AlerictheNord Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I think a less 'invasive' transformation might be in order. Perhaps limit the transforming parts of the body to simply 'boots' and 'gloves,' since not only would those be compatible with all body types, but these issues with textures and meshes would go away.
Psych0Monk3y Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Well, I did find out that my particular issue was because of the way that Mod Organizer handles things - installing mods into a folder outside of the standard Data folder, then injecting the files into the game when playing. When I put the BodySlide generated mesh files into the Mod Organizer-created folder for SLB, everything was fine. However, an issue still exists in that, by default, Private Needs removes all of the gear from the character, and when it's replaced additional texture issues pop up - like, ugly ones. I forgot to take a screenshot of this particular issue, but will be more than happy to tomorrow. Time for me to go to bed.
Sexyguy123 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 After Tigras has his way with you, should your character have fur? because mine only has the tail and ears.
Psych0Monk3y Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 After Tigras has his way with you, should your character have fur? because mine only has the tail and ears. You shoulf uave gotten the fur-covered arms and legs before that point.
Psych0Monk3y Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 So, out of curiosity, is the Breeder part of Sexlab Breeder actually active, or am I a wolf girl now for pretty much no reason?
LolsMcGee944 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 So...I have furred arms and legs, but what about my torso? Where is that coming in?
Ashra XIII Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Unless rangedphoenix changed the meshes since last I tried this, the torso always remains furless. A long time ago it used to be a full fur suit, but it looked exactly like that... a fur suit, not actual fur growing on the character. Like she was a cosplayer. Phoenix fixed up the mesh and made it only cover the limbs, then started working on the gradual transformation, then the powers, and eventually the story. Or something similar to that order. I had initially lobbied for *some* fur on the body, but that's kinda tough to do I imagine.
rangedphoenix Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 So, out of curiosity, is the Breeder part of Sexlab Breeder actually active, or am I a wolf girl now for pretty much no reason? Well, to be honest, I only released v1.0 because I figured people wanted to see what I had done progress-wise. I probably wouldn't have released v1.0 for a LONG, LONG time had I added absolutely everything I wanted to do before releasing 1.0. Truth be told though, with the feedback I've been getting, not really feeling like making a new version. I think a less 'invasive' transformation might be in order. Perhaps limit the transforming parts of the body to simply 'boots' and 'gloves,' since not only would those be compatible with all body types, but these issues with textures and meshes would go away. Its not possible. Well, it would be possible... actually, let me just explain it one last time. The issue with making hybrid meshes that are separate gloves and boots: werewolves have haunches. Because of this design, it literally makes the impossible without having the normal body clip through the haunches. I /could/, in theory remove the haunches, but that just makes the entire thing look really, really stupid. Oh, and just for fun, I would have to do all of this work in 3DS max, because it is impossible in outfit studio. This would involve a lot of reskinning, and other tedious nonsense. I have enough tedious things to do with trying to port a female mesh over so that it can work with a male body... But I probably shouldn't have mentioned that yet. At any rate, I will work on a "no transformations" option in MCM that will disable all visual signs of transformation... probably in the next update. Enabling this will allow you to equip armor as normal, and you will not see any signs of a transformation. *Edit* I should also mention that ever since I released v1.0, I've had nothing but issues with trying to work on any new content. It's very tempting to just give up altogether.
