Also they did use textureSets so this will definitely be finished tonight.

Oh, I don't care about the feet. I don't like the shoe/boots anyway. I'd use something else.

Already fixed, and yeah the issue was because Borgakh was secretly hiding a dick ?

Assuming Bethesda doesn't do anything stupid with the ease of modding on ES6 that will be the next upgrade.

About this, almost 95% of the mods are ported, Paradise Halls, TDF, Milk Mod Economy are already ported. Things changed a lot on SE

Like most people, once I'm familiar with something, I'm pretty resisitant to change.  I don't enjoy relearning things..... I just figured out how to convert to cbbe like 1.5 months ago.  Maybe i'll check back in a year and see if everything is ported.

Hey: I fixed it. Thought I'd share so others know or could enhance.

 

Process:

[load the file]
1. Click File/Load outfit...
1a- In Outfit/Mesh section, click "From File" and click browse to select file (armor_0.nif in my case)
1b- In Textures section, ensure "Automatically search for textures is selected" (it is by default)
1c- click "OK"
1d- outfit should load (Meshes tab should show shapes)

 

[show the offending vertices]

(this tricks outfit studio to mask those vertices that are weighted)

2. press "t" to show model without textures (easier for me to see 'masked vertices')
3. Click File/Export >/Export to .nif 
3a- get error "The following shapes have unweighted vertices, which can cause issues. The affected vertices have been put under a mask. Do you want to save anyway?" (for me 'spikes' is the shape with issues)
3b- Click "No"
3c- now the outfit shows dark spots where the unweighted vertices are - rotate the outfit to see

 

[Setting the reference]

(note, I tried to weight paint these masked vertices, but the brush couldn't paint them. I guess the shape has issues per se but I don't have 3d modeling software. So, this trick got it to weight paint. And, this oufit had the reference in it.)
4. in Meshes pane, click on UUNP and ensure only this shape is selected by seeing it highlighted
5. Click on Shape/Set Reference (now UUNP is green and highlighted)
6. in Meshes pane, click on 'spikes' or the impacted shape
7. To see the mask in context of the bone weight, Click on Bones pane and select the bone related to the offending vertex (in my case, 'NPC L Thigh [LThg]'--select each bone if you don't know otherwise and see if bone area covers the masked vertex), now move the mouse to hover over the model so the weight painting updates.

[Apply bone weights]

(let's fix it! Now I have no idea what I'm doing, so smarter/more experienced people can advise!! But it ain't stupid if it works as long as I'm ignorant of the consequences.)
8. If the masking is gone, go through the File/Export to get the masking back. In meshes, verify 'spikes' is selected if it isn't.
9. Click on Shape/Separate Vertices...
10. In the "Separate Vertices" modal, "Please enter a unique name for the new separated shape." enter something like I did, 'spikes-separated'.
11. Click OK

12. in Meshes, select the new shape 'spikes-separated' and only this shape
13. in Bones, select the bones that should govern this shape and only those bones. In my case it's only 'NPC L Thigh [LThg]'
14. Now add that bone weight to the shape: Click Shape/Copy Selected Weights. The Copy Bone Weights dialog comes up. For me, I increased search radius to 20 and click OK. This range made the shape fully weight painted--the default values barely reached the shape.

Note: In my case, there is another masked vertex associated with 'NPC R Thigh [RThg]'. I did the same steps 12-14: ensure Meshes pane has 'spikes-separated' selected, in Bones, click on the associated bone, 'NPC R Thigh [RThg]', Click Shape/Copy Selected Weights, adjust range, OK.

15. Click File/Export>/To NIF With Reference, and overwrite the original so the .esp is none the wiser. Of course you made a backup, right?
16. Now, I did this with armor_0, so I have to do the same with armor_1. Same steps.

 

Let me know if there's a better way!

Hey, Nind, on the Asshidal armor I have a huge gap in the back. It's an easy fix for me but other people may not know how to. Just bringing it to your attention.

Ooooohhh I noticed that in my amara armor edit and fixed it.  I'll do the same for the main files and upload a new version today.

Finished the blog post categorizing all of the conversions I've done so far..... the link in my signature will lead there from now on.

 

Now that I have 5 outfits in each category, i'll put together a merged ESP patch for them.

 

I plan to do 5 outfits/mods per merged ESP to keep source files to a manageable size.

This seems to be an original set of armor with some pieces edited from Nausica's Succubus Armor.
