Psych0Monk3y Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I am using xp32 and hdt body. Ears and tail have attached without issue. I am disappointed that I can't wear my cloak with the tail, especially since I have Frostfall, but I think the tail counts as a cloak with regard to exposure protection.

I don't know if this is the case with you I haven't gotten that back to tigras yet since I had to make a new game, but I've discovered that some tails won't attach with xp32's maximum skeleton - I discovered this bug with the succubus mod on nexus I have the same tail problem :/ . Let us know if you find a solution! is the next transformation after getting the ears going to be the tail? because if it is, i have the same problem, using xp32 skeleton it always crashes at that point. if that's what is making the game crash, is there a skeleton that is compatible? For personal reference, I use the XPMS Extended skeleton from here on LL, and have had zero issues with the tail. I am using xp32 and hdt body. Ears and tail have attached without issue. That was a decision that was made by the people who do cloaks in order to avoid the tails clipping through them. Problem is, they still tend to have a lot of clipping issues depending on the animations you use (legs and arms, usually), which usually makes me end up avoiding usage of them.
stlbatt Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 let's see: i get a journal update saying what an odd journal i found; i didn't even pick it up and read it let alone go to Riverwood to find it, also no mapmarkers for the cave. when i enter Tigras cave the quest to find the cure starts without any dialogue with Tigras yet I have a journal update saying that Tigras told me the location of the assassin with the cure, and again no quest marker

I got it working now with hdt added but the tail sticks out very awkwardly, would love to know if/how I can fix that, but at this point im just glad it works

In the next version, I might just remove the ears and tail because it seems like they are more trouble than they are worth.

I've never tried using the hdt stuff so this is all new to me

And there probably won't be for a long time because anything else I can do will take a monumental amount of effort to do.

You wouldn't happen to be using something like a wet effect shader (ie. frostfall or something similar), would you? I know for a fact that shaders like that cause the textures to mess up in weird ways as well until their effect fades.

I don't really have any motivation to do some of the monumental amount of work it will take to add on new parts to this mod now. *Edit* At least, until I find something to inspire me again... first of all, that mod must have been a awsome pice of work. so let me thank you for the time you have spend for creating it. i was playing it one time and with the name your mod has i expected maybe a bit to much. let me say that i dont want to mock you, english inst my first language and its hard to say things diplomatic without the proper knowledgt of words. at the first i wasnt shure about to write that to you. becouse i know how hard it is to create something like you have done and iam shure that my kind of tast isnt the one of the world. but i really liked breeder in fallout, was an good story and i would like to see good storys in skyrim too. so dont get me wrong when i say that your story is to easy. finding a werwolf in a cave and than chose to be hes beta without any reason??? thats hardly to beleave. first thing i thought after he beged for help was: why the hell should i help a werwolf? ok i want to play the mod, but the charakter i play, why? i would say yeah shure i help you to get your stuff. leafe the cave and come back later to loot his dead body. than the therms you are using, alpha and beta arent matching your characters. first time you meet that alpha he is beging for help like a littel cat traped on top of a tree. he would make a good trophy in the basement of one of my houses but as an alpha he is to weak. and why is your charcter transforming? with the current lore that doesnt makes any sense. i mean lycrantropy is in the elder scrolls known and looks very diffrent from what you are puting into the world. i suspect that you want to make it consual without rape or being forced, thats a hard way you want to go. other than in fallout breeder were the first reason to do things is surviving and the second the deathclaw drug. maybe you should take a look at hercine. hes the deadric prince of hunting and creator of the werwolf/bears. his hobbys are ofcourse hunting and... hey look at that: breeding beastraces. iam shure that he is looking for some new kind of beast after his last lost a battle against sheogorats sparrow.^^

(Short of an incredible boost of inspiration, that is...) I admit that I rushed v1.0, which resulted in some of the problems you were talking about. I had some ideas for "why should the player help him", but didn't really get to flesh it out like I wanted to. At this point though, my own mindset has changed too much since this mod originally came into being. I would probably rename the mod itself again if it wasn't for the fact that renaming everything inside of the creation kit would be far too much work now.

Let us know if you find a solution! for now I've given up on the tail, no matter what I try it doesn't effect it, short of starting a fresh install of skyrim cleaning up any files that don't belong and re-installing everything fresh again <- Might try that at a later date when I'm not restarting the game so much (estrus mod is buggy, going to try playing without estrus this time, but estrus chaurus claims to require it so no clue if it'll work any better)

Psych0Monk3y Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Alright, I did that but I'm still having the below issue. The nipples are way bad and the hips appear bad as well. Any other suggestions? I should add that I have already regenerated the body in BodySlide and ensured that my textures are in the right place.
ren54642 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 My understanding is the hip problem is because your meshes and texture are from two different things I had the same problem and I redid my cbb install and it worked

It's only when the body pieces are equipped that the problem occurs.