lovers30 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I've played around with the mod for quite a bit and wanted to give my initial responses, just in case they hadn't been mentioned before: Pro's: 1) The mod has run for a good 10ish hours without a single crash of any kind, so it's very stable. 2) The storyline is much better than it used to be. I agree with your blog when you say it's "not as epic as it could be", but you can always refine it further, later. The storyline flows a lot better (once it's started) and it feels like you're being drawn into things more naturally. 3) It's definitely a v1.0 release and playable, so don't pay much attention to anyone who says otherwise. 4) Beeing Female support seems to be included already, unless you're planning something else? Character got pregnant via Tigris. Constructive Critacism's: Hopefully these won't put you off, but they are the bigger "issues" I experienced while playing through the first 10 hours. 1) Definitely top of the list is "Where the heck is that journal that starts the whole thing?". I ended up giving myself the journal via the console command because even with the hint of it's location I spent an hour real-time trying to find it and couldn't. 2) Mechanics wise, the first "lair" is tagged as a "dangerous place" according to "dangerous nights" mod, so when you sleep there you get assaulted by random werewolves. Tigris seemed to ignore them which was sort of funny in a "he's found his soulmate, but don't worry about that other werewolf having its way". 3) Not sure if this is an issue with Sexlab Aroused or Breeder, but whenever my character mated with Tigris, arousal level stayed at 100. This was particularly frustrating running around in the wild (dragon attacking) and Tigris getting uncontrollably horny at the same time.... hilarious results, but probably not a good thing. 4) Lastly, I use an ENB which makes the lighting level more realistic. All of the dungeons/lairs seem to be on "full daylight" mode where there are hardly any light sources. Otherwise all in all very good. I'm certainly impressed with how far the mod has come and look forward to seeing more; particularly "hybrid armor".
omgea Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I really love this mod hope you keeping working even if its litte piece at a time as they say slow and steady wins the race .

Psych0Monk3y Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Let me be clear that I do love the mod. Corruption is kinda my thing and you have done a great job. Not having played earlier versions I can't say whether the story is better or worse, but it could be fleshed out a bit more. What I would like to see is an option to at least wear clothing, robes at least. As a role player I find it a little strange that I can walk through a city with this monstrous appearance and no one is reacting except to tell me to put on clothes. I am not necessarily asking you to do this, but it would be great if someone could create a mod extension of this that adds clothing - just body pieces so that the claws and feet still show correctly. It wouldn't make sense to add boots or gloves. I would do it but I know nothing about modding. Also, thank you so much for ensuring compatibility with Frostfall or else this would have been a deal breaker.
rangedphoenix Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 -snip- Constructive Critacism's: Hopefully these won't put you off, but they are the bigger "issues" I experienced while playing through the first 10 hours. 1) Definitely top of the list is "Where the heck is that journal that starts the whole thing?". I'm certainly impressed with how far the mod has come and look forward to seeing more; particularly "hybrid armor". 1) I'll see if I can't come up with a better way to start the quest in the future. Problem was, I didn't really know much about dialogue when I started developing this quest chain. Furthermore, it was also a good way to lock male pc's out from being able to start the quest. However, when male hybrids become a thing, I will definitely look into some alternate solutions for starting the quest. 2) Not really my problem, to be honest. I don't use dangerous nights personally, because I don't see a need for it. At any rate, I would like to do something for when the player tries fucking something else with Tigras in the nearby area... But I don't know enough about sexlab's code to do that yet. Nor do I know enough about looking around for NPCs... 3) That doesn't sound right. I can safely say that it has nothing to do with this part of the mod though... 4) Lighting is kind of a pain in the ass to work with. Although, with my ENB, it makes the caves/dungeons look plenty dark, as they should be. Also, as for beeing female support... Well, I actually want to implement it as a part of the quest's progression at some point. (Does anyone remember Eve...?) Thing is, until BF becomes a full release, I'm not going to even consider doing so. Let me be clear that I do love the mod. Corruption is kinda my thing and you have done a great job. Also, thank you so much for ensuring compatibility with Frostfall or else this would have been a deal breaker. I had actually put in some dialogue for when the player was fully corrupted.... but I think it might have been broken while I was updating the quest lines. I'll have to take a look at that later. And, I can't separate the legs from the body mesh because of the fact that... Actually, I'm not going to repeat myself again, just look above.
PokeCore Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 So this is a pretty dumb question but I've been looking around for about 45 minutes trying to find the journal but I can't find it anywhere. Can someone give me an EXACT location, or the console command for it?
