Neither. There was a mod that converted the original "Remodeled armor for 7B" that rkxx links on the Seranaholic page to CBBE and I used it for a couple outfits. Just cant find it online anymore so I asked here.

Hello Folks,

 

the great Daymarr released the newest CoCo Outfit for LE in CBBE and UUNP. However i have a tiny problem with the outfit. It´s the same like with the last one. The base body mesh for the chest piece is the CoCoCBBE Body. So i can use the outfit ingame after creating the bodyslide files but it basically uses the CoCo body when equiped. And since i don´t use that body type and don´t have the requirements it causes a lot of stress to my game. (FPS got really bad after few minutes and game crashes at some point)

 

Someone in the comments said, you can swap the body with outfit studio and replace it with another CBBE body type. May i ask how that work and wouldßt that break stuff lHDT releated? I really don´t know.

Are you familiar with outfit studio? This mod already has bodyslide files. It's common that even though they aren't set for CBBE the armor will still build against a CBBE preset. The only think that you'll need to do is replace the base body with yours from another set.

Not at all really. I tried several times to do my own conversions but whenever I did, it either wouldnt load at all or just failed from lack of know-how. I have about 23 outfits that have various issues : some clipping, or converting from se creating issues, or some such.

Then I'm assuming you're familiar with the basebody, etc and know your way around the interface? What you can do is see download the mod and build it against your preset - if you can but I'm pretty sure it'll work. Remove the basebody and import as a reference a basebody from a known good armor - one that you use in game. Do this for both the 0.nif, 1.nif, and export this as a nif to replace the 0 and 1 of this armor. Load in game.

 

That's pretty much the process. It's a little time consuming but if it works you don't need to wait for mods to be converted to cbbe.

I seem to be having some difficulties at this part here. The reference loads if I select cbbe hdt template, and load my preset via the sliders tab, but not if I select another outfits xml as the BaseShape. But now im getting serious clipping and I have no clue how to fix it from Outfit Studio

I took a look at this mod and this process won't work. The mod shapes the breasts and this can't be used unless it's converted. Sorry about that/

S'alright, I can at least try with other mods I have. Got a mountain of armors already but I'd hate to leave a project unfinished. Some outfits tho seem to only have the preset applied to the outfit and not the body. Or some outfits have holes where the breast outta be. Cant figure out why.

 

Could it be because they were sse mods that I ran thru Cathedral, and it fucked something up?

This is what happens when you use UNP BS or something else that's not CBBE. The armor is built but not the body. In this case you just need to replace the body from another armor mod that you use in game. You need to delete this and then insert reference from nif. choose the body from an armor. set the body and then replace the new armor set. you need to do this for both the 0 and 1 nif.

Not a problem. The major time sink seems to be fixing all the clipping. Although in hindsight that might come from what npc I am using to see the armors ingame. I am using Iona, the housecarl in riften (which weirdly has black hair when its suppose to be red lol). Ughhh, dear me, I have too much work to do but I'll get there.

If there's no clipping when your character equips the armor there shouldn't be any clipping on a NPC. You're building your preset first, right? NPCs should be using the same body preset then.

Firstly, I only play male characters, so a lot of these armors wont work on me lol. Second, a lot of the npc's will be using different "versions" of my bodyslide preset, and so what ended up happening is Bijin warmaidens might be using an older or newer preset settings than say, a random follower mod or Pandorables replacers would.

 

With all the recent chaos with my install, its also equally possible Iona has her own body, unique to her. I just dont remember at this point lol

Hi all!

Not sure if anyone is still making conversions in this thread, but I wanted to know if someone could make this set into cbbe or know where I can get a bodyslide for it. It came from a russian site that I got from a picture poster. It works fine in game as is (no crashes or game breaking weirdness) it just doesn't fit right and it makes dark marks under my characters breasts.

It's called XF Shadow Void SpiderTech Outfits Collection LE or Skyrim mod "Collection of clothes SpiderTech" as google translate says the site reads. It has three outfits with different colors of each.
