ScarletGhost Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 yeah, sometimes things labelled quests (labelled as such within the in game console, and tes5edit and the CK) arent actual quests, their more like a series of actions and scripts performed by the game or npcs. In a certain light, you could consider this one a legit quest, only its for the Courier, not you.

In a certain light, you could consider this one a legit quest, only its for the Courier, not you. There are a number of things that have to be done using a quest but aren't technically quests. CDxFramework actually holds most of my custom functions that are used by a number of other quests. There are a few that actually control other quests (Controller quests) and do various things while the other one works.

The quests actually visible for the player are only maybe half of the quests in skyrim, even less so in script heavy mods. As quests are needed to contain scripts, do some processing for finding NPCs or other stuff with aliases etc.

I have not found any issues with the new content in the last few days so I have been letting the testers see what they can find. I have been working on some of the minor issues that have been around, pretty sure I have fixes the player being pushed around while being whipped along with some other issues.

In order to start the quest, what do i do something? thats from when the courier brings you a add paper with the location of the shop Ahhh... when does the courier brings me a paper?
Veladarius Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 It is a step closer to it, the devices that will be used are ready and will be used in the quests in the new version. The next release is setting the proper stage with an expanded shop location. This is a rough idea of the expanded shop that I tossed together the other day. Some of the buildings may change but it gives a pretty good idea of what will be there. There will be a number of quests associated with the expansion as well as other things going on. After that then I start the enslavement process. I plan on having a number of things to do around the shop and grounds as well as a number of other locations. I am checking a few last things right now.

They trigger at 3rd level and 6th level and should be delivered once you reach a town.
Adam Jensen Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Judging by the pic, I am assuming that Master would move to the big building and leave her two faithful servants in charge of the shop. But the other building, what would that be? Some living quarters?

From left to right there is; Guest quarters Masters home Smithy Barracks There is also a small horse stable directly behind the shop and some of these may have other uses as well.

The slaves currently in the shop will stay there but there will be quite a few others added to the other buildings and grounds. The guest house will be a multi purpose location and be used as an inn or VIP quarters when they visit. The Smiths will be moved to the smithy and may get an assistant or two. There will be a number of guards about and Herran will be the Masters personal guard. The Masters house will have several staff members and one or two others. There are other new npc's who will be around occasionally as well and I may drag a few other Skyrim npc's there on occasion as well.

The real question is: where's the dungeon? Under the slave barracks so the slaves can get dragged there more easily, under the master's house for her convenience, or under the smithy so there's always a supply of red-hot pain makers?

The hard part is making some good scenes and such for doms, it is easy to do a scene where the player has little control but much harder to do one that totally depends on the player. I am still looking for some ideas for things, just nothing that is only sex or whipping.
Adam Jensen Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Perhaps you could have the pc giving the slaves orders like "fetch me a drink" and stuff like that. Like you said, not everything about sub/dom needs to involve sex.
