This thread is for discussing the game, not randomly uploading whatever mods are out there. Since InZoi is perfectly available via steam and looking to become a pretty popular game, mod uploads should go in the file page system, provided ofc that it's your mod or that you have permission.

There are actually a ton of exceptions. I would argue that it is relatively easy to spot "trash" EA games. I have no reason to believe InZoi will be one of them. For one thing, it already has a ton of content, even if it is in an unfinished state. Second, it's massively popular, and has the backing of one of the big Korean publishers. Obviously the nature of EA is "risky" I suppose, but you get what you pay for, and in this case you definitely get a decent game for $40 with free updates and "DLC" (which will just be updates...) through release.

I will discuss this issue in detail tomorrow. Of course I won't continue here. Or I'll see if there's any place else on this subject. After all, this obviously shouldn't appear in the place about InZoi.

That's no problem as as I already have all the tools needed to make them if Zoi time to Real time is the same as in The Sims 4 (And even if it's not the same, I'm sure I can make it work 😁)

 

I assume music is in MP3 format too??

Everything is in unreal and should be more straightforward, also helps that denuvo is gone which was pretty much their only pirating protection. Unlike sims 4 and other games where the weird formats and proprietary engines are the piracy protections. 

 

They may do something else to try and prevent piracy but only time will tell how that may take form. But they have said they are committed to the modding community.

Even if inZoi is not that good or what we expected, it's going to have a great effect on the industry of those games genre...

For real, EA needs at least to understand that they can't milk the cow and not kill it.

I wanted to say a year or two but as Lewdest have said, maybe and because it's straightforward with UE5 we could expect the community to produce a lot really quickly ? Idk...

I think they're waiting for The Sims 5 to be released do THAT

 

Problem us that wn'gt be for AT LEAST another YEAR (Maybe the release of this game will give EA MOTIVATION to speed it up rather than trying to throw MORE stuff (And MONEY) into The Sims 4 (Which is now OVER 10 YEARS old?? 🙏🙏)

Don't think Turbo isn't working on it

 

I ACTUALLY SAW IT on Patreon & on WickedCC. I don't think there's a download ready yet but Turbo wouldn't be STUPID enough to announce it if there wasn't going to be one (I'm sure Colonedl Nutty is looking at making a version of DD for inZoi too though I haven't seen anything on that (Nor do I really care to)

I wouldn't doubt if it was put up for an April fools joke but is also doubling as his official announcement of the project/placeholder.

Honestly the community is kinda on light speed right now with some of these mods I see popping up. Almost feels like the early days of skyrim with how quick this stuff is popping up. Pretty certain being in an easy to understand super accessible engine helps.
