Outfit Studio/Bodyslide 2 CBBE Conversions

Recommended Posts

May I request a conversion of either of these outfits, if at all possible?

- UNPB 佬司机绅士系列第 23 弹 (Which is, I believe, an Afternoon Dress retexture)

- UNPB 佬司机绅士系列第 22 弹

Spoiler

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot and forgot to check the rest of the thread. Already done, also the mods don't contain the retextures, so I guess I either dig deep into the 9DM community to get them (if possible and/or even available) or make the retextures myself.

Welp looks like i would need to entirely rebuild the mod's ESP to port if over to form 43 from 44, and i have no idea on how to use the creation kit as it crashes on me before i have a chance to learn it xD

and getting in contact with the mod author is a plain ol' nope~

so im at a loss on it o.o

Hey, Sorce

Is it easy to say how or why textures get out of sink between the nif and what it lists in outfit studio or is something that just happens?

Not sure what you mean. Out of sync?

Well, you know I do mashups and stuff and replace armor in mods. I may even change the texture path. Like I'm replacing the armor in the common clothes mod with mashups and I'm using rustic clothes mod. Now, this mod uses its own textures and I'm changing the path to use rustic clothing or something else. So, I do all of this in outfit studio and then when in game equipping the piece the game crashes. So, I found that I need to reset the textures in nif using NifSkope to make it work. Even if I change something I'll need to go back into NifSkope to fix it. For example:

Using this to replace the belted robes in the mod. Everything even the body will need to be fixed in NifSkope

Sorry, I couldn't think of another way to put it.

I can't answer your question cause I don't use OS to do my texturing, always in Nifskope.  Sorry  Try asking in the  OS/BS support forum.

I would try to reduce the number of pathways. Going thru steamlibrary? Why?  Is your game installed on your F: drive? The longer the pathway the more susceptable it is to disruption. if your going thru the Steam website there might be your problem.

Yeah, my steam library is on a different partition. It's all on F and local. It wouldn't matter if it was C it would still go through the same folder structure.

I'm not sure what makes you think you need to be linking absolute file paths in NifSkope.

You have either not set up your game directory to load as textures in the NifSkope settings (has nothing to do with the game and only with display in NifSkope) or your mod manager didn't install the files properly.

But you don't have to and shouldn't set absolute file paths in NIFs.

Well, out of curiosity I checked other armor that I know work in game and they're all like this in NifSkope... It's just fricken weird... They're all purple. So, why do some need me to set the texture path and others don't... and with those that I need to the game will crash if I don't.

Well, I know I shouldn't. I'm really puzzled why I should be. Okay, this is what I'm doing:

I'm taking Common Clothes https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51813 and replacing the armor in the mod. The armor from the mod works fine in game. I'll replace the 0 and 1 with what I want and then check it in game. When I eqiup the piece the game will crash. I'll then test what I'm doing with the parts of what I'm using like if I'm using a bikini top from NiseTanaka it will eqiup just fine and so forth... But when I equip the mashup CTD. And this is random... it doesn't happen all the time. I replace armor like in Immersive Armor all the time and have been for quite a while. This is the first for me in this issue. I've only and ever done stuff in OS.

So, the only thing I found to not have the game crash is to set the texture path in NifSkope...

Like here's my mashup for Sovngarde steel which is fine in game.

Well... Cell... You helped...

I went into NS and found where to set my directory to load, which then... well... loaded all the textures. I went through and quickly saved the nifs without any other edit and no crash. I don't know.. It worked and gave me some sort of solution but you  bringing that up had me thinking. Thank you!