Ice71Lake Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 where do go to start it then. how does that help yer I do not see it
ironheade772 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I'm having a problem with the lone wolf quest. I know that tigras is supposed to kill the darkfang assassin, but for some reason, they just stare at each other. I'm not exactly sure how to get the papyrus for this problem.
Guttersnipe Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 where do go to start it then. how does that help yer I do not see it There's a screen shot directly above your post. Pick up that journal and have a look; it'll probably help out.

I know that tigras is supposed to kill the darkfang assassin, but for some reason, they just stare at each other. I'm not exactly sure how to get the papyrus for this problem. That's where you're wrong. Originally, yeah... I was going to do that, but... werewolf ai is fucking STUPID when you make them fight each other. Instead, I had to replace it with a simple conversation between the two. If you don't have fuz ro d'oh, that would be why you can't see it. I guess it could also be that you don't have subtitles enabled at all... /shrug But yeah, the intro scene for Tigras was going to be much more awesome than it ended up being, but, as I said... werewolf AI sucks.
genericuser27 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 In this mod, the picture that is shown on the downloads page, is there an option to not have the morph as a female character?
CliftonJD Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 ugh... can i get some help. i get to the part where i'm supposed to get my tail, the message pops up, i hit continue and my crashes immediately. am i missing something, i have all the required mods. I don't know if this is the case with you I haven't gotten that back to tigras yet since I had to make a new game, but I've discovered that some tails won't attach with xp32's maximum skeleton - I discovered this bug with the succubus mod on nexus I have the same tail problem :/ . Let us know if you find a solution! is the next transformation after getting the ears going to be the tail? because if it is, i have the same problem, using xp32 skeleton it always crashes at that point. if that's what is making the game crash, is there a skeleton that is compatible? For personal reference, I use the XPMS Extended skeleton from here on LL, and have had zero issues with the tail. I am using xp32 and hdt body. Ears and tail have attached without issue. I am disappointed that I can't wear my cloak with the tail, especially since I have Frostfall, but I think the tail counts as a cloak with regard to exposure protection. That was a decision that was made by the people who do cloaks in order to avoid the tails clipping through them. Problem is, they still tend to have a lot of clipping issues depending on the animations you use (legs and arms, usually), which usually makes me end up avoiding usage of them. alright thanks for the suggestion *snip* Does it require the hdt physics then? I tried that same skeleton, so unless I uninstalled it wrong somehow it didn't work either, I didnt try adding the hdt stuff though. Everything else has worked fine for me with the plain xp32 skeleton, I get the pregnancy and breast expansion and tbbp physics, so I don't think I installed the skeleton wrong I personally use them, yes... As for if they require them, I have no idea. Like I said though, its always worked just fine for me, so I guess its just Skyrim being Skyrim. i'll try these and let ya know how it goes Update: the problems I had with the tail working on the succubus mod never got fixed, but I've finally gotten everything else working well enough to progress with tigras - cute ears and a furry tail I'd suggest to those still having problems with the tails on xp32 to try checking you have the latest version as some older versions don't support body changes completely and use all the files that apply to you, frostfall, chesko, or default then cross your fingers and hope that's enough
stallionsden69 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 does this mod or woould this mod run into trouble if I have a warewolf/lord vampire mod in the game already.QAs everytime i get to the body transformation skyrim ctds. I would like this mod but if i cant be both warewolf & lord vamp then I unfort will have to uninstall this one. Great & brilliant mod. the quest was super fun the other mod i have is found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29803/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D29803&pUp=1
rangedphoenix Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 This mod has no conflicts with vampirism, or becoming a werewolf. Both of those changes are a can of worms I NEVER plan to open up.

What potion is it that i need lol maybe not taking the potion is why i am ctding.
rangedphoenix Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 I have no clue what you are talking about. I haven't used a potion in this mod for quite a long time. Regardless, I have no idea why you would be CTD'ing, so asking me isn't going to help you much.
