Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

I'm using version 2.04.3 and having some difficulty getting a leather collar off. Despite having had it on for about 20 levels, I've got my Destruction to about 67% but that's still not high enough to get the collar off (I'm playing a mage - and strength and smithing certainly won't get it off). 

 

Is there a certain percentage I'm aiming for to remove the collar?

you'll want to ask devious devices integration about that, nothing sd+ can do there, but from what i've heard:

the mages are the hardest difficulties with picking the collars

try thief skills aka lockpicking with lockpicks for best results, i think min said thats the easiest skill at a diffulty of 50% for master locksmiths

The next version of SD will have easier collar removal options.

There's also a difficulty setting in the DD mcm, default 185 I think, that you can set as low as 1 which helps to get rid of unwanted items. I've done it with really low magic and lockpicking skills at the low setting (using spells does use magicka, so you sometimes have to wait between items if your magicka is low). DDRestrained can help too, by allowing others to readily remove items (mcm configurable chance for each item type), again, handy for people like me who dislike some of the devices or the gag-game as a personal thing, or when game circumstances call for it. Hope that helps.

Is it intentionally part of the mod that your hit points get permanently knocked down to ONE when Sanguine heals you?

 

No.. it is not intentional.

 

Are you talking about the healing spell that happens automatically when you visit Dreamworld?

@Delera - It's probably not the source of your problem but you should have all SD related esp files loaded AFTER the SanguineDebauchery.esp. Right now, they are all loading before it.

Okay. So dropping the difficulty down to 55 from 185, made getting the collar off just fine. :)

 

But I'm still getting other characters saying "It can't be helped" and trying to rape my character.  I thought this was a function of the collar... and if its not, then what?

That is the Coveted element of SD+ in action.

 

Unless I missed something, Coveted doesn't have anything to do in that situation. It only controls NPCs randomly molesting the player after a few visits to Dreamworld.

Whew. Neat. Thanks.

I like the Coveted elements myself ("I can smell your shame!") especially with the recent expansion of dialog with Sanguine ("...those who covet you..." etc), among many others.

Yes.

Yes.

I was using resethealthandlimbs() for the player. I wasn't expecting any side effect from that but I disabled the healing process for now. We will see if that helps in the next version.

I've never done much with the thug quest-- I usually clobbered the thugs because I was powerful and it wasn't convenient for me to get captured when they attacked me.

 

But, I was fairly high level in my last game, I was alone, and I wasn't loaded down with stuff I needed to sell, and on my way to get trained for two levels.

 

I started running into trouble at one point at which every time the "master" wanted a sex scene, the game either froze of crashed to desktop.  I looked all over the website and noticed that Sexlab had an update that fixed a problem with some sex scenes causing CTD's.  I never experienced any CTD's except when I was in Mistwatch doing the thug quest; but, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and installed the new version of Sexlab (and one other mod that had been updated since my last install) and started a new game.

 

My level 5 'toon was easily captured by the thugs, since she had no hireling or other ally, and was still weak as Hell.  When she got to Mistwatch, after a few successful animations, the freezing and CTD's started, again.  I'm just stuck as to what to do; and I'm pretty frustrated about throwing out that other game for, apparently, no reason.

 

Does anyone know what this is?

 

I have to go, atm.  I'll try to create one of those log things when I get back (assuming no one knows the answer, already).

Maybe you should try this Mod: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/37652-sexlab-aroused-redux/ . Since i use this my game has not seen any CTD, no freezing, no slowing down, nothing.

I never found out where the shrine is. Sadly got a virus that corrupted my save so I had to scrap that game. Can anyone tell me where it is in game?

 

 

The shrine is located beneath Honningbrew Meadery, where Hamlin and the skeevers are for the thieves guild quest.

To get there without doing the TG quest there is now a secret entrance under the bridge right across the road from the meadery (looking north from the meadery).

The key is also under the bridge, in a strongbox in the water. it can be hard to see at night, depending on your lighting mods etc.

