Either you don’t have collisions for the penis and mouth. Or you didn’t get it to work. If this is your female player character then as long as you use HPH she automatically comes with the SMP mouth. If she is an NPC then the bones and weights need to be transferred from the SMP head to her head. This has to be done for every NPC btw. To get the collisions working there’s a xml to download on the mod page: Himbo and TNG xml. Using PPA or not doesn’t turn the SMP on or off. It’s mainly used for the throat bulge and to have more precise control over the expression. Looks like that part is working fine. Edit: oh and if you use SOS you also need to do the xml edits that I mentioned above for the Futa Penis to work. The mod only has TNG included. Thank for your response, appreciate it. 1. The NPC in the picture is from Bijin Redux replacer ( all with High-Poly Heads ) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/118328 Otherwise ( if NPCs can not be converted by bulk with NPC replacers with HPH ), it doesn't make sense having SMP head mod in the game at all, as it will take forever to convert all NPC's one by one. 2. Yes, I have installed all the requirements and more. I have HIMBO + TNG with all XMLs. I don't use SOS. Can anyone post step-by-step installation tutorial of working rig? Can't figure out what am i doing wrong

If you want -every- NPC to have the SMP head, well yea. Gotta wait and see if that person that was making the automatic pipeline for it to release it. I'm also going through the process of patching all the NPC I want to patch still, but it's not allowed by mod authors to post those, otherwise I would. On 2. Great On a step by step guide. I could do that for you, but I highly recommend you start a female character and see if its actually working as intended. And then, again, if you want to use it with an NPC you HAVE TO follow the patching process to grant them the SMP head functionality. It's not optional, you have to. And there's a video tutorial provided by the mod author. If after that it still wont work I'll sit down tomorrow and write you a step by step guide. Currently I have it working fine with Himbo, TNG and 3BA Softbody. 1
Aetio Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Apologies if this has been answered before. I got it to work by following the instructions, but the problem I'm having is that I'm not getting the same results as the images videos on the main download page. The lips on PC are not as firm(they shake and tremble) as in the examples provided. am I missing a step? Do I have to build the face on bodyslide?

Hi, can be low or too high FPS, SMP is not made to work above 60fps without issues, it "works" but does not behave how it should. 1

What Predator said, but also: It can depend on your FSMP setup as well. Cranking up the quality helps reduce the shaking a lot. Firmness can depend on the size of what you put in as well. If you want the mouth to close more you can change the preset in PPA, lowering the BigAah or Aah will close the mouth more and yield a tighter fit. Also, if you go into the MaleGenitals.XML and the XML for the head there is a variable for 'margin', which basically controls how much margin the collision objects have before reacting to one another. Personally I have them at 0.01 for the head and at -0.01 for the genitals. Gives me the best looking result. Make sure you don't have anything else interfering with it. Other SMP mods that provide Genitals.XML can mess things up big time. For example if you use SoftBody, you will mess up the collisions if using the MaleGenitals.XML provided by the SoftBody mod. There may be a way to merge these, but so far I've seen no downsides to just using the XML provided from here. A bit of jitter is always going to be present, can't help that since it's a dated physics engine. There's a force applied to the bones in the head to get the mouth to go back to its default shape again. Every few ticks these bones then get to close to the collision object (the genitals mesh) and get pushed away again by a counter force. So you're always having jitter. To reduce the jitter try putting FSMP to AVX2 and cranking up the iterations. I go even beyond what the quality preset sets it, which is 32. Personally I go with 60. If I go higher I feel that it isn't elastic enough. What this basically does is that it gives you more calculations per second which in turn reduces jitter. Edited July 6 by LoneGentleman 2

Could not find the MaleGenitals.XML but have MaleSchlong.XML provided by SOS I will try the solutions you provided. I'm using intel cpu so according to Faster SMP is not recommended to use AVX2 that what I understood from notes provided. Followed some of the solutions you provided and the mouth and lips work a lot better. Do you know what settings to change or import to have better mouth opening. Do I use sexlab mcm expression editor? there is a mismatch between teeth and lips

The download section of the mod includes a mp4 guide to patch NPCs. Once you get the hang of it, should only take around 5 minutes if that. personally I always put these changes heads in a overwrite mod, so even if I need to reinstall the follower I still have the altered head.

