forcing users to get down and dirty with SKSE data files.
Daringocelot Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Whenever I open any of the menus, no text pops up, no selection or anything, what could be the problem?
maxxer Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Since there is an option for sperm coating already, how about a sweaty/wet layer that can be added via Slavetats?
murfk Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Since there is an option for sperm coating already, how about a sweaty/wet layer that can be added via Slavetats? Make a "tat" pack for it

Doomsman Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Well folks, I tried making a pack to fit the Christmas season, but I just can't seem to get it to show up as a category selection. I must have done something wrong somewhere, but I did try to follow the instructions from the front page. I'd love to get it working before Christmas, but I'm out of my element at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

The category for them doesn't show up in the body listing menu so I can't even see if they display correctly. Which means screenshots wouldn't really help. Hmm. Maybe I made them wrong and THAT'S why it doesn't work. Well, I can try again I guess.

Any help would be appreciated. Fixed file structure and missing commas (,) in the json file. Now you can fix the tattoos and then all will be well. And thanks BTW for adding to the fun. Edit: Changed from .7Z file to .Zip since your original file was a RAR and I'm not sure you can handle .7Z Edit2: Removed file, Doomsman has gotten it and it isn't yet ready for release otherwise. I noticed several people had downloaded it.

I'll see if i can fix some of those selections now.
WaxenFigure Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 ... Yeah, that fixed it alright. Thanks! It's always those damned commas. I'll see if i can fix some of those selections now. Note the .EXE file I left in that ZIP file with the .JSON file. It is used to validate .JSON files and point out the mistakes so you can fix them. Just use Windows explorer to get to the folder then Shift-LeftClick on the folder to get an expanded set of LeftClick menu options one of which will be "Command Window here" (or something like that), select that and then from that new window you can enter: json_validator christmas.json That will validate the json file and tell you if you need to fix anything.
Doomsman Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I've finally gotten far enough where I'm mostly satisfied. Enjoy! Christmas Pack.7z