When you go in this way, Hamlin and the skeevers will be present and hostile, so be prepared..... unless you already took them out for the TG quest.

A taste of things to come in the next version of SD+.

 

I don't know yet if I will be able to release it by Halloween but it will be released soon. 

 

Things are progressing nicely. There is just a lot to add, test and fix.

 

A note about the crawling position - it will be only a static pose for now, like kneeling. Making it a fully animated crawling animation will take a lot more time and may come later.

I've got an horrible migraine, atm, and it's been quite a while since I created a Papyrus log (and even that was for FONV)-- and it doesn't help that the instructions at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/368/? aren't making any sense to me.  What is that file I'm supposed to be creating, and how..?

 

That Sexlab Aroused Redux mod is supposed to be for people who are having crashes related to Sexlab Aroused.  The thread for that mod pointed out that those crashes usually occur in populated areas like Riften.  That's what makes me doubt that I have the same problem: I never, ever had any sex-related CTD or freeze until I got to Mistwatch, doing the Sanguine quest.  That place is in the middle of nowhere, and I could probably count the number of people in the whole fort (most of whom my 'toon never even sees) on my fingers. 

 

In my previous game, my 'toon went through over 300 sex scenes without a single hitch, everywhere from Sanguine's Realm to Blackreach... until getting to Mistwatch.  Then, I started the new game, and the problems occurred, again... only at Mistwatch.  It seems to me that the likelihood of my Papyrus engine only being taxed at Mistwatch is remote-- unless there's more to this than I suspect.  What is your theory?

Before i used SAR i had crashes everywhere, even in nearly empty areas and i blamed SD+ or SL Stories or other Mods for these crashes, because i couldn't imagine that any of these crashes could be related to the arousing of my PC or anyone near me. In the thread of SAR i learned that SLA checks the arousing (and the change of that number) of everyone and everything around you in a large area all the time and SAR does the same, but only every 2 minutes and it needs only 0.5 seconds to check the whole area. So i thought "Why not? Give it a try, what bad could happen?" and the result was that i have now played for like 24 hours without any CTD, freeing or anything similar.

 

And testing it is easy, just disable the cloak spell of SLA, wait a minute, save and then just uninstall SLA (no need to delete it), then install SAR, load your game, wait a minute until you get the message that SAR is ready and then see if you still crash. If you still crash then you at least know that its not the fault of SLA ;)

 

I never said that SAR is the solution for everything and everyone, but maybe it will help you.

I'd just go ahead and add the mod, except that the mod, itself, warns that it isn't a perfect replacement which may actually cause problems and should only be used when it's going to fix a problem, and not when your computer is handling scripts alright, presently.  The fact that arousal rises at only 50% the normal rate, and, apparently, that prevents some creatures, at least, ever from resetting, hints at some of the issues that could be hiding-- and I have terrible luck even when I'm using mods that don't have a good excuse to fail on me.

 

I have no idea how to "disable the cloak spell" of SLA.  Like I said, my migraine is horrible; even if I had instructions to follow, I'd have a very hard time understanding them.  But, I'm unaware even of any instructions for that.

 

I wish that this made some sense.  I'm considering just switching back to FONV.  Sanguine's is the only thing I haven't played to the end, because something always went wrong.  I was willing to throw out my last game just to try to get Sanguine's to work this time (because I assumed that my problem was my version of Sexlab).  If I can't get this mod to work, I'm ready to just bag Skyrim for a while.   So, I really hope that I can get this straightened out.  If you tell me how to turn off that cloak, I'll try it as soon as I feel good enough to understand and follow the instructions.

I know :)

 

I used the static part of that animation for the crawling pose.

 

This mod is a replacer for the Sneak animation. Replacing animation files is easy.

The hard part of turning crawling on and off is that i can't just replace the files. 

I will have to listen to movement keys and play the corresponding crawling animations instead of the regular ones.

 

That will require more research and testing if that is possible at all.