Do you know what settings to change or import to have better mouth opening. Do I use sexlab mcm expression editor? there is a mismatch between teeth and lips learning how to use PPA is the trick here. Using it correctly you should be able to change expressions based on your needs. ive worked on making presets for it, but I ran into a small issue with girth filtering. Every add on size with tng seems to be girth 1, so I can’t filter for it to create a preset that has a tighter mouth for small ones and opens up wider for larger ones. I was going to figure that out first. though a few tips: - it generally loos better if the penis clips through the teeth some, specially on larger sizes. I once made the mouth open as wide as it needed for a large cock to fit in and it really didn’t look good at all. - I’m 99% certain that you should have muFacialExpressionsExtended (FMEE) installed as it lets you stack the phonemes. At least it does that for mfg, so I assume it does the same for PPA. That way you can use BigAah a few more times than just once. Though there’s diminishing effects. - if you need to close the lips use FV or BMP - to pucker use W - some expressions also open the mouth some, like the surprised expression. You can use that as a base. - eeeh and oh also open the mouth, but might distort the lips so be careful - make sure PPA is set to the right racial and expression preset - make sure the expression reset is overwriting expressions, phenomes and modifiers.

Thank you for responding. This clarifies things in my mind, which is helpful. This is not the first time I've had trouble no one else has when implementing a mod. It usually turns out to be load order or some unexpected detail of one of my 500 other mods that messes things up. I've looked into the load order possibility several times and a little into the other mods' details as well. I'll keep trying. At least now I know better where to look. rsunmcoxuxypqwuvfr Posted July 8 Posted July 8 I have an issue for patching npc heads, even when following the video provided. Using Outfit studio 5.8.2 (latest) to edit the head, the weight are correctly transfered but the exported NIF wont work as headmesh after: ingame i get the blackface bug for the NPC despite not having changed the name of any headpart shape. When viewing the exported mesh in NIFSkope, the headparts are not in the same spot. all moved from ground to head height Running Cathedral_Assets_Optimizer on the exported mesh part did not fix these issues. Was there a setting in OutfitStudio or intermediate step to fix the head nif after export?

Odd. On my end if I disable that mod it stops working and if I enable it, works. Sounds like an enigma. This is one of those where I wish I could just sit down at your computer and look at it, because it just might be a small little detail. One check mark not made correctly or a drop-down not applied. just to run over it here’s the way it ought to work: - installing SMP head mod with hph throat sliders activated in the fomod process. - (optional maybe? But I have them) installing mfg fix and mfg fix ng - installing mu facial expressions extended - installing PPA - have PPA active and working - selecting the SMP head race config in PPA SKSE menu - selecting the .toml in the expression tab that is provided by SMP head mod - checking mouth for when the expressions should be used - checking all overwrite options for the PPA expressions to be able to overwrite ostim expressions maybe I forgot something, but just on the off chance that any of these aren’t fulfilled I’m mentioning them. Hope it helps, if not then damn I don’t know. If it’s very important I’d probably try to test if it works with no other mods but the bare minimum to rule out any kind of incompatibility

And you do it for so many. The only thing in your above list I neglected to do was to check all three of the PPA overwrite boxes. I don't use ostim, so doing that may be moot. MU Facial Expressions Extended at least now doesn't mess up my animations, as it was for me previously. However, I still get no throat bulge. After hours a work, I found on a new game "the bare minimum" mods turns out to be around 70, what with all the body mods, SL mods, and their prerequisites. Even so, PPA is giving me crashes upon instigating animations for some reason, so I'm not able to test mod conflict. No problem with crashes in my regular game. Maybe I'll get that sorted out and be able to test for mod conflicts, which in my opinion seems as likely the source of my problem as anything, just as you suggest.

If you think the solution is moving the actor, would you mind explaining how you go about that? Is it the offsets in the P+ UI? If so, do you know if those save externally or do they only work for that save? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm hoping to find a solution that will exist between saves.
