The biggest problem and question is. Will they leave the gate open, when they release official tools(im sure they wont support animations the way we want), for animation and body mods to be easier to do or they will make it unusable. Problem is they are in Korea, Korea is pain in the ass about these things and any "news" about sex animations that will go more viral will make them react as what they did rn with the car sending children flying on collision(which is funny but I guess they had to react as that is in game they shipped). 

 

Makes me worried. I was ready to buy but game feels not polished enough. Same way I held on MH Wilds and did not buy it(here due to performance).

To load unsigned mods, you need to install InZOI Mod Enabler.

 

Also, I had a look at the movies folder in the game folder. All movies are MP4, not BIK or any other strange format. Also, in the Content/Paks folder, I could find matching utoc, pak, sig and ucas files for each set.

 

There are some modding discussions in the official Discord server.

 

I'll look up whatever else I can find about modding the game.

 

And, some users are using a utilitary called FModel, which seems to be able to convert the models you make in Blender to the game's format.

Still, I think we can be positive about the situation. 

 

I work in the Korean IT industry, and I feel that the culture has become quite open in recent years. 
The hopeless open source policies are gradually trying to catch up with global standards.

 

This means that the industry as a whole, if they don't open up and have a user ecosystem, they will no longer be able to compete globally (especially with China).
This is because it has become an orthodoxy that if you don't have a user ecosystem that is open across the industry, you can no longer survive global competition (especially with China). 

 

In particular, games with BMs that are close to gambling, such as NCsoft's, are no longer successful in the market. 
(Shift Up and Stellar Blade, created by NCsoft's former employee, Kim Hyung-jeong, exceeded NCsoft's market capitalization.)

 

Especially since every Korean game company knows that sexuality is important in gaming,
I don't think they will actively try to stop these mods unless they are socially problematic.

I hope that there will be a mod, where teens are able to have romantic relationships, pregnancies and such like/with adults too. This was something that worked since Sims 2.

Well, I want to be optimistic, but just like in Starfield - I expect to have a sexlab in space, but so far it seems to be an illusion.
Before May (when they announced that they will release the mod tool), I think everything is just a discussion.
Before May, I think I will continue to play Skyrim or Sims4, after all, inZOI doesn't have much content at the moment.

 

By the way, I wonder if it will be easier to make actions likes sexlab animations in inZOI because there is AI to help.

This wont be a case hopefully, this is law breaking content and should not be touched. Even on LL those mods are forbidden and any discussion regarding it will risk you getting banned too. The creator of mod was shunned and removed from community too.

In some places? Sure, but that's contextual and can be true about anything.  Criticizing your government is illegal in some places.  Thankfully, not where I live, and fictional depictions of fictional characters who are not real, regardless of how bizarre/offensive it might be, is not illegal in any way where I live.  If It's the policy of LL to keep that stuff off the site, that's completely fine, but legality is subjective, and in my country I'm allowed to look at whatever I want as long as it doesn't depict illegal activities with REAL people.

This is not accurate. WW absolutely allows teen relationships, sex, and pregnancy, even with adults (they just need the Post-Puberty Attribute IIRC). I don't use the feature myself but it is definitely present in the settings, so I'm guessing it works (and I've seen plenty of people who say they use the feature here on the site).

The mod you're talking about enabled WW for CHILD Sims as well as TODDLERS. That's the issue there (among many other problematic behaviors, but this is the worst).

The point is, allowing teen Sims to have sex and allowing pre-pubescent child Sims to do so are two VERY different things, and you shouldn't claim they're the same.
