Hey folks, I am looking for some feed back on where our topic is going from here. NIND has blown us away with his amazing conversions to a point I can't match. I wear very little SMP items myself and as you know, most of my conversions are based on items I wear in the game and share with you. NIND on the other hand has been doing a lot of requests and converting suff I dont do. So my question is, is there still interest in non-SMP items or have we moved to NIND style conversions? I look forward to your input?

I'm quite happy in my ignorance and lack of experience in SMP. Though, I'm more into "lore" friendly armor I appreciate and thank you for your conversions.

I like your conversions!  I would rather not do any smp or hdt cloth stuff as it takes too long, but some of it is oh so sexy! Who would convert all of the lore friendlier armors if not you!

1) your bodyslide files and conversions are great.

2) smp is still too buggy and keeps crashing my game to a crisp 5 fps at times.

3) your bodyslide files and conversions are great.

4) NIND is actually just an AI created by CBBE community to pump out bodyslide conversions by willing him into existence.

Your stuff is great!  I still use it.  NIND puts out some great stuff, too.  I hope neither of you get bored with it.  Both of you, stay healthy, and to all other LLers, you all stay healthy.

Having just seen a panty with a hole on the back made me wonder...

Is it possible to have the game dynamically choose different meshes for the same outfit depending on the race of the character?

I know that for some gloves there are different meshes for khajeet and argonians, but is the same thing possible for trousers and the like too? Because it'd be pretty cool if for example a panty would have a hole for tails on races that have one, but no hole for the others.

Or an extra sleeve of sorts for the tail on less revealing clothes, like they did in Guild Wars 2 for the Charr for some armours.

To be honest that questions are outside the scope of this thread. We just do conversions. You might ask around in some of the threads on designing.

Having just learned this the hard way on the ban baro armor, yes this is possible.  you set up all the different variants in the armor addon section and make sure they are set to the correct race.

 

Then in the Armor, you need to add all of those different race Armatures to the correct armor.

I think it's really great that we have two talented folks working on conversations. 

It's not like you and NIND are overlapping one another and if there is an item that one has no interest in doing - the other seems to be willing to take a shot at it.

 

Sorceress, I have yet make the jump to SMP and doubt that I ever will, so yes I still have an interest in seeing non-SMP related items.

However, we'll continue to support you if you opt to stop working on conversations.

i don't know what almost crash means, it either crashes or not. It's clothing, it shouldn't brick the game.

What are you trying to do? want the robes as replacer instead of standalone? Then get the standalone bodyslide, install it, build the meshes for the robes. the path is meshes/armor/goma/robes/

when you go into the robes folder you'll see more folders take them from there and paste them in meshes/clothes folder. The miraakrobes should go in meshes/DLC02/clothes

i might be a little late to the party, but I am amazed by both you and NIND, you both make awesome, and I really mean, AWESOME conversions and clothing mods for the rest of us. At this point, i got more clothing mods from the two of you, than i do any other type of mod it feels! I always go through this post the first ting every time i go into the forums, and see what new there is, hoping to see either one of you!

I personally don't use cbbe that much anymore since i moved on to cosiohd, but your where one of the people that inspired me on starting to convert. I believe you should keep doing what you loved to do to begin with, and that is just doing conversions, and sharing them occasionally in these thread here. It is not a competition where you have to compare your results to other conversions, i believe that every member here loves each conversion you did, and probably gonna love your future projects even more.

NIND might become overwhelmed and experience burnout at some point. I think it's important for the load to be shared, lest we'll lose all brave heroes doing conversions at some point.

 

(Unfortunately I'm currently settling into two new jobs at the same time, so I had to postpone all my plans to partake in converting and being the one doing the more tame stuff.)

For Sure!  I am actually cutting back to targetting three singular outfit conversions per week to avoid this exact problem lol.

 

Update: Dominatrix plugged variants finished.
