yo nind, it is possible to cut meshes inside outfit studio? and how?

you mean separate or delete mesh?

cause both options do exist. you just need to mask the parts and select the option from right side by right clicking the part

do you mean cut as in "delete" or cut as in "separate"?

Both are possible though.

Mask out the vertices you want to operate on, then right click the mesh to the right and either select separate mesh or delete vertices depending on what you want to do.

OMFG! thanks!! i did it :D

Yeah there is a singular internal vertex that I was unable to weight... I could have deleted it but left it alone.  You're safe to say yes!

i was able to successfully separate all the 3rd body pieces (belt, cuff and all that) but after that, deleting the bone weight gave me instant ctd fatal error. does it do the same for you?

the one in the back right? that piece was annoying me so much cause i thought i messed up, but it's location is in such a place that it is hidden. hmmm maybe i should retry making it again with this knowledge.

I didnt split any of the pieces, just reskinned them, scaled, moved them into the proper positions.

Somehow managed to completely fuck my nifskope so there many not be many retextures for a bit.

you could easly convert this from uunp, just open up from outfitsudio, then add convertion reference CBBE, and conform all, done.

Do you confirm that the procedure also works in reverse, from CBBE to UUNP ? ANd for things like BHUNP or COSIOHD ? Thanks ❤️

there are a few steps he skipped.

1) open outfit in outfit studio

2) select all outfit pieces and delete breast and butt bone weight from selected projects

3) load cbbe to uunp reference

4) use increase mesh to fix any visible clipping and then conform all

5) select the uunp slide you use and turn it to 100 and select slider as default in slider menu in tool bar

6) load you uunp reference, copy bony weight and conform all.

7) check for any clipping and save.

if you want, you can skip a few steps (though they might make your work more tedious) by directly loading your uunp reference, though you will have to fix a LOT MORE clipping issue.

I don't know of a conversion reference for CosioHD, but the good thing is that Cosio is an enhanced CBBE body, so you can use the CBBE conversion reference and then load the cosio body into the body afterwards.

BHUNP... the SMP stuff is unfortunately not that easy to handle. NIND posted a tutorial on how to convert into SMP bodies (like BHUNP) just a short time ago, so the link to that guide should only be a couple of pages back in this thread.
