Outfit Studio/Bodyslide 2 CBBE Conversions

So I tried my hand at BodySlide 2. Hopefully as the program develops and matures they'll make it more intuitive and user friendly, but I'm still impressed by it.

Here is my attempt at modifying Dragon Song.

Dragon Song Original: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/5341-megax780-converts/

Dragon Song with all CBBE Advanced Sliders: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qz0lrrac4t0bal6/Dragon%20Song.7z

It didn't come out exactly right. What I wanted was a body that looked liked CBBE-ML and I got the ass close to perfect. But the breasts . . . not so much. They're not as round as CBBE-ML, they've got a weird deformity on the front/top, this flat slant instead of a nice melon round. Plus they're too large. But I'd thought I upload here in case people wanted it and maybe some get some pointers.

Oddly, Nifskope won't load the altered mesh - even though it loads perfectly fine in game.

My first time uploading a mod! =)

On the reference BBP bodies some of them have really weird bone weights. For instance breast bone weighted to splotches on arm. Also the weights on both sides are quite different. I'm curious if they should be that way or if it's safe to clean them? I guess I'm not so clear on what is "correct" here.

There are some issues with that mod. It replaces all of the iron armor meshes with the dragon song meshes. Second, you did a decent job but CBBE textures cause hip seams with the outfit.

Alright, so thanks to cell's post about using CBBEAdvancedBody TBBP, my .nif files are coming out correctly!

Which means you can now test with HDT w00t!

Downside is I have to start from scratch on all my conversions, but this time I'll do it more neatly instead of half-assedly assigning them all different .xml files.

But before all that I just would like to see if this new version works for others, so I've attached a TBBP version of Alan's abysswalker again with the fix,

As soon as someone tells me it's working for them, I can go about re-converting the other requested armors!

Note: lol forgot to add the weights in this one as I rushed to test this, still would like to know if others can change their shape as well in bodyslide so I can continue conversions.

Took me a while to try out your conversions, I had to troubleshoot a whole fucking list of bugs/CTDs that were keeping me from playing Skyrim. Anyway, a lot of the conversion seem to not work once the breasts go beyond CBBE classic. The outfit doesn't seem to conform to a bodyshape at all. If you select the "CBBE" preset, you see that some outfits don't even touch the breasts but the same outfits fit nicely with the "CBBE Classic" preset. Once the breasts get bigger, the outfit doesn't increase in size to match the larger breasts. The milk cuirass is done quite well. It fits my bodyslide preset, there's some clipping on the butt though.

I'm too busy myself, but if anyone else is going to attempt to do this here's some advice to make life a bit easier for ya:

Step 1: Edit the first _1.nif in the meshes folder

Step 2: Save as usual sliderset

Step 3: DON'T start a new project and edit the same type of mesh

Step 5: Right click on mesh, click set textures, edit texture path appropriately

Step 6: Hit Save as

Step 7: Congratulate yourself and Outfit Studio team for this time saving technique of editing multiple similar meshes only 1 time and just writing the new texture paths in Outfit Studio itself without the need to learn another complicated tool such as nifskope or 3dsmax.

Step 8: Upload and share :)

Hope this helps someone out there!

I just copy the shapedata and slidersets files then change the names, correct the paths in the newly created sliderset xmls, then edit the nifs in nifskope to change the texture paths. I did that for the 3 variants of that jarl outfit.

I actually have no idea how to edit the texture paths in nifskope, I originally only caved in and downloaded it because of the need to use HDT without having to use a mod for the Havok object mod, but is there a beginner's guide somewhere to nifskope?

I'll probably learn enough of it so I can understand why bodyslide 2.0 corrupts the meshes in Alan's bbp pack.

Oh hi there. Don't mind me. Just thought I'd share my first truly successful conversion (with working panty zap option too!).

I hope I did this right and be sure to read the readme file! Enjoy!

Click the mesh in the view that you want to edit the texture of (this is the easiest way) and it'll highlight the edges in the view and on the left a NiTriShape will be selected. Expand it then expand BSLightingShaderProperty and click BSShaderTextureSet and then down below at the bottom there you'll see all the texture paths - easy to change.

Little confused what you mean with number three?

For number 5 would the game data/texture/panty mod be the correct path?

For step 3, I just mean do not start a new project/mess with current project settings whatsoever! (this is just for those who do not know that changing project settings in Outfit Studio is still bugged/not supported right now)

For Step 5 that does indeed sound correct, (I personally won't know as I do not have the mod installed) but if you are unsure/want to see how it looks in Outfit Studio I suggest at the very top change the path (should open up a window that'll display textures) use that to navigate the texture you want/think is the right one. Then hit load and go back to Outfit Studio, check the texture you loaded is the correct one then go ahead and right click on the mesh again and hit set texture and this time change the path in the 2nd box.

P.S. : in your actual path 'data/texture/panty mod' change it to elimnate the data folder as OS automatically looks inside this folder so your final path is this: 'texture/panty mod.dds'

Can anybody take a look at this mesh?

bound daedric armor female.nif

It's part of the True Bound Daedric Armors mod, and I would love to make it Bodyslide compatible and add TBBP and pregnancy scaling belly to it, so my character doesn't clip through it half the time. For some reason, even though the armor shows in Nifskope, it only shows the gloves and boots part in Outfit Studio.

The idea would be to adapt it to CalienteBodyAdvanced, but make it a bit bulkier, since the spell makes it appear over whatever armor you're wearing.

If the armor doesn't show up correctly in Outfit Studio then chances are it's bugged and you'll have to try and see if using 'offset shape' after right clicking on the mesh works out.

Chances are, since it's the cuirass, it'll work fine for you but will corrupt the .nif making it impossible to share with others, so if you really can't wait you'll have to buckle down and do it on your own.

Meh if you guys read through a couple of posts you'd realize OP's conversions (as well as some of mine) are corrupt because of Outfit Studio bugs.

Making it only work fine for the person who made the conversions but if they try sharing it with others it goes bonkers.

Still kudo's for the images so we can see what our conversions look like in-game for others.

Nothing to do except wait until next version of bodyslide and hope they fix it (submitted a bug report).

Maybe since then XunAmarox or someone else has found a workaround?

@blabba ah ty nice know that, i guess going back to 3ds max so (one day ill port something cute, help me god ^^) .

I have no idea what you're talking about?

I am trying to convert armors to cbbe advanced but I hit a road block. I can easily use the slides to match the original body shape the armor was using but I don't know how to continue from there.

How do I save the changes to the body before I use conform all?

I'm also having problems saving changes to my offset shape and I have no idea how I'm supposed to work with armor that start out T posing.
